Wave 2 of the Earthspark toyline is getting a haphazard release, with different classes being made available at different times in different places. So fans have had access to this Megatron and Thrash for a good while, getting them online, and this past week we've been getting reports of them being found at brick and mortar stores. They have been found in Walmarts in several states, like Ohio and Maryland.

Something rather interesting in the Rise of the Beasts line is how it offers alternatives to the Studio Series line, or vice versa, since all toys are coming out all at once, unlike what was originally planned.
For those curious, we have review for the deluxe Bumblebee which is available in a Target exclusive 3 pack and sold on its own. We also have comparison images between that Bumblebee and the SS 100 ROTB Bumblebee, its counterpart in the Studio Series line. Knowing that both are available individually, which you do you prefer and which would you go for?

Some fans thought that those initial images of Studio Series Gamer Edition Optimus Prime showing exposed arms/hands in the back were due to early copies that were missing pieces. Well, Emgo has gotten a MISB copy and we get to see that this is indeed the look we are going to get. He goes into great depth in this review, showing the transformation, matrix chamber and so on. While the US got wave 1 of the Rise of the Beasts Titan Changers, where only Cheetor is new, Canadian Walmarts got wave 2 and skipped wave 1. Further proof that all these toys were ready months ago and all waves are coming in at once. Wave 2 has Scourge and Cheetor, which makes it so that we can share with you a review for both toys. While Scourge doesn't seem to be a toy one would recommend to even a child, the Cheetor toy is good for what it is, which is a very large toy under $20. The Cheetah mode itself is quite impressive for how cohesive it looks with lots of molded details.
The Studio Series Gamer Edition figures are coming! For those still on the fence, we have in hand images of Optimus Prime and Barricade. The Optimus Prime images were posted on the MN TOY POSSE Facebook page, while the Barricade images come from a PrimevsPrime review which we also posted below. We thank Kanrabat for giving us a heads up on it. Some key points are a shot of voyager Optimus' back and an image of Barricade vs the deluxe FOC toys from a decade ago which shows that not all was roses back then either.
You probably have seen the transforming masks of Rise of the Beasts Bumblebee and Optimus Primal in stores by now. If you wanted to know more about them, we have a review of them both below.

Retro Hound and Thunderdracker have been found for a little while in Canadian Walmarts and Americans are getting notices that their Hound is ready to ship out soon. For those unsure whether to buy this toy or not or what to look out for (since there may be breakage issues), we have a video review for you below. And this is the first reissue of Hound in the west, so many fans are maybe unfamiliar with this mold. The review shows some size comparisons and reassures that there is indeed die cast in the toy.
Transformers reviewers are hard at work covering all the new releases in the Transformers Rise of the Beasts line. Here are some reviews for toys we had not covered yet, voyager class Optimus Primal and Optimus Prime, as well as Smash and Change Rhinox. All of these reviews come from Prime vs Prime. Optimus Primal has been really tough to get a good read on since his deco looks really drab when seen through a camera lens. Hopefully this review sheds some proper light on the figure.
Remember, these toys are all in the mainline. In Studio Series, we will get a leader class Optimus Primal, a voyager class Rhinox and a voyager class Optimus Prime but that last one will be a Target exclusive.
The Transformers Rise of the Beasts toyline is out in most parts of the world and while it is very big with not every country getting every size class yet, the Beast Battle Master class seems to be one of the more commonly found ones. Those are the Targetmasters and so far we have Rhinox, Cheetor and Skullcruncher. These are also the toys within the gimmick line that have had the most excitement from fans since the Targetmaster gimmick is the same one we've had since G1 and lends well to a collection. Plus, as you'll see in the reviews, the detailing on the figures is very good.
