Do you remember, some weeks back,
when we reported on a possible non transforming Quintesson figure being released? As it seems to have turned out, the toy itself actually belongs to the Cyberverse line, as demonstrated by
Peaugh on Twitter. He found this three pack at Target, and it includes a Quintesson Judge toy, with a rotating head gimmick, as Peaugh demonstrates in his tweet. Figures of Prowl and Shockwave are included, who come with helmets that simulate mind control by the Quintesson.
It doesn't appear to be a Target exclusive, and is showing up at retail right now, despite never being officially confirmed or shown at any show or convention.
So are you going to try and find this pack? Excited to have another Quintesson figure after 14 years? Let us know what you think below, and please
report your sightings in your local sightings pages to help your fellow collectors. Thanks to Peaugh and also to Seibertronian leokearon for letting us know about it!

There are two pieces of news that have been brought to our attention lately, all involving Studio Series figures. First, via site sponsor Robot Kingdom, and their Facebook page, we have in package images of Voyager Class Movie 1 Megatron and Mixmaster. This marks the first time we've seen this version of Megatron in his packaging, though as Seibertronian D- Maximal_Primal points out,
the movie 1 toy has the 2nd movie torso and the art on the box is the first movie body with the 2nd movie head
Accuracy issues aside, it's notable that this version of Megatron also barely fits in his box as well- looks like he'll be a large sized Voyager, like his predecessor. Mixmaster on the other hand, is quite a wide figure, taking up a lot of space in his box.
And in other Studio Series news, it appears that a couple of Japanese Twitter users have gotten their hands on figures of Arcee, Chromia, and Elita-1 and managed to combine them. If you'll remember a decade ago, the original deluxe sized versions of Arcee and Chromia had parts on their figures that served no other purpose, but were rumored to have been part of a leftover movie concept that would have shown the three combining. As it is, those features made it into Arcee and Chromia's figures, but Elita-1 was relegated to a redeco of Chromia's figure, so the concept was nixed.
Whether these Studio Series figures are officially supposed to combine, or these are just some clever fan modes remains to be seen, but there are some good shots of all three fembots in both modes included. These pictures come from Twitter users @konkiti1031 and @Pta56556613. Thanks to Seibertronian Sammythekat for the heads up!

Thanks to eagle-eyed Seibertronian Bucky, we have some very interesting news to report. As can be gathered by the title of this story, there has been a listing created for the previously unannounced MP-49, which
site sponsor BBTS has as Black Convoy! It's fairly safe to assume that this figure will be a "Nemesis Prime" recolor of MP-44 (aka Convoy/Optimus Prime 3.0) in his traditional black, teal, and red colors. The previous Black Convoy Masterpiece figure is shown below.
What do you all think of this out-of-nowhere listing? Will it turn out to be genuine? Are you excited about this potential figure? Let us know below, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest in Transformers news!

While there have been many rumours for what we will get in Earthrise, I wanted to concentrate on the ones that were the most unexpected and the most mysterious, the voyager Quintesson and deluxe Quintessa figures. While we published a few articles describing what different users, who claim to have seen these toys, have stated, it was varied enough that it comes down to speculation. So why not do that and take some educated guesses?
The only thing that is more than just a rumour are
the listings from Hasbro (that have since been taken down) which name a voyager Quintesson and a deluxe Quintessa. It's rather interesting that even though Quintessons are a G1 staple since the 86 movie, they haven't appeared much in toylines. The last time we got one from Hasbro was in the Energon line from the previous decade. And even then, it was more an homage to G1 rather than an actual representation of the G1 characters. It seems the only Quintesson related characters we keep getting are the Sharkticons.
But now, finally, we are getting a Quintesson figure and a voyager, no less. While fans were wondering if it would transform or not, the latest rumours indicate that it will in some way. It is meant to be a mainline figure in a Transformers line so that does make sense and I would speculate as such. Of course, I'd expect the Quintesson mode (the only mode we have seen in the cartoon) will be the main one and what it transforms into to be a secondary function. Then again the Siege line gave us a good example of a G1 toy that only had one mode back in the day, Brunt, and it turned out to be a pretty good transforming toy. The fact that some rumours did mention a rotating head gimmick would mean this is the Judge type Quintesson (which seems to be the default type when thinking of Quintessons).
As for the deluxe Quintessa figure, the mystery is we don't even know what that could even be. Sure, we had a Quintessa in the Last Knight movie but the Generations line has been bent on G1. Even Barricade, who would be a crossover character from the films, was released in
a fully G1 look as opposed to a Generations style version of his movie look, which has
already been designed. Just to say that in the Generations line, the Quintessa figure would probably not even look like what she was in the film, nor even be a crossover character. We also need to remember that Quintessa is also the name of the planet and Hasbro has been known to change a character's name into a location associated to that character when releasing a toy (like
Darkmount). So what else could that Quintessa listing be? Well, since it's a deluxe and we are getting G1 Quintessons, I would speculate something in regards to G1. If Hasbro is indeed going down that line to give us toys from that part of the G1 film, the other candidates for toys could be the Prosecutor or Professor type Quintesson. Another possibility, especially when thinking of it transforming, would be the Allicons. These are characters we never got before. Then again we could always get several of these Quintesson themed characters since while we know only of two listings, there could be more we do not know about.
So this is what is out there being discussed and I wanted to bring that here. What do you hope the Quintesson figure to look like? And what do you think the Quintessa figure reffers to? What would be ideal to you? Let us know!

Thanks to the
Edduardo Vinz Colin AKA @cybercookiereports on Instagram, we have a huge list of potential Earthrise figures that have now hit the rumor mill.
Now before we get to the list, we remind you that these are merely RUMORS and we have no hard confirmation for any of these figures yet, though a few
were on this list from a few days ago. But it is exciting to speculate, and many of these figures do make sense given molds and clues we have been given up to this point. It is also interesting to note that some of these figures finish off the original Siege fanvote options, giving all 6 characters from that vote a toy.
Without further ado, the rumored figures include:
Deluxe Class:
- Shrapnel
- Bumblebee
- Runamuck
- Trailbreaker
- Sunstreaker
- Tracks
- Needlenose
Voyager Class
- Blaster
- Quintesson
- Skywarp
Others:
- Commander Class Sky Lynx
- Unknown Class Megatron
- Unknown Class Quintessa
- Titan Class Scorponok
- Exclusive Conehead 3-Pack
- Exclusive Deluxe Class Runabout
So what do you make of this list? Anything on here you really want to see, or anything you really didn't want to? Let us know what you think in the comments section below! and feel free to speculate away and tell us what you want and hope to see!

We recently posted news about upcoming figures, one of them being a
voyager Quintesson. A fan who claims to already have this figure chimed in to give a better description of the toy, due to all the wild speculation that was going on in the fanbase. Below is what they wrote in terms of description. The source has previously asked not to be named. Below is what they wrote in terms of description.
I don't know if the design and aesthetic is fit to the Earthrise line.
I don't know , look more like Cyberverse to me.
Articulation only have 4 tentacle move as balljoint at base.
the gimmick is push on top and the head will rotate.
I like it but to you all I don't know , maybe you expect more. But to have such quintesson figure is cool to be honest
it has that pushing down then the head rotate between each face gimmick.
the color is black and each face has that kind of desaturated color , very egyptian like.
Now it could be that this is another Quintesson figure for a different line, we really don't know. All we know is we have further info on an upcoming Quintesson figure, which sounds to be rather simplistic in design.
UPDATE: An anonymous source has stated that they do have an attack/cannon mode that requires some sort of reconfiguration. So there is a transformation aspect to it, but it's possible that the initial source either didn't know of that possibility or didn't think it was worth mentioning (or would count as transforming). We'll see.

Listings on Hasbro China's official Taobao store supposedly leaked a lot of new info and have since been taken down. We cannot confirm if everything below is true, so we will take it as rumours for now. The new figures listed are some we knew were coming, like deluxe Runamuck and Titan Scorponok as well as Movie Masterpiece toys Starscream and Ratchet (this is not the first time we hear of these). However, there was also a listing for a commander class Skylynx, which makes perfect sense for that size class, as well as two Quintesson themed listings. One is for a voyager class Quintesson and another is for a deluxe class Quintessa. Both would be for the Earthrise line. Below is what fellow Seibertronian Sabrblade posted on our boards, including the direct source of these rumours on Weibo.
Sabrblade wrote:New (well, new-ish) rumours for Earthrise (and Movie Masterpiece, but that's not important right now):
We already knew about Titan class Scorponok from NYCC and Deluxe class "Runamok" from his winning the fan poll.
Commander class Sky Lynx was previously speculated from an earlier rumor about the next Commander class being one that was said to "complement" Titan class Omega Supreme.
Voyager class Quintesson and Deluxe class "Quintessa", however, are both very new rumors.
According to
JakeToys and
MEGA-Decepticon's weibo, these are preorder listings from Hasbro China's official Taobao store:
- MPM Mv1 Starscream
- MPM Mv1 Ratchet
- Earthrise Titan Scorponok
- Earthrise Commander class Skylynx
- Earthrise Voyager Quintesson
- Earthrise Deluxe "Quintessa"
- Earthrise Deluxe Runamuck

Greetings Seibertronians! Following a tip off from fellow Seibertron user,
Omegatron we've learned if a possible Studio Series release of Sentinel Prime. The information came to light following a post made by
Loopaza Mega Store's Facebook account. It lists the Japanese Studio Series releases for February to May next year, and while many of these have been spoiled, it does provide one we haven't heard of. Till now.
That one is Sentinel Prime.
He is apparently voyager sized as going by his price in yen which matches Scrapper and Movie 1 Megatron. Of course there's no images at the moment but with a lot of conventions coming up, it's just a matter of time.
What do you think of this news? Are you excited to recreate the three way fight at the end of the movie? Are you still bitter about Ironhide's death? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Fellow Seibertronian Powered Convoy shared some potentially exciting information about a special event mentioned on
Takara Tomy's official Twitter account.
Powered Convoy wrote:TakaraTomy's official Twitter account tweeted about an upcoming event (?) dubbed the Raiden Project.
No details are known, but it could be anything from some promotional tie-in with a train service, to possibly a reissue or new version of the combiner.
I'm personally hoping for a new version of the combiner (either like the Voyager & Deluxe combiners or like the Titan sized combiners). A reissue would be great too.
I am hoping it's not simply some promotional event / tie-in with a rail service.

Many Transformers fans have been anticipating the announcement of a Hot Shot retool/redeco of Transformers Generations - War for Cybertron: Siege Deluxe Class Hound, ever since Hound's box art was revealed, depicting the G1 Autobot with a very non-G1 head sculpt, one that very closely matched that of Transformers: Cybertron "Cybertron Defense" Hot Shot. Well, the wait is over! This retool/redeco has apparently become a reality! Killtok of reddit apparently got the hookup from a friend in Asia. Thank you to Puhonix, Mega.Prime123, and Sabrblade of the Seibertron.com forums for bring this reveal to our attention! The reddit user doesn't have any other information on this Transformers Siege Hot Shot figure at this time, other than alleging that it is an "official Hasbro product." We will have to wait and see if Hasbro and/or Takara Tomy make an official announcement in the near future, now that the proverbial cat is out of the bag. For now, enjoy the pictures "Killtok" has posted to
reddit and his
imgur account below, which include several shots of "Cybertron Defense" Hot Shot in robot mode and alt mode, along with a robot mode side-by-side comparison with War for Cybertron: Siege Deluxe Class Hound.
Is this figure legitimate? Will you be adding this second homage in War for Cybertron: Siege to the Transformers: Cybertron franchise in the form of Cybertron Defense Hot Shot to your growing collections? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest news on all things Transformers.
