New Brandon has dropped by with some news. Beast Wars Neo FDP #10 has now been released! Here is what New Brandon had to say about this release:
"Whoa! He Got Eaten!" is finished! Yes, that's the real episode title. You can't make this stuff up... unless you're a Japanese anime writer, of course. No, you didn't miss anything. This is the first new episode of Beast Wars Neo in quite some time. Not the easiest episode to finish in its development, but I think the finished product came out quite well. Most of the delays were due to starting Beast Wars Second and finishing up on Robotmasters, which are both available at
TFCog.
The Maximals find themselves searching for a capsule on something which they don't know what to make of -- something which plans to make them into its next meal. To make matters worse, the Predacons can't miss out on a capsule hunt, so they're in the picture as well. Not only is this creature really large and really hungry, there's also all sorts of crazy hazards inside his stomach.
To download this episode, all you have to do is visit our site at
TFCog.net. Currently, the only version available is 141 MB zipped up, but we will get a smaller version for you soon.

Metrodome's consultant on their Transformers title and renowned Transformers fan, Chris McFeely, was gracious enough to give Seibertron.com an
update on the progress of the 20th anniversary DVD title of Transformers: The Movie - The Ultimate Edition, which is scheduled to be released in the UK this summer.
"
After a lot of quiet rumblings, it’s finally time for some solid news on the upcoming “Transformers: The Movie Ultimate Edition” DVD being released by Metrodome in the UK this summer!
The movie will be available in a two-disc set – while disc two will contain the original unaltered fullscreen movie, the real show is on disc one, where the movie is presented in a brand-new re-mastered widescreen format - a progressive PAL to PAL transfer made directly from the original film negative. As well as a 2.0 audio soundtrack, a carefully constructed 5.1 audio track has been created to accompany the movie – after the “Prime’s pop-gun” fiasco perpetrated by Magno Sound on Metrodome’s earlier “Transformers: The Movie Reconstructed” release, this track has been picked apart and put back together for the optimized 5.1 audio experience, sans unintrusive whipcracks and other crazy added sounds.
And how does the video image itself look? Well, first let’s compare it to “Reconstructed,” which peeled back the edges of the video to expose more animation, but suffered in the process. Here’s Devastator doing his thing, and Galvatron piloting his ship.
Looking hot, yes? But I think what more people want to know is, how does it compare to the recent 20th Anniversary offering by Sony available in Region 1? Well, let’s set Kup and Optimus Prime side-by-side to show it off (with some caps shamelessly borrowed from IGN.Com)…
Positively bursting with colour in comparison! And to finish it off, here’s Hot Rod in a four-way compare and contrast:
That's all for now, but there's lots more in the works!"

The Movie Reporter has reported that
Tom Kenny will voice Starscream in the upcoming Transformers cartoon show, which as far as we know is to be named; Transformers Heroes. Originally the
article reported that it was rumored that the voice actor, best known for his portrail of Spongebob Squarepants, was given the part of Starscream on the upcoming
Transformers Movie. However, this was soon corrected and confirmed that Kenny would be part of the new show's cast.

Ever since fans learned that the upcoming
Transformers Movie would be a reality, they agreed on two things. They wanted Peter Cullen back as Optimus Prime and Frank Welker back as Megatron. Well it looks like fans will only get part of their wish. It looks like Welker will not be backj as Megatron. Welker posted the following on his own
website back on December 12, 2006:
"I am not really sure what's happening with the "Transformer" movie other than my talented friend Peter Cullen has been cast. Presently, I have not been offered any roles. They are doing a new series based on our old shows which neither Peter nor I were cast. I think Corey Burton is playing the new Megatron. He is a wonderful voice talent and a great guy, so it's nice to be replaced by folks you like at any rate."
Also notice that Welker mentions that Corey Burton will be playing the part of Megatron in a new Transformers series.
Keep in mind none of this has yet to be confirmed and it is only rumor at this time. The main reason being that Welker made these comments back on December 12, 2007 and on January 8, 2007 IESB reported that Welker was days away from signing on as Megatron.
