The first tweet shows off Paleotrex's robot mode and it's alt mode.
The second tweet shows Paleotrex's mask gimmick, harking back to the mutant masks of the first Beast Wars toys (while also referencing Optimus Primal's skull mace from his Ultra Class incarnation)
The third tweet, shows off all the components that make up Paleotrex, and two combinations, done with Voyager Class Optimus Primal and Netflix Transformers Deluxe Class Impactor!
These are only the tip of the iceberg regarding the combinations that will be possible using this Fossilizer, something that is multiplied if you factor in Sieges Weaponizers and Earthrise's Modulators into the equation.
Paleotrex's Japanese number is KD EX- 01 as he will be an exclusive on those shores, despite being regular retail everywhere else.
What do you think of these new possible combinations? Are you adding Paleotrex to the ranks of your Predacons? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

SDCC 2014 Exclusives Knights of Unicron.
Thinking about it, you started collecting again during Combiner Wars? Which was the year after these debuted. So thats probably why you've not heard of them

And wow... Makes me wonder what monstrosities they can come up with multiple skeletons. Actually:

Yes! Though I only remember it for the commercial, I don't remember ever actually seeing them in stores.
And yeah, definitely see the similarities now that you've brought it up.

But oh man, that sword mode will look KILLER on Volcanicus. Could even be used as armor of some sort I bet...sorta like the Prime Beast Hunter armors.

As long as the figures have the right 5mm ports, then as long as you can imagine it, you can do it!

I was thinking the other day about such characters as Ironworks and how they represent the best utilised potential of this WFC line. If only Beast Wars had an equivalent for Kingdom to likewise refine
...If only

Meh... I mean, I had that spider thingie as a kid and I had a blast with it at that time. From a certain point of view, this whole Transformers thing is a gimmicky kids toy concept that they somehow sprinkled magic dust on and it all "worked". I think someone creative enough could at least do a brand new concept and homage these crazy items. Very creative, mind you.

Tut, tut, tut.
In the case of Orcanoch, they don't have to get that creative. As a Killer Whale adaptation already exists...
As I said, if they can make a decent figure out of Ironworks. They can for any of the "bases".

It is easy to forget, with all the evergreen repetition, that HasTak can be really creative... when they want to be.

Except it was nether Hasbro nor Takara, but IDW who did that Tidal Whale.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Bone Age wrote:Alright, alright, you convinced me okay?? I admit it!! I was wrong and I'll never speak against Orchanoch again!

I mean its not like we haven't already had an odd choice for the titan class anyway in Predaking.

It is ok for some lines to simply end.
That said, if they want to reappropriate the line to sell Combiner Team boxsets, then it would be something else altogether.

Honestly I'd love for a small series of generics, especially the ones from Devastation. We have nearly all the molds for it (Battlechargers and Coneheads), with only the Heavy Units being absent (but even then, a Blitzwing is currently in preproduction for 2022).
Also, I believe that multiple leakers have confirmed that the Titan Class is on the chopping block post-WFC. Some of the reasons they cited were: lack of brick-and-mortar presence, large price gap between it and Leader Class, a small pool of characters to choose from, and lack of overall sales. Commander Class was created to eventually replace Titan Class and solve these issues. There's been some discussion of there being more Commanders per toyline, but I don't think there's any credible word on that.

The rumours I heard said that the titan class was more dependent on sales (which must have gone well for them to do a second run of Omega) plus which leaks have spoken about Blitzwing?

Having said that, if Hasbro can make profit on commnder classes selling at lows of $40/£45 fprofits on full rrp have to be crazy and the way to go.

Exact opposite happened with my ER Runamuck last week. Due early november, pushed to early february 2021.
I have Rattrap on preorder through amazon and no email from them about him being moved up, so I don't think it's universal, although it is a universally crappy thing to happen after the same happened to Fasttrack and the Ratchet/Paradon set

Which we have an adaption of... sorta:
Beast Wars Fuzor Torca
Orcas aka Killer Whales are easily made just so you know. Just paint a shark black and white and optionally flip its tail

Although, I'm also the person who won't spend more than $11 including tax for SS86 Blurr.
I don't plan on spending more than $15 to get SS86 Kup.

Yes with the only difference being clever packaging to hide the atrocious backpack.
Posted by Rodimus Prime on October 30th, 2020 @ 7:43pm CDT
To each his own. I'm the other way around. I doubt I'd spend even $5 on Kup. I'd get Blurr if I didn't already have the TR version, and I got ER Arcee for $17 mainly to complete the TF:TM cast. Without that huge backpack, she's not a bad looking chick, and she'll be posing on the shelf in robot mode anyway, so the backpack/glider will stay in the box only to come out for vehicle mode.Sowndwave76 wrote:I honestly don't know if I'd buy an Arcee figure if it were only $5...
