Every two weeks, Seibertron.com brings you a Top 5 list related to all things Transformers written by me, your fellow editor. This week, I am joined by Cobotron. These are our opinions so what matters most is what you guys think of the topic or list, and I hope to see your own lists or comments on omissions and ranking. Let's have fun! All previous lists can be found here.
Top 10 best toys from the Cybertron / Galaxy Force line
Unlike other lists I write for the site, the order here was chosen through a poll I organized a while ago where fans selected which toys they would include in their top list. The more times a toy was chosen, the higher it appears on the list so while I will vouch that all the toys below are excellent and well worth your time, with this line being one of my all time favourites, the order does not come from me. So this will be lighter on words than usual. Let’s get to it.
10. Transformers Cybertron Cybertron Defense Hot Shot (Exigeyser)
I really like how the essence of the previous form of Hotshot is felt here, but at the same time it is a totally new toy. And I really like that knife, along with the loads and loads of weapons.
9. Transformers Cybertron Downshift
What a fantastic alt mode! It’s very old fashioned in terms of robot mode and transformation for a carbot, with the front of the car becoming the chest, but with a nice modern flair. Plus I love that Wheeljack headsculpt.
This transformation is so good, you can find it again on the more recent Leader Megatron from Combiner Wars. It was revolutionary at the time and the fact that the technology to have a rotating turret is still used today comes to show how timeless this toy is. I also like how the feet are formed with alt mode kibble. I really wish we had more of this instead of having barely hidden feet on bots (like with Siege Megatron).
This is just a cool looking toy. Both modes give you the feeling that they are larger than they really are due to some massive proportions. But he carries it very well, and this is another winner in the headsculpt department in the Cybertron line (there are lots of great headsculpts here).
6. Transformers Cybertron Megatron (Master Megatron)/ Galvatron (Master Galvatron)
The Unicron Trilogy had an odd habbit of reversing the colours of Megatron and Galvatron with Megatron having purple and Galvatron being silver/grey. Both decos rock of course but the silver just give it that extra edge. While the robot mode can be a bit clunky with the giant calves, they are a result of a super cool alt mode which looks like what Batman would be driving on Cybertron.
5. Transformers Cybertron Hot Shot/Excellion
This is one of my favourite car Transformers of all time due to how great and different both modes look while being a smart and swift transformation. This efficient and elegant transformation is the basis for many of the combiner limbs we got once Combiner Wars started. And of all the great headsculpts in the line, this is the one that I feel tops them all. Plus he is a really neat homage to Hot Rod.
4. Transformers Cybertron Vector Prime
This is my personal favourite from the line and it is the one toy from this line I would deem essential to a collection. Nothing like this has been done since with a very different space ship mode that leans more towards the fantasy side of science fiction. He is also gorgeously adorned in clockwork detail and has one of the best weapon integrations of all time.
3. Transformers Cybertron Starscream
It is really too bad that the voyager Starscream toy in his show colours was never released by Hasbro, but at least fans got to experience this excellent mold in other colours, such as a very Thrust like burgundy and in blue with Dirge.
I really like how this is a full-on planet former where the alt mode is a sphere and yet it gives us a really nice robot mode which does not feel confine to its alt mode to define its proportions (unlike that never released Unicron toy). That’s especially surprising given how basic the transformation is. And yet we end up with two very different looking modes including a drop dead gorgeous robot mode.
This is one of the best Optimus Prime toys out there. When it came out, it was a new design with some nice homages. You have the cab robot like in G1 and you can combine it with the trailer, like Power Master Prime, to make a super robot. While the articulation is lacking, it has fun play features, looks imposing and has this nice chunky feel to him.
Greetings Seibertronians! Today we have new galleries to share with you, created by site owner, Seibertron, and feature two of Flame Toys recent releases, Furai Bumblebee and Thundercracker.
Flame Toys hold an official licence from Hasbro/Takara Tomy to be able to produce these highly detailed plastic model kits. They are highly posable but not transformable, and often feature designs straight from the comics.
First up, is Furai Bumblebee, armed with a pistol, his trusty hammer and a helicopter back-pack, enabling him to take the fight to the skies.
What do you think of these kits? Will you be taking the plunge with Flame Toys models? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!
The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast decided to record the day before the Tokyo Toy Show because they completely forgot it was happening this week. Scotty P and Megatronus meet up to discuss everything except all the latest news as a result, but still have a fun time going through topics like Hound, the latest fan vote and much more. Stick around for the special topic questioning how much more Bumblebee we can all take in the future.
Episode #225 "The Overexposure of Bumblebee" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Scotty P shares some quick in-hand impressions of War for Cybertron Siege's Deluxe Class Brunt.
Our special topic for the episode arrives, which we've dubbed "The Overexposure of Bumblebee". We ponder whether this character is being over-used in an inconsistent fashion throughout recent Transformers media and if this is causing long-term harm to the brand's storytelling output. This is not just another conversation about the number of Bumblebee toys available on the shelf, so tune in and let us know your thoughts by replying to this news post.
Bragging Rights close out another episode with Megatronus binging for the first time in a while.

According to a new article from Comicbook.com some customers who received their Transformers Bumblebee 4K Ultra HD DVD's have been reporting audio sync issues where the sound is not matching the picture. Paramount has received enough complaints to issue a formal statement which follows:
"In response to Bumblebee UHD’s picture and audio sync issues being observed on some playback platforms, we have determined we can tighten their alignment to remedy the audio sync lag issue. Audio sync lag was observed primarily with the English ATMOS track, but we are addressing all the audio tracks on the disc regardless. The majority of consumers may never notice the sync issue, but unfortunately, the audio sync lag is exacerbated by viewing the film via the “ARC” (Audio Return Channel) port on TVs that output to a sound-bar or receiver. Compliance amongst TV manufacturer ARC implementation is not standardized, thus different set-ups will exhibit different and varying playback behavior, even if played back on the same set-up multiple times. A replacement disc is already ready that will align the picture and audio sync better, but do note, it still may not remedy all the ARC playback set-ups in the market – we suggest consulting your manufacturer’s documentation on how to align picture and audio sync if still experiencing lag."
The article further states that faulty DVD's are encouraged to include their shipping information and mail their defective UHD discs to the below address to receive the replacement disc free of charge.

Under investigation
Here are the issues reported that we've been investigating:
Long loading times during the first boot after a fresh install or a version update. Loading time goes back to normal after a restart.
Slash & Rippersnapper tend to chase Outpost Bots after finishing their abilities even though those Bots are far away.
Inspiring charge effect doesn’t apply to all bots.
We are investigating why in some instances the effect doesn’t apply.
These are just some examples of the reports that we've received from you and we continue to work hard to improve your experience with the game every day.
We would like to thank you for your time and patience, and if you have any issues to report, please get in touch with us here: support@transformersearthwars.com. Alternatively, you can reach out to us in game via Menu > Community > Contact Support.
Bug Fix
The following bug Fix is coming to the game soon!
Sky Lynx and Blitzwing can’t do a second explosion after igniting a target.
In order for Flamestrike to cause an explosion, the target needs to be under the effect of either Cloud or to be Ignited (Blue flame). Due to the bug fix of making the duration of ignition be the stated 6 secs, the second explosion will only be possible when SL or BW are close to the target. Exploding the Shroud has not been affected and it should be possible to chain a number of explosions while the Shroud is active.

This just in from Teletran-1: New detailed video views with transformations of Springer, Refraktor, Brunt, Red Alert, and Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime! Thanks to Hasbro.com we have some new videos showing the transformations of each of the next wave of Transformers War for Cybertron: Seige figures. These versions will hopefully be representative of the final product, and given the debate over Red Alert's colors and detailing this might answer some of those questions. These provide clearer looks at Red Alerts rifle/axe functionality and Springer's weapons and how his sword works. Do any of the videos cement your need for these or do they change your opinion for the negative? Is your Trypticon technically complete without Brunt? Take a view and share your thoughts with the Seibertron crew.

It's the Twincast/Podcast! Starring ScottyP with special guests Counterpunch and Tigertrack! Yayyyyyyy.
Ahem. This episode of the Twincast finds the crew returning to our recent toy roots with another dive into classics and now driving the bus to henkei-land where a brand new way of collecting 'the best of the best' began. We also look into thee, for some, new Siege Leader Optimus Prime, and talk about the current comic series with possible spoilers from issue #5.
Episode #223 "Symmetrical Docking" is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's the list of what we banter about:
CP and TT have SIege Leader Optimus Prime in-hand. Should ScottyP cancel his order and send it back to where it came from or is it a worthy piece to add to the collection? Also, how does one get around specifically targeted stores that hold to street dates (like has been found to happen with this bad boy).
Takara Tomy Henkei takes collecting your classics to a whole new level. Is the chrome just shiny fluff, or do some of these represent ultimate versions of your classics toys? And what about those store exclusives and KOs?
Hasbro Universe 2.0 - Onslaught and Silverbolt - Combiner leaders that don't combine - Are the individual characters enough to warrant this type of release?
And.... CYCLONUS - Just the best new figure in a long time? How does it hold up now?
Prowl, Hound, Ironhide, Ratchet, Jetfire, Grapple, Inferno, and Galvatron (the supposed to be voyager that had a third walking tank mode planned). Sure was a mixed bag... and we didn't even talk about Cheetor or Dinobot.
Transformers (the bold new era) Issue #5 came out. The three chatter-bots discuss their favorite moments so far, and what they think might be developing in further plots...SPOILERS ARE PRESENT for those avoiding, and there's a review of it, too. This is approximately 1:24 - 1:39 on the time.
Braggers Brag, but they have rights, too. And we brag a little bit about our recent-ish purchases.
One of these is the IRONFIST that ScottyP is talking about...and one is not even close.

Once a year around this time of year, I post listings of items I've accumulated from collections I've purchased to sell in the Seibertron.com Store on eBay. 2 years ago I sold off some large lots of vintage Masters of the Universe and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures. Last year I sold off several large lots of G1 and modern Transformers. This year, I'm going through other brands I've accumulated over the past decade of buying collections. Without further ado, here are the current auctions that we have posted from Star Wars Transformers, Gobots, Voltron, Sectaurs, Thundercats, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Masters of the Universe. Happy bidding!
