Big news, the Transformers Legacy United line is being distributed across the globe and starting to appear in stores. This particular sighting is from a Toysrus in Singapore and it's only for the deluxe class figures. This includes Cyberverse Windblade, Rescue Bots Chase, Animated Bumblebee and Magneous, which is part of 2024's Rock Lord type gimmick for the line.
We have videos if you want a better look at the figures coming from Prime vs Prime and Chuckdawg 1999.
The images of the sighting come from Isaac who posted on Facebook.
While fans may not have paid much attention lately, Costco has been keeping the tradition of having big Transformers themed toys available exclusively to them during the holiday season. It's just that the recent offerings were non transforming licensed toys like those big remote control Bumblebee toys from Jada. But this year we get an actual Hasbro release. It is a rerelease of Cyberverse Tropper class Battlecall Optimus Prime in evergreen styled packaging. This toy was found at a Costco in Québec Canada by TF fan Guy.
Christmas shopping season has started at Toysrus. Their stores are stocked to the brim, including the Transformers section. While there is a lot of stock, amount wise, there isn't much variety. It mainly features non Studio Series Rise of the Beasts toys and Cyberverse, which makes sense as they mainly target parents/kids. They also concentrate on their exclusives and their big Transformers deal for the next two weeks combines those two strengths of their: the exclusive mainline Rise of the Beasts 3 pack from the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line.
Below is how various Toysrus stores look like at the moment. You'll notice that they did get the wave 4 Legacy deluxes, but in a small amount, compared to the rest. They are also up to date on the Cyberverse line, with the latest Arcee/Hashtag finger puppets and the warrior Megatron wave.
In other sightings news, the final wave of 2023's Studio Series line is being found in Canada. Leader Primal and the deluxe wave with Mirage and Nightbird has been found at Gamestop.
The Transformers Frankentron figure is out at Toysrus stores in Singapore. The second Jurassic Park crossover set was also found there, the one with Dilophocon vs JP12. Regarding that set, it was also found in Canada at Toysrus. We have reviews for both of these figures below, enjoy!
Singapore sighting from Automorpher, Canadian sighting from me
We know distribution can be unpredictable, but at least we now see that the US is getting the final wave of 2023's Studio Series line at brick and mortar retail, as well as online. We've had reports that the following have been found in Target stores across the US:
- Deluxe wave including SS-104 ROTB Nightbird and SS-105 ROTB Mirage
- Leader class Studio Series SS-106 ROTB Optimus Primal
- Voyager class Studio Series SS 86-23 Ratchet (who is packed with WFC Optimus Prime)
It was just within the last two weeks that figures from the Velocitron Speedia 500 collection started popping up at American discount retailer Ross stores, including thethe highly elusive Cosmos.
Now Target is sending Buzzworthy Bumblebee figures to Ross, as well. SS86 Cliffjumper, SS86 cartoon deco Kup, and SS B-127 were all found at a Ross store in West Bountiful, Utah.
And if that wasn't enough, Seibertronian Casey280 found Shattered Glass Slicer and Exo-Suit, a Hasbro Pulse exclusive, at a Ross in the Vintage Oaks Shopping Center in Novato, California. Photo proof is provided below.
So have you found any retailer exclusives at discount/closeout stores in your part of the world? Send us a photo and where you found them to us to let the Seibertron community know.
The last of the original G1 seekers has been released in Canada and the US. However, only the Hasbro Pulse orders shipped in the US while in Canada the toy has been found on Walmart shelves. We have a video review of the toy for you below.
Commander Class SS 86 Ultra Magnus is making a splash across the globe by being found in the largest english speaking markets within the past month. And we wanted to jot it down here in one post with a mix of news that may be old or new.
In Australia, he was spotted at Toyworld (among other places)
In the UK, he was found at Forbidden Planet
In Canada,he was found at Gamestop
In the US, he's been found at Gamestops as well for the past 2 weeks.
He's also been shipping from online retailers, where he is readily available.
We have news that the Transformers Studio Series core class wave 7 has been found at US retail. Fellow Seibertronian kurthy found this at a Target in Coralville, Iowa. The wave consists of:
2x Bumblebee (Dark of the Moon)
2x Terrorcon Novokane
2x Frenzy (1986)
2x Noah Diaz Exo-suit
This is unfortunate. As anyone could guess, there wasn't really a shortage of Velocitron toys at the manufacturing/distribution level. Instead, Walmart botched their stocking of this line and eventually dumped it on liquidators. We know this because these Walmart exclusives, including Cosmos, are now showing up at Ross. Also unfortunately, it took a while for this news to be far reaching, so odds are your local Ross is already depleted of that stock which has been scooped up in voracious fashion. The entire first wave of the line was spotted at Ross, that includes the deluxes, voyagers and leader class. Sightings have been sporadic, but we have confirmed sightings in Daytona and Vegas. The photo below comes from Ultra Reverb.
The prices are $7.99 for deluxes, $8.99 for voyagers and $16.99 for leader Scourge.
