LeAwesome1 also shared their thoughts on Overload and Devastator.
LeAwesome1 wrote:Hot DAMN what a beaut! Time for my thoughts on this all now!
Overload himself looks great! I love the design of the figure, however will admit he is not that great for articulation, the arms have many joins but I still struggled to get a decent pose with them. His vehicle mode also looks great to me, very long and fits in with the rest of the crew. For combined mode, he holds everything way more securely than I thought, he only holds up Scavenger by a sliding peg and a tiny clip, but it feels incredibly solid! Great figure, even on its own!
Now, for Devastator. I love him! He looks great, much better in person. Due to his design, as many have said before, he cannot get on all fours without mistransforming, as the legs slide in on sliding pegs, and the head cannot move upwards either. However I am still amazed at how well engineered this figure is, the fact that all the components have vehicle modes as well as robot modes and can still combine amazes me. He also feels incredibly solid, I held him just by his crotch and carried him with one hand and it did not feel like it was going to crumble. Absolutely remarkable! I can't wait to get Skipjack to properly complete this beast. Only minor complaint I have, is that the arm comprising of Scrapmetal and Hightower is too heavy for Scavengers port, so it is very hard to get in a good angle as it often just falls back down. However, I knew this would be a problem when I got Scavenger.
1 ) Scrapper, absolutely love him
2 ) Mixmaster
3 ) Rampage
4 ) Scavenger
5 ) Overload
6 ) Scrapmetal
7 ) Hightower
8 ) Long Haul, purely due to his QC being a bit off, I love this figure too! Says a lot about the team.

Wow, both Overload and Devy look so good!! I don't think I could be happier with how Devastator is coming out, he looks the part, he connects good, and he is super imposing.
Glad to see he is coming out as good as I hoped! MOAR PICTURES!!!

Very nice, I am surprised at the height compared to CW Devastator, I thought he would be a bit shorter!
You know, you could always just lend me your Overload so i can take pictures next to my Supreme

big question: does he have a waist swivel?
In PrimevsPrime review, he said that he may have it, but he thought that his copy could be defective, since it was a prototype.

I don't think so, it looks like it has some give but it doesn't turn, don't want to risk snapping it though!

The first two show comparisons with Combiner Wars Titan Class Devastator and a much smaller version of himself in the Revenge of the Fallen Legends Class Devastator. Then we see comparisons with Titans Return Titan Class Trypticon and Combiner Wars Bruticus. Thats not all though, we get a comparison with Jet Power Optimus Prime! To end this buffet of images we get a better look at Studio Series Devastator from different angles.
LeAwesome1 also took more photos of Overload himself to share, including one with the only other toy version of Overload to date, the Legends figure from the Revenge of the Fallen Legends Devastator set. We also have pictures of Overload with Studio Series Deluxe Class Jazz, one of the smallest deluxes in the line.

It is. The arms use the same type of connector, but the legs don't.

Maybe it’s the smile, maybe it’s the multiple arms, or maybe it’s the spider eyes, but I can totally picture Overload doing the spider click thing like admiral Trench in the Clone Wars

On the one hand I'm really excited to get Overload. On the other your pics have made me really impatient for him.

Black Hat wrote:Whilst I wish he was able to go on all fours, and Scavenger really needs a bit more white, the fact we have a decently accurate, fully transformable/combining, roughly to scale and nicely made set of ROTF Constructicons released at retail is amazing. I'm also actually glad he's not completely gargantuan, he's about as big as I'd want him. I really hope I can get my mitts on this set at some point, they look like fun.
Needs his wrecking balls though.
I was thinking, to have an actual good scaled Devastator, should have it been enough to size up all the classes?
Like, all the deluxes turned into voyager class, the voyagers into leader class and the leaders into commander.
