I am on the fence about this show. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. It is something of a mixed bag for me. I've been watching it slowly as it isn't something that has drawn me to the point I have to see the next episode. Maybe it's because each episode seems disconnected from each other, like you could watch them in any order and it would be fine.

As the show continues, more and more callbacks to previous episodes are made in later episodes to the point that several episodes must be watched in their proper chronological order in order to fully grasp the bigger story of the season.

it's one of those where as you go along, it is getting better. I really enjoyed it, so hopefully others do too

I'm still in the early episodes, episode 9. I'm going to watch the whole thing, it just might take me a while. It hasn't drawn me in like other versions of Transformers has. I want it to be awesome and look forward to the later stuff people are talking about.

It might be best to watch it at a steady pace, like one or two episodes per day, instead of trying to marathon it all at once.

Hasbro Studios seems to have it tough with the first seasons of their TF cartoons, with Prime season 1 lacking in enough of a clear vision or direction being an obvious example. Of the three TF cartoons that HS has done so far, Rescue Bots turned out to be the one with the strongest first season, having the most focus of the three shows' first seasons.

Season one was ok but I would like to know what is happening with the old "Prime" crew especially Bulkhead and Knock-out. Plus I would love to see the threat of Airachnid and her Zombie Insecticons to rear their ugly heads.

In the newly released comic, I just found out that Megatron has returned. This could mean he he will definitely return in season 2. I do hope that he does. Do you?

I don't want him back. He disbanded the cons in the end of Prime and he left off to go into exile or something else lifechanging. I wish he would stay away. if he does come back, I only want it to be so he can stop Steeljaw

Because of how he`s portrayed in the comic, it looks like that he will change back to his original self.

Granted, I haven't seen the comic yet (just read issue 2), but that sounds exactly like what Megatronus told Steeljaw in the TV series season 1. Can you provide screenshots? Did "Megatron" look like he did at the end of Predacons Rising?

I have not seen issue 3. Haven't seen anything for this months comics. Megatronus was in the TV series, not Megatron. 2 very different characters. And I'm pretty sure the comics are based on the series but not directly involved. The other autobots have not shown up and while it is possible they will show up in season 2, I really don't think a comic Megatron appearance could be considered evidence of the TV show having him appear.

psj, I have been looking around. Nowhere can I find a reference to Megatron or Megatronus being in #3, nor in the December solicitions. How you get stuff about the comic I have no idea. you needs to direct link us or something. Either way, I stand by my original statement: I do not want Megs to come back. He is gone doing something else, and he is done with his evil ways (unless things changed). Let Steeljaw keep going as he is. Leave Megs out.

Yes I am saying Steeljaw is lying. The DESCRIPTION says he is deceiving the vehicons. So yes.

And please provide a source for this confirmation of Megatron being in season 2. I cannot find anything related to that subject

D-Maxmius_Prime, Steeljaw's crew and the vehicons are enemies? What's going on here? They're all Decepticons to begin with. No doubt about that. But why Steeljaw made enemies with the Vehicons? Is this really because that Steeljaw's crew are animals and that the Vehicons are humans? In this series, Transformers who are humans are portrayed as good guys whereas those who are animal are portrayed as bad guys.

And as for Megatron himself, I couldn't find the official source that matches this description. But I will tell you this, a user who owns a Transformers-based site on Facebook, recently told other users that he spoke with Hasbro and that Hasbro that Megatron is indeed in the series although we don't know which side will he be on.

Steeljaw has to lie to the Vehicons to get them to work for him because they are loyal only to Megatron, not Steeljaw. By falsely claiming to be working for Megatron, Steeljaw can coerce the Vehicons to do what Steeljaw wants. That's all.

And as for the "Megatron in season 2" thing, there is no way Hasbro would ever say something like that, and "some guy on Facebook" is not a credible source.

You know, this actually caused me to do some research. Back in the 80's as kids, we used to tell all sorts of stories about supposed toys we had seen, or TV episodes, that never really happened (some were just lies, others were the result of mistaken memory). I thought with information being as prevalent as it is, that "Friend of a Friend" stories would have become a thing of the past, but evidently, they thrive now more than ever on social media.
