The faces are, but not the actual Titan Master itself.

I had Twintwist as a kid and if both him and Topspin had come out some time before now I probably would get them both (particularly as they were part of the original Marvel UK Wreckers) but not now. There's really nothing in this wave of Titans Return that appeals to me much at all. I'd like Magnus Prime from the Siege set but that's about it. I'm kinda done with these.

I hope Takara does a cool repaint instead of Skipping this Windblade. Such a cool-looking toy, but look at that sloppy paint and number on her belly!

I ordered the whole wave of deluxes (actually voyagers and leader too, leaving just seaspray for now as he was only avail with cosmos). Looking forward to misfire and eventually slugslinger, great to have decepticons filling out the ranks...

Re windblade I think she looks good, and though looks like a reassemblage of various moulds, I think she's pretty good looking. I have the original deluxe and she didn't transform as well as I'd have liked and was pretty unstable due to her lithe frame.

Tho I'm not a fan of getting updates so soon, really hope they release a new arcee. The previous one is great but again perhaps a bit too light and also, in the American continuity she actually became a headmaster so that might make sense...

I really like these three figures and will definitely be adding them to my collection. I like the Hasbro Misfire better than Takara, for a change. Combiner Wars and Titans Return have been great lines. I really hope the trend (sans stickers) continues.

What is the Optimus/Octane one based on? And the titan master windblade has is a new head thats a new design no?

Optimus/Octane's head is based on a Diaclone pilot, hence the name "Diac". Scorchfire I don't know yet, all I know is that she uses the Fracas/Nightstick (long story) design as the basis.

That isnt the final product, this is:

As Misfire is proof (along with Wolfwire, SkullSmasher, Trigerhappy and plenty others aside from Blurr) Takara wont have more or better paint apps, but instead have different ones which may or may not strike your fancy.

I am still happily mystified by SawBack's titan master. its like they wanted to add more lion to the motif and since the head doesnt turn into a full lion in this version, well at least it would turn into something still lion themed.

Shuffler, Ramhorn and Daburu also have animal themed Titan masters which gives them more variety compared to the the billionth Stylor clones and other standard humanoid Titan masters.

Does anyone have any ideas who Cogman from the TLK toyline could be repainted as? Maybe Nightbeat?

Swoop, specifically the toy, while the head mode is from the animation model. It seems to be common for the Titan Masters to be based on toys, and the head modes on cartoons. Perceptor's Convex follows that trend.

Ah, I had not realized that g1 swoop had a visor. Sadly, since I came into this hobby later, reisued g1 toys were easier to aquire and our dear dinobots were never reissued

A couple weeks ago it was leaked that aptly-named skateboard company Primitive Skateboards would be releasing a promotional version of Leader Class Titans Return Optimus Prime done up in their company colors. Today, we have more confirmation that this special release is indeed coming: the box for the figure has been leaked by the same source as the figure itself, and is similarly done up in the Black and gold paint job, with some new artwork of Prime (giving an almost damaged look to him), and reveals the name of his Titan Master, Shreddicus Maximus! Yeah, I remember there were a lot of efforts to work out who the TM might represent back when we first got stock images. IIRC we couldn't find anything that fit very well back then either, so I wonder if it might be possible that it's actually a new character/design? (Though admittedly I can't find any images of pre-Jhiaxus Arcee so Terrolspix might be right, I don't know.)

Have we had any 'new' Titan Master partners in the line so far? "New" as in an original design, not just a new name or nominally-new character that's just the bigger guy shrunk down. Especially given that as a character who's (seemingly) primarily defined by IDW, I wouldn't put it out of the question to have this TM design be almost an "advance preview" of a potential new character to become Windblade's TM in possible future tie-in material.

(Though I guess if the head design (not the rest of the body though) resembles anyone, it kiiinda looks like Nautica - another prominent primarily-IDW-based female character? Not that it would actually be her, more just like a visual homage to a superficially-similar-character. It's probably not that though. *shrug*)

So ok.

Siege of Cybertron: so glad I pre-ordered when I did. Excited for the figures except Pounce.

Windblade is one of my skips of wave 5. Ramhorn, Seaspray, Twintwist, Misfire, Octone, and Overlord are my buys for the wave. Really excited for Twintwist too considering the wreckers and how Topspin is ranked #2 or 3 on best figure of the line currently.

Windblade looks pretty good, but I think I will stick with my Takara Adventure Windblade. Even if its a tad bit small. Getting little tired of all the not-headmasters being headmasters. Cant wait to get Octane though. Ive been checking Wal-mart every couple of days.

Do you still have his accessories? Because thats whats pricey. A jetfire body can be aquired for about $50 on e-bay (last time I checked) which isnt too terrible.

Seibertronian Albatross250 has linked us to a post on the Planet Iacon Facebook page featuring more in hand photos of Titans Return Trypticon! These new photos show the new dino titan in his ship, city, and, uh, Dino titan modes, as well as his box, and a comparison shot with Generation Metroplex!
