Courtesy of fellow board member
steals_your_goats, we finally have some news about some upcoming post-Wave 5 Titans Return products -- Hasbro's German Amazon account is currently listing Titan Masters for
Optimus Primal under the product code C2389ES1, as well as
Toraizer under the product code C2390ES1. These naturally refer to the Maximal leader from Beast Wars, and another of the Autobot Master Warriors exclusive to Japan from the same group as previous Titan Master releases Sawback and Shuffler (see photo of G1 toy below). Both are currently unavailable and don't even have any images or details; but keep and eye out, check out the links provided and tell us what you think of these listings in the forums!

Bumblebee spin-off movie 2018. Let the rumour mill begin.
As previously seen in interviews reported
here, the shooting for the next Paramount Transformers movie - the Bumblebee solo film - is indeed starting, as confirmed by lead actor Hailee Steinfeld on her
Instagram account.
But in more specifically rumour-ous news updates, Instagram users
bi0z0_yt and
arun09345 report what might be - though please note we don't actually know if any of this is confirmed - a first set of cars to be used in the movie production, in Virginia. The Bel Air (yellow) is not a Transformer, but a project car for Hailee Steinfeld's mechanic character, but the red car reportedly might be. Also rumoured were a director's chair with a Paramount logo and that the vehicles were shipped by trucks, as was also seen for The Last Knight. Check them out, grab your bags of salt, and join the discussion in the Energon Pub!

Thanks to
Autovolt on Twitter, we've been alerted to a post on 4chan that supposedly reveals some previously unknown information about the upcoming Power of the Primes line! Take it with a grain of salt, however - this is in no way a confirmation. The post itself is below, as well as a transcript in case it's too small to read. Check it out, and let us know your thoughts in the Energon Pub!
There's a Beast Wars subline to Power of the Primes next year. I work at Amazon and this will be a shared online exclusive. Us and BBTS.
No original molds, but we will get the Takara Blackarachnia mold in the US from it. Eight Deluxe and two Voyagers, Primal and Megatron. Primal is a retool of the PotP Apeface. Megatron is a retool of PotP Snapdragon. They won't have Titan Masters, so don't worry.
(The PotP Grimlock is Leader sized, so it was never a consideration to be retooled as Megatron.)

Once more via Weibo user
NOTRAB, we have another look at the suddenly
teased re-release (not officially confirmed yet, mind you) of the 2007 movie Optimus Prime leader class figure - check out our gallery for the figure
here - sporting the new chromed parts, the same head as the first toy, and paint tweaks on the chest.
The figure is in a group shot with the same character's toys from Age of Extinction, the new Movie Masterpiece toy, and the Premium version of the '07 toy. Check it out below!

Thanks to Weibo user
NOTRAB, we have an image that suggests an odd pair of previously unknown upcoming releases. The first, and the main focus of the image, is a seemingly brand new deco of the '07 movie's leader class Optimus Prime mold. This could be a special release to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first film.
However, the Prime is perched on a box...a box that appears to be a three-pack of Bumblebees! While the image isn't clear, what we can see is the '07 movie's deluxe '76 Camaro Bumblebee, as well as the wave 3 Bumblebee from The Last Knight. The third could be Age of Extinction's High Octane Bumblebee, as the logo for Age of Extinction can be partly seen.
While the specifics for these releases are currently unknown, SDCC is coming up, so we may find out soon! In the meantime, check out the leaked image below and speculate to your heart's content in the Energon Pub!

After the previous confirmation of the movie being set in the 1980s, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura also teased Bumblebee's possible incarnation in the movie as the traditional G1 Volkswagen Beetle model - though obviously take it with as much salt as you can grab.
“You might even see a VW Bug,” Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura tells EW. “You never know.”
The producer also talked more about the story of the movie, and why now is the best time to work within the Paramount/Hasbro shared universe, name-dropping a couple of other toy franchises as he went.
“The interesting thing about doing a spin-off is it has to have some familiarity with the franchise, and then it has to have its own distinct qualities for it to stand on its own,” di Bonaventura says. After that, Paramount is trying to see if Transformers — and a few other Hasbro toy properties, like M.A.S.K. — can become part of an expanded universe.
Obviously, the Bumblebee film serves as a kind of prequel to the Bay movies.
“It’s the story of a 17-, 18-year-old girl who, through a series of events, she and Bumblebee find each other, and they make each other whole,” di Bonaventura said. “Bumblebee’s a very loving character. He’s got a lot of heart, so of course the idyllic life of these two is interrupted by the evil Decepticons. And how are they going to be able to deal with the problem without Optimus and without everybody else?”
The full piece can be found
here, and is best served accompanied by this previous
interview too!

With Transformers: The Last Knight reaching cinemas worldwide (mostly, does not apply in Japan and other regions) this weekend, we delve into the other movie in the Paramount Universe: Bumblebee! Courtesy of
Screenrant and producer Lorenzo diBonaventura, we know that the movie starring Hailee Steinfeld will start shooting this August - with plans for a sixth movie in the linear series to *maybe* happen in 2019.
In our exclusive interview with Transformers: The Last Knight producer Di Bonaventura, the premiere blockbuster filmmaker told us that filming on Bumblebee will begin this August, followed by an expected theatrical release later next summer. Exclusive:
“Well we’re going to shoot a prequel actually, a Bumblebee movie, which starts in August, so next summer we’ll see a Bumblebee movie. And then we hope to have another Transformers movie the following summer.“
[...]
“Look, I always wait for the audience, because there’s an arrogance to getting ahead of your audience. When you do, you get punched. So we’ll wait each time. We’re planning a lot of movies, but you’ve got to have the audience’s support, because these movies are very expensive.“
There is a possibility that the studio is waiting for more information on box office performance for The Last Knight, not off to a
great start as of yet. Read the whole piece
here!

Via ComicBook.com we have an interview with Transformers: The Last Knight cast member Mark Wahlberg, who returns from Age of Extinction as Cade Yaeger, discussing the role that director Michael Bay has created for himself within the franchise - and he does not expect him to leave as he has said a number of times already.
The point he makes though, is probably also tied to the amounts of money made at the box office for Paramount, which may not be the case with this fifth movie, as reported
here. Check the relevant point below, and the whole piece
here!
While he might be a bit fried at the moment, Wahlberg thinks after some time has passed, Bay won't be so willing to let go.
"So he'll decide that and I would be hard pressed to see him walk away and put it in somebody else's control and care. I mean, that's just the Michael that I know, but you never know, sometimes people decide to move on, so we'll see what happens."
The franchise has been heavily criticized at times, but still manages to bring in signifgant box office receipts. How The Last Knight fares at the box office will likely have some impact on Bay's ultimate decision.

Put on your sleuthing hats, folks! Seibertronian
Munkky has pointed toward a tweet by
GeneralTekno, who in turn reposts a photo from someone who got their hands on the Siege of Cybertron box set. The photo depicts the side of the box the figures come in, which strangely has the Beast Wars logo printed on it. Check out the photo and see if you can make heads or tails of it below in the discussion forums!
