Seibertron.com user 5150 Cruiser has spotted a potentially spoilerful post over on entertainment and comics news site ComicBookMovie. The author has allegedly reliable information on the upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction trailer, said to debut soon, via his brother who 'works in the "industry" and always gives [...] good stuff'.
The description, if correct, is packed with spoilers (not necessarily of the plot itself, but of the trailer) and this may be debunked once it actually airs, but don't say we haven't warned you! There are definitely similarities with clips from the Super Bowl teaser clip (rewatch it here!). Check it out below.

-We fade in. We're in space. Calm as it can be. Before we know it, literally dozens of battle ships are approaching as what to be seen in the distance... EARTH.
In the midst of all this, we hear a V.O.
"Optimus Prime..."
-A large battle ship, bigger than the others, hovers over earth.
"You've been on Earth long enough to hear the saying, you can run but you can't hide"
-A LARGE BADASS looking robot (Lockdown?) exits the ship. He stares down Earth from above before these jet-type things come from his back and jumps off, falling down towards Earth at a rapid speed
-Cut to the robot landing on Earth. Crashing into the concrete. So hard that it creates a shock wave miles ahead. The concrete cracks and splits all the way to a farm, where a gang of autobots are surrounding Cade, Tessa, and Shane.
-Optimus looks at the ground, than ahead...
"They have arrived"
-Lockdown, and his badass ship behind him, walks towards Lockdown.
-Optimus tells an autobot to get the three out of here (Cade, Shane, and Tessa), and the autobot tuns into a race car.
-Lockdown face turns into a gun and he shoots it at Optimus.
-Optimus goes down and...
-Cut to the Paramount pictures logo
*Note, that is all like the first 37 seconds*
-We pan over the city of Chicago, where several posters showing the discrimination towards Transformers are displayed in quick flashes. We hear a voice-over, similar to Kelsey Grammar
"We always knew they would return... We just never knew when"
-Cut to facility where hundreds of transformers are being manufactured.
"And they couldn't have picked a better time"
-A title smashes onto screen, "THIS SUMMER"
-We see a shot of Cade face to face with Harold Attinger, (Kelsey Grammar)
Cade-"What do you plan to do?"
-Cut to several Transformers looking beat, weakened, and or destroyed.
"Give them a blessing... An ending to their ever lasting struggles..."
-Cut back to Cade and Harold face to face. Harold, without hesitation, without blinking, he says in the most calm, disturbing voice;
"Their Extinction"
-A tile smashes on the screen "Prepare Yourself"
-This is where the montage of awesome stuff happens. Although my brother didn't give me every single detail, here are the highlights (In order)
• Cade, Tessa, and Shane are all running from a huge battle taking place behind them
• Smash title "For Extinction"
• A decepticon corners Tessa nears a car where he proceeds to pick her up. Following that is Cade yelling "Tessa!!"
• A bunch of helicopters are chasing after the car we saw Cade, Tessa, and Shane get in earlier in the trailer. But... a huge decepticon rises from the ocean/lake next to the highway, and throws a large abandon ship onto the highway causing bridges to collapse.
• Bumblebee burst through a building, literally, and retrieves Cade and Shane while sliding down the other side of the building.
• A shot of Cade holding this cybertonian artifact. (Can't describe it, but it's really gnarly looking and it's described as being a "compass" type thing)
Cade says something like "This has to lead to something"
-Cut to black. We hear a voice-over from OP
"It can't be"
-We cut to OP inside this cybernetic, futuristic cave type things. We fade in and out but then we the picture stand still. OP looks down and sees about 5 HUGE looking autobots.
-Flashes of the 5 autobots awakening... and transforming... and literally TOWERING over OP. (Think Kevin Hart next to Yao Ming)
-We cut to black and we hear a growling, raspy, ROAR! Grimlock baby.
-And now the money shot. We see a bunch of traffic on the main street of Hong Kong. A sort of bump is heard. It grows louder and louder. People exit their taxis and cars. They look behind them. The bump grows louder. So loud and strong that cars are subtlety jumping and people are rocking. People look... They start to scream... They run away...
IN THE DISTANCE, GRIMLOCK (RODE ON BY OPTIMUS), STRAFE (RODE ON BY BUMBLEBEE), SLAG, SLUDGE, AND SNARL, CAUSING A STAMPEDE AND CHARGING TOWARDS THE CAMERA (Minus Strafe who's flying).

Colin Covert of the Minneapolis Star Tribune wrote a rather sizable article going through the history of cinematic robots and the reasons why we love them. In the article, he tries to cover everything and everyone from Sonny (I, Robot) to Johnny 5 (Short Circuit) and even our beloved Transformers.
We'll provide you a small tidbit to get the ball rolling:
But the biggest, baddest mecha-villain of all must be “Transformers’ ” Megatron, supreme leader of the Decepticons. Not only has he tried to enslave humanity in three Transformers movies, but he’s inspired eruptions of incoherent storytelling, furthered the career of Shia LaBeouf, and lined the pockets of heinous film director Michael Bay. And he’s due back on our screens June 27 in “Transformers 4: Age of Extinction.” Let’s hope he finishes the job this time, or we’ll be in for a slew of Sequel-bots.
And that's not all! The Star Tribune also created a slide show of our favorite movie robots, also by Mr. Covert, entitled "A Short History Of Movie Robots", ranging from Fritz Lang's Metropolis, all the way to Optimus Prime! Also worthy of your time, the gallery can be found here: http://www.startribune.com/entertainmen ... 26621.html
Thanks to Seibertron.com user Manterax Prime and the TF Yuki Twitter account, we get a look at the Takara Tomy version of the Age of Extinction (Lost Age in Japan) Premier Edition Leader Class Optimus Prime. Another Twitter user, Akira TF also posted an image a couple of days ago, revealing the figure to have no discernible differences from its Hasbro counterpart (click here for the full gallery). Check them out below!
Fellow Seibertronians on Facebook might have noticed that this week marked the 10th anniversary of the social media platform, and the cute but easily annoying 'look back' videos that came with it. The official Transformers film Facebook page had also noticed, and prepared one for the live action incarnation of Optimus Prime - at the same time promoting Age of Extinction. Check it out below!
Welcome to the latest edition of the Seibertron.com Twincast! This episode features your Host, Counterpunch, along with regular crew Seibertron, the Epic Return of Razorclaw0000, Rotorstorm, and Scotty P.

We catch up with the cast and find out exactly how much snow everyone is buried under!
That is actually Rotorstorm's driveway. Yes, really.
Then, we start out the actual show with awesome rockin' Listener Questions straight from the Ask the Twincast thread. Your inquiries about Springer's lot in life, sealed packages, what kids like, and more get center stage right at the top of the show.
Age of Extinction news then hits fast and furious, and we start out by taking a look at the Hero Mashers line. Do these look like fun stuff, or just glorified tub toys?
We've also got a first, clear look at the "new" Bumblebee. Are the cast's Camaro Engines revved and ready to sting? Stay tuned, as Counterpunch unexpectedly drops some R/C knowledge on our brains.
Apparently, this Lockdown Car Decepticon Guy has a face, and it's pretty human-like. How does this development sit with our fearless cast? Or is this not a surprise at all?
We then debate the age old question of Pirates vs... Knights?!. We also propose how Stella Botcon can get her their groove back.
We then move on at last to our thoughts on the latest wave of Generations Deluxe figures. From Macro-cons to Seekers, we've got you covered with opinions everywhere.
Time to weapon up, wallflowers! Seibertron himself was lucky enough to already have Generations Voyager Whirl in hand when we recorded, so listen in as he fills us in on what awesome times await the rest of us.
We turn our collective eye of Sauron to the future and ponder what's in store for future Generations waves including Chromia, Arcee, Jhiaxus, and others.
We wrap up our toy talk with in-hand thoughts on the simplified Beast Hunters Voyagers. Pleasant surprise? Crushing disappointment? Both?
Then it's time once again to say goodbye, but before that, some bragging rights are to be had. Who's caught up on what? And what bomb does that loser-face Scotty have to drop on us this time?
That SOB actually built it.
Thanks everyone for listening and we appreciate the continued support!

The Autobots vs Decepticons feud is alive and kicking, and you'll be teaming up with and fighting against other Commanders along faction lines. Legendary heroes and villains will be making special appearances from time to time, although more is planned to be revealed on that front at a later date.
We'll have much more on Transformers Universe in the coming months. Anyone interested in participating in the beta should register their interest now.

Episode 84 "Covenant" is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes within 24 to 48 hours of this news post.
Here are the awesome fun time topics that the cast discusses in this episode!
The Covenant of Primus has been published at long last. The story of the Thirteen Primes and the definitive history of the Aligned Continuity is here, and mixed opinions abound. Are we into this, or just getting dragged along for the read? Listen in and find out!
We then wrap up our talk of Age of Extinction with some cryptic talk of our "first" look at Drift!
As we move on to toys we discuss the very cool Kid's Logic Optimus Prime that Seibertron.com has an exclusive first look at. Seibertron himself breaks down what to expect out of this toy while the rest of us debate the price point while looking on.
The first look at MP Wheeljack is also upon us. Well, the first silhouette was out when we recorded this and nothing else, so we at least talked about that. At the same time we discuss this little matter of the designer change and whether or not this really matters.
We finish up our toy chat talking about scale, particularly how the new Simplified Predaking busts up other Voyagers. Find out if we'll be adding this beast to our collections.
Our discussion then moves to... Pirates? Yep, in the worst kept secret ever, we now know when and where Botcon 2014 will be held and also part of the theme. Listen up as we decide whether or not to throw this idea overboard or let it into the captain's quarters.
Speaking of conventions, there's another one about to hit the US, right in Seibertron's backyard. We're talking of course about TF Con USA. We lace up our skates and say sorry for this topic in advance over some Kraft dinner, eh? Oh wait, this is the American TF Con. Woopsie there.
We end up with time for one good Listener Question and as usual, the answer will completely not disappoint.
At last we conclude with some Bragging Rights. Early '00s G1 recolors reign supreme as we discuss awesome deals, awesome stores, and some milestones as well.
Thanks everyone for listening and we appreciate the continued support!
