Chapter 4.6 End Game – Prime VS Prime The Final Battle.
Omega Prime swings Optimus around throwing him through a few trees that were still left standing through the Transformers battle. The cracking and splintering of the trees echo in the valley. Omega charges after Optimus firing his blaster wildly trying not to give him time to recover. The Autobot leader tucks himself together and braces for impact as he hits the ground.
“The end is nigh Optimus, the future starts now!” Omega screams at him with a more menacing Megatron voice then Prime voice. “Embrace your future!”
“Never, my future is mine alone to shape.” Optimus drags his hand along the ground in a crouched position then flips himself up onto his feet facing Omega. “You will fail just as Megatron always has. Your future will not come to pass.” Optimus charges at Omega engaging in melee combat. Optimus holds his ground against a superior adversary.
“Embrace your future, think of all the good you will accomplish. Our race under one rule as it was always meant to be.” Omega punches Optimus across the face scraping his metal face plate.
“No, I will not deceive and destroy others as you have. There are better ways to obtain peace.” Optimus retaliates by back handing Omega.
“Oh, like the way you have been going for centuries now?”
Optimus tightens his fits. “Your madness ends here, what you strive for will not come to pass.”
“Wrong Prime, it already has.” Omega points towards the Decepticon leader who battles the other Autobots. “You see, Supreme has already fallen and to save his spark from Megatron you will have to merge with it.”
“No.” Optimus leaps towards Omega knocking him to the ground and struggling against his foes superior strength.
“You can’t win against me, I am stronger, faster and smarter then you.”
“You may be two of those but you are not the last.” Optimus rolls back kicking Omega up into the air stealing his blaster from his hands and fires. The Transformer screams in pain as the blaster fire rips through him. “If you are stronger then me then so is your weapon, where mine would not do much damage yours does.”
“Even so…” Omega clutches his wounds, his nanobots working slower to repair the blasters damage. “…my future is still secure, you will be me this day.”
“Never.” Optimus knocks Omega to the ground. “I will do what I have to do for the greater good.” He slams the blaster against Omega’s chest.
“See, it begins even now to stop me you must destroy me or embrace your future now.” Omega spreads his arms out. "Do what you know must be done."
Optimus closes is visual receptors as he pulls the trigger hearing Omega scream as the blast sends the Autobot flying.
The battling Transformers all cease fire hearing the scream as well as a brilliant blast with small energy particles rising up into the air.
“What was that?” Seaspray asks.
“Dunno but I sure hope it wasn’t Optimus.” Hotrod responds transforming into vehicle mode and speeds off.
"Wait…" Prowl says after Hotrod.
Megatron takes the moment of distraction as his opportunity and darts back for Omega Supreme to obtain his spark.
“Stop right there dirt bag.” Concept says.
“You.” Megatron laughs. “You think you can stop me?”
“No, but this guy can.”
Megatron feels Supreme starting to move. “Impossible, what have you done?”
“I fixed him. You loose Megatron.”
“You will rue this day!” The Decepticon leader screams as he retreats.
“Goodbye and good riddance.” Seaspray comments as he walks up to Concept. “You’re okay.”
“Hey, you can never keep an Autobot down.” He smiles as the sun gleams off his new emblem.
Hotrod squeals his tires and transforms back to robot mode as he reaches Optimus Prime. “Hey boss bot, you okay?”
“Physically, yes.” He responds looking at the now lifeless Omega Prime.
“What happens now? Did we stop the future from happening?”
“Only time will tell Hotrod, but we have two new friends to thank for helping us in adverting it today.” Optimus says as Concept and Phoenix meet up with them followed by the rest of the Autobots. “We are aware of what may come and can take measures in preventing it. For now our future is secure and continues on as it should. In a battle of good versus evil.”
“So, what about them?” Hotrod asks pointing at the Decepticons.
“This battle was not intentionally brought to them. We leave and fight another day. I hope Concept and Phoenix will join us?”
“For sure…I mean it would be an honor Optimus Prime.” Concept says. “But right now we need to take care of Omega Prime. Part of Megatron was in him.”
“Then we will supply you with whatever you need.”
“All we need is a ship.”
“Then one is yours. Prowl?”
“Yes sir?”
“Make sure they get a ship.”
“Thank you Optimus.” Concept shakes the great Autobot leader’s hand.
“What happens to you now? Will you go back to your own time?” Seaspray asks.
“No, we’ll take the others somewhere far, maybe to another galaxy and find a sun or black hole to eject them into. We’ll be back, there won’t be anything for us to return home for, if we were successful it may be all different. Here, we have new friends and a new purpose.”
"You will always have a place with us when you decide to return as do you Aerialbots."
"Thank you Optimus, but I think we will return to our own time and face what is next." Silverbolt responds.
"As you wish."
The Autobots watch as the Aerialbots transform and take off up into the atmosphere.
Megatron watches the Aerialbots from a safe distance with what remains of his Decepticons.
"I knew they could not be trusted." Blitzwing comments already wishing he could take back his comment.
"How are the others?" Megatron asks, ignoring his comment.
"Repairable."
"Good. Let us leave here, we will return later when the Autobots have all left and salvage what we can." Megatron begins to head off.
"Do you want us to follow?" Soundwave asks.
"No, I want some time by myself, anyone follows me and they will feel my wrath."
"Understood."
Moments later Concept and Phoenix board a small Autobot ship with the remains of Omega Prime, and the others secure in stasis pods. They wave to their new friends and allies as Phoenix fires the engines.
"We're not really coming back are we?"
"I don't know Phoenix."
Seaspray steps forward placing his hand on his Autobot symbol in a sign of brotherhood. Concept returns the gesture as the ships thruster engage an propel them into the atmosphere.
“It’s never easy to say goodbye to new friends.” Optimus says as he places his giant hand on Seaspray’s shoulder.
"I felt like I finally had a true friend."
"I know what you mean, but you have us all here."
Seaspray looks up at Optimus.
“I'm sure they’ll be back someday.”
