TonTon is at it again! This time, Seibertron member Riley Hoffman was the one to alert us to the latest video review upload at TonTon Review on YouTube. The upcoming Transformer this time is the Deluxe Autobot Weaponizer Sixgun, slated for release soon in Wave 2 of the War for Cybertron: SIEGE line. Sixgun is classically a companion to Metroplex from the original G1 series. We get a look at the conversion of Sixgun from Cybertronian flying munitions platform to robot and back. TonTon gives us a few size comparisons in vehicle mode too. The most important part, though, is getting a look at how to disassemble Sixgun into armor and weapons to equip other figures. Almost as a teaser, TonTon shows us one possible configuration on Sixgun's wave mate, also of the second Deluxe Class assortment in SIEGE, Ironhide! Get a load of Sixgun and a taste of Ironhide for yourselves in the video below!

What do you think of this modern version of Sixgun? Will you be picking him up to complete your Transformers Generations: Thrilling 30 Titan Class Metroplex? Will you be picking up more than one to arm your Autobot army to the teeth? Tell us what you think in the comments below, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest news on all things Transformers!

Thanks to Seibertron.com member Grimyeal, we've been tipped off to yet another early look at an upcoming Transformers Studio Series figure from YouTube channel TonTon Review! TonTon gives us a good look at SS-37 Constructicon Rampage, the first Voyager Class member of Devastator to be released in 2019! Rampage will be made available at retail, along with seven other movie series Constructicons, over the course of the next two years (2019-2020). These eight figures will combine to form the mighty Devastator as featured in the 2009 Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen film. Of note, this Rampage is decorated in red, like in his battle with Bumblebee in Egypt, instead of yellow, as he appearance when combined with his compatriots as Devastator's right leg in the movie.

TonTon shows off the conversion of Rampage from bulldozer to unipedal robot and back, as well as how to transform Rampage into Devastator's right leg. Rampage comes with a four-point black plastic stand to help him stay upright in robot mode. TonTon also provides size comparisons to various other figures in the Studio Series and other Transformers lines in both vehicle and robot modes. The review is narrated in English via computer voice. Take a look for yourself below!

Are you excited for Constructicon Rampage and the other seven members of Devastator? Can you wait two years to complete an entire combiner team? Tell us in the comments below, and keep tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest news on all things Transformers!

It seems like the Transformer: SIEGE line has just barely gotten the entirety of Wave 1 into brick and mortar stores in the United States, and already, we have some exciting stuff to show you for Wave 2, fellow Seibertronians! YouTuber TonTon has just published a video on his channel of the upcoming Transformers: SIEGE Wave 2 Deluxe Chromia! As usual, TonTon gives us a good look at the conversion of Chromia from Cybertronian car to robot and back again, showing off the fine detailing sculpted into this figure. Chromia may share some engineering inspiration with her forbearers in the Power of the Primes line, Moonracer and Novastar, and the upcoming Greenlight (and maybe Lancer too?), but there are some key differences with her transformation that set her apart form her teammates. As such, we know for absolute certain that Chromia has no Combiner Wars or Power of the Primes combiner compatibility. TonTon also gives us some size comparisons with other figures from various lines in both robot mode and vehicle mode to give you a good sense of scale. The video is narrated in English by a computer generated voice. Check it out below.

What do you think of this latest figure of Chromia? Will she be worth adding to your collections, or are you content with some previous releases of this character? Tell us what you think in the comments below, and keep tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest news on all things Transformers!

Seibertron.com member PrimeVsPrime has published our first English language review of the upcoming Studio Series SS-34 Dark of the Moon Leader Megatron on his YouTube channel! We had reported on a Chinese language review by Kevin Liu previously. This review by PrimeVsPrime showcases the converstion of Megatron from robot mode to vehicle mode, a licensed Mack M915 Line-Haul Replacement Tractor. PrimeVsPrime also shows off some of the articulation in robot mode and provides us with plenty of comparisons to other Studio Series figures in robot mode (SS-32 Voyager Optimus Prime, SS-31 Voyager Battle Damaged Megatron, SS-08 Leader Blackout, and SS-35 Leader Jetfire). We also get some nice comparisons with other Studio Series vehicle modes, in particular, SS-32 Voyager Optimus Prime and SS-29 Deluxe Sideswipe. Watch the review for yourself below.

Speaking of Studio Series 35 Leader Jetfire, PrimeVsPrime has also uploaded of that highly anticipated figure to his YouTube channel. You may recall that we newsed a video review recently by TonTon of YouTube. PrimeVsPrime's review features English language narration, whereas the TonTon review is almost strictly visual and without narration of any kind. The PrimeVsPrime video is available below for your curiosity.

What do you think of the first two new Leader Class figures for the Studio Series of 2019? Are they worth your purchase? Is the focus on screen-accurate robot mode scale paying off for this new joint venture of Hasbro and Takara Tomy? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest news on all things Transformers!

Tf Fan Rob contacted us to let us know that after seeing us post about the new Bumlebee Ratchet toy, he just had to get it and make a review. And we are glad because we can now share that with you to give you the best look yet at the figure. While it is easy to dismiss this figure, we shouldn't discount the fact that it is a brand new mold for movie Ratchet, as well as the first movie Ratchet to turn into an actual ambulance. It was just a few days ago that we saw some new shots of Studio Series 40 Decepticon Shatter, from the new Bumblebee movie. Now we have quite a treat for all you Seibertronians! TonTon of YouTube brings us a video review of this Wave 6 Deluxe Class figure, due out later this year! The review is in English, though it is a translation, and the narration is done by a computer-generated voice. Ton Ton shows off the coversion of Shatter from 1971 Plymouth GTX muscle car to robot and back again! Also included are some size comparisons in vehicle mode to SS-01 Deluxe Bumblebee, SS-32 Voyager Optimus Prime, and SS-35 Leader Jetfire, as well as robot mode comparisons to SS-18 Deluxe Bumblebee, SS-13 Voyager Megatron, and SS-07 Leader Grimlock. TonTon also describes the sculpting and molded details in robot mode and shows off some of the articulation the figure can achieve for dynamic poses on your display shelves. Interestingly, it seems that Shatter doesn't come with any extra accessories, though she does have a pair of guns sculpted onto her forearms. Take a look for yourself in the YouTube video below!

What do you think of Dropkick's partner in crime from the Bumblebee movie? Will you be adding her to your collection? Or are you waiting for a jet mode version of Shatter? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest news on all things Transformers!

Thanks to Prime vs. Prime, we have a pair of brand new English reviews for the upcoming Studio Series Bonecrusher and Optimus Prime figures to share with you today!

The Bonecrusher and Optimus Prime figures are the first 2019 wave of Voyagers. Bonecrusher comes out rather short in robot mode, somewhat in scale with Prime but definitely short compared to his fellow 2007 Decepticon mates, as Prime vs. Prime points out in his review. While is doesn't appear all that detailed, he does have a nice range of posability in his claw and his legs, and you can get some pretty good range of movement out of him. He features the background of the highway bridge battle from the 2007 movie.

Optimus Prime is a retool of the original Studio Series Prime figure, but now with a more accurate chest and back, brighter colors, and the ability to combine with Jetfire. He also comes with a backdrop featuring his battle with Bonecrusher on the highway bridge.

Check out the reviews below, and let us know what you think of the long awaited update to Bonecrusher and this updated Prime in the comments section below!

That was fast. We only learnt of the G1 Otimus Prime reissue a month ago and it has now been found at US retail. Like the 2018 reissues, this reissue is Walmart exclusive. It is priced at $50 and comes without a trailer, you can find the listing here.
The toy was found across a few states such as New Jersey and Hawaii and Larkin's Lair, who found him in Hawaii, has done a video review of the item showing all the contents for you to enjoy. Let us know if you intend on picking up this Optimus Prime in his minty G1-style packaging.

Fellow Seibertronian Actar has written an in depth review on the new Transformers Studio Series Jetfire. He gave us great images of all modes including the combined mode and the giant cannon. We see how it scales with both SS ROTF Megatron and the ROTF Fallen. Enjoy!

Alrighty! Just got my hands on the latest SS Voyagers and Leaders. However, the one that has won me over the most is Jetfire.

So, I was rather hesitant and critical about Jetfire when I first saw him, but after having him in hand for a day, I'm absolutely convinced. Jetfire is everything I wanted in the original Leader (albeit in a smaller package). Overall, he's much easier to transform than the previous Leader and everything but those two central panels that tab into the shoulders and engines hold together solidly. I'd even argue that the kibble is much better on this one.

While the fit and finish are subpar as per other figures in the Studio Series line, the bot mode is excellent. The transformation is really fun, smooth and impressive. I love how the jet mode folds in on itself multiple times to create the bulk of the body and I adore the fact that the thighs are actually formed from the jet mode engines unlike the previous Leader (they even sit accurately within the nacelle!). I'm still not that big of a fan of the faux cockpit head, but after knowing that Jetfire accurately parts-forms to combine with Optimus, it softens the blow somewhat.

Transformers News: Re: Transformers Studio Series Discussion (New 2018 Movie Line)

Speaking of which, yes! Jetfire does indeed combine with SS Voyager Prime!

...and it's amazing. Thank heavens they decided to go with parts-forming. Not only is it accurate to the movie, the combination gimmick does not take away from either figure much at all. The locks that secure Jetfire's limbs together when he's his own figure are brilliant. It's a clip system that holds all the parts together in bot/jet mode solidly but is still easy enough to disconnect for parts-forming when needed. In Jet Power Prime mode, everything is just as solid, though I'm slightly worried that Prime's leg joints (hip and knees) will not hold up over time as they aren't ratcheted. As for now, they're rock solid and almost too tight for when posing him alone. While the articulation in combined mode is mostly unhindered, it kinda sucks that the ankle tilts are opposite as Jetfire's legs are reversed for the combination.

Note that the instructions are utter garbage. Not only does it not tell you how to transform the cannon at all, but you can tweak the figure a little to get it looking much, much better. For instance, the bar behind Prime's head can be angled back. This not only tidies up the silhouette, but it also holds the rear wings/fins in place. Speaking of those fins, as can be seen from the above pictures, they can also be splayed open for a far more dynamic and movie-accurate look. It's a pretty nice touch that Prime's back kibble form secondary fins.

Transformers News: Re: Transformers Studio Series Discussion (New 2018 Movie Line)

Transformers News: Re: Transformers Studio Series Discussion (New 2018 Movie Line)

For the cannon, there is indeed a proper way to transform it. Upon close examination, the arms and flaps both have places to peg into.

All in all, thus far, Jetfire is my undisputed favorite Studio Series figure. So poseable, so much more accurate than the previous Leader figure and so full of character! All that on top of a much-improved combining gimmick! Now I only wished that they had put more effort into the Voyager Prime. I still don't get the necessity for the inaccurate leg transformation and the faux chest. In addition to being inaccurate, in my opinion, it's needlessly complex and fiddly for a Movie Prime and is as light as a feather. If you ask me, I'd only buy Prime solely to maximize Jetfire's playability. That's how great Jetfire is.
