We just saw the first image of Krok and Quake and now we get to see what their heads look like. This is courtesy of TFND's Facebook page. Below each is an image of their G1 counterparts for you to see where some of the design is coming from.
It's interesting how we saw images for the Combiner Wars G2 repaints almost a year before they were released and yet still haven't seen anything regarding Titans Return Krok and Quake which are coming out in less than a month (in some areas). Well, thanks to Albatross250 we finally have our first look at Quake and Krok in a small image of all 5 2017 wave 2 deluxes without their heads. This confirms that they are indeed straight redecos of Skullsmasher and Hardhead. We also see Topspin who looks like a new mold. If you are the owner of this image, please let us know so that we can give you the deserved credit.
Courtesy of Bumblebee21, we now know that Robot Kingdom has posted a breakdown of all the cases in the second wave of the 2017 Titans Return figures. In these listings we finally have the confirmation for Krok and Quake. That makes 5 deluxes in the same wave, since it also includes Perceptor, Kup and Topspin. They are shortpacked which hints at them being simply redecos, like the previous wave's Breakaway. We have no images for these new reveals yet (the one in the thumbnail is a digibash). Which molds do you think they will use?
Also, we have a breakdown for every other class where we see that they are bringing it back to the way waves used to look like a few years back (and the way RID currently works) with older figures repackaged. These are to ship out the first of February. Check them all out below!
Seibertronian AzT has let us know that Combiner Wars Computron has finally dropped below $50! Hasbro Toy Shop has listed Computron for $49.99 and he is currently in-stock as of this time. You can find Computron HERE! Go and get him guys: he is half off, and he is available for free shipping!
It has been a few months that we are aware of Takara's plans for the 10th anniversary of the first live action Transformers film. What we didn't know was what the MB stood for in the item numbering, like MB-11 (which is a rerelease of Leader Prime). People thought it was short for Michael Bay. But no, it was revealed today that the line is called Movie the Best, meaning that this is Takara's choice for the best molds to represent the toys in a certain scale. Leader Optimus is an outlier (being number 11) since he is simply a chance to release the recent APS-01U Optimus Prime toy in Japan.
We mirrored the images below so that you can get a reminder of what they look like. These are coming out within two months, will you be getting any?
We have some new video reviews for Legends toys. RFC Reviews compares Legends 35 Super Ginrai to Hasbro's Power Master Optimus Prime. Check out how different the arms are!
We also have a Ginrai review from Chuckdawg who also reviews Legends 39 Brainstorm, and compares it to the SDCC's Brainstorm. Let us know if you think these are worth the importing costs or if you are fine with the Hasbro versions.
Courtesy of user akaolu from TFND.net, we have a full batch of in-hand images of the recently released Takara Tomy Transformers Legends LG-35 Super Ginrai - the Japanese release of Hasbro's Powermaster Optimus Prime from Titans Return. We get to see the different modes, the Titan Master integration, some poses, accessories and Check out a selection below!
In Italy, as some other countries in Europe, the 6th January sees the celebration of the Epiphany (if you're into sorta-religious celebrations, that is) and the end of winter festivities nation-wide. For the occasion, much like for Easter and other holidays, Hasbro has released a Befana - the Italian name of the day - themed Robots in Disguise stocking. Though I am not sure what is inside these, expect sweet treats and maybe a small toy, as is customary for the day, or a lump of coal if you've been bad!
With maybe the fastest solicit-to-release MP ever, the (hopefully) final BAPE MP-10 has hit the streets. The Transformers Masterpiece MP-10K Convoy BAPE Black Camo Version was released today, exclusively to A Bathing Ape stores in Japan, and upon tradition he is once again in extremely limited numbers. Some of the lucky recipients snapped some pics for your viewing pleasure which you can see below (with minimal scrolling effort!).
