it looks like his door wings are gone which is going to be good for the toy.. since not a single version of bumblebee in toy form had the doors in the accurate position.. 07 concept got it close.
i love the new camaro design too. i'm surprised so many people dislike it.

The racing set is Bumblebee vs Lockdown. Revealed at the UK toy fair.

So what? Lots of Transformers have doors on their shoulders. :/

Otherwise, I'm not overly concerned. I think with the last two abortions, we'd all be a bit naive if we expected an oscar award winning outing. With that said, I'd rather they focused on the important things, like plot and dialogue and not pooping on all the Transformers mythos instead of where they shove doorwings.
Did laugh at matrix pixie dust though.
Eh, what the hey, I have disposible income! Go nuts, Mr. Bay!

They did focus on that in the first and third movies.
instead of where they shove doorwings.
They don't give half a damn where the kibble is, really.

(Bumblebee getting no dialogue in lieu of R2-D2-rip-off beeps didn't help.)
But I digress.
Giant codpiece = Bumblebee has official entered adolescence. Expect some pimples and voice cracking in this fourth movie.

gothsaurus wrote:Hey Just Negare, you forgot the problem of having minimal screen time and dialogue for the actual Transformers... like poor Jazz and Wheeljack, who spoke maybe two lines.
Because Transformers are a plot device in the live action films rather than the central focus. You're lucky any of them spoke at all, really.

R2-D2 beeps were in Prime (which are actually quite a pain in the ass to produce). Bee spoke using a radio in the films.
Both of which is dialogue regardless.

Bumblebee's getting younger!

Thanks for the correction on the beeps. You're right, the movie was more of a buzzy noise. Reminded me of the teachers from the old Charlie Brown specials.

gothsaurus wrote:you think noises = dialogue??? I guess we'll agree to disagree there.
Perhaps, but when he's using actual words (the movies) or his lines are recorded by Frank Welker in the studio and other characters and the audience can understand him fine (Prime for 64 episodes), it pretty much counts as dialogue.

My point is it's difficult to get across CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT if there are no spoken words. The robots read as background characters, which is a bummer to any fan of the franchise... and I didn't pay to see Sam Witwicky: the Movie.
I'm specifically speaking about developing the robots as characters in the movie, not who is getting paid, etc. I'm saying it sucks they don't get more screen time and aren't developed more as characters... and yes, I'm saying it's a bummer they don't get more right-real spoken English wordy words.

I'd like for them to get more screen time as well, I just don't see it happening. The technology to allow them to do that amount of cgi at a reasonable cost just doesn't exist yet.

maybe, but the point is that a lot of people are sick and tired of bumblebee taking so much place.
and the new designs are totally ugly.
sorry I swore but damn I really dont like where they are going with this new revamping...
sure thing: hasbro/takara wont make much money with me with these toys...
