I'm sure the American version will be awesome for what it is, in his own category. However, quality wise, the Japanese one will always be the superior one. If you are willing to pay the price, of course. I'm plenty satisfied with my Japanese Shurikenjin, Bison King, and Paonmaru.

Still, I'm looking forward what exclusive American zords they will make. Because they always do. Like maybe a all black and gold repaint of the main megazord or some crazy new "riders". Even I may be tempted with some of these exclusives if found on sale.

There is this cannon thing that plugs into the throne. There might be a zord builder connection point somewhere on it as well to plug onto a shoulder joint, but I have not seen anyone do that.

I dont mean to make anyone jealous, but I got the Ninja Steel Mgazord today. I can confirm that it is of the same plastic quality as the Dino Charge zords. The plastic feels great, very solid. And he stands very well. He does not have any standing issue whatsoever. My main problem with him are the zord builder ports on the train in train mode, but thats a sacrifice for added functionality and the train doesnt look that great anyway so I dont mind as much. And the dragon looks really cool as a zord. I dont really have any issues with this zord at all. Everything is nice and tight and fits well and looks good, especially in megazord mode.

Well, Super Sentai 2017 has been somewhat revealed. We knew the name a bit ago, Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger, and now we have some leaks from the toy catalog.










Details from Tokunation, probably taken from Dukemon.

This Sentai will consist of a remarkable NINE members! The group will apparently be split into 2 teams:

Main Team
*Shishi (Lion) Red
*Ookami (Wolf) Blue
*Oushi (Bull) Black
*Chameleon Green
*Kajiki (Swordfish) Yellow
Supporting Team
*Sasori (Scorpion) Orange
*Washi (Eagle) Pink
*Tenbin (Libra) Gold
*Hebitsukai(Orphiuchus) Silver

All KyuuRangers will henshin using the Seiza Blaster, the device mounted on their arms. The KyuuRangers’ powers are enhanced by orb-like devices called KyuTamas which will be sold in special sets.

The KyuuRangers have a signature sidearm called Kyuu TheWeapon which takes a unique configuration for each Ranger!

Finally, the KyuuRangers’ personal Mecha are known as Voyagers! This catalog shows us the first 5 DX Voyager toys-

*Ookami Voyager
*Oushi Voyager
*Chameleon Voyager
*Kajiki Voyager

All 5 combine to form the mighty KyuuRenOh! This Mecha Combo will have multiple configurations depending on which Voyagers are used by the team.

Both deal with constellations, but astronomy is a real science about studying objects in space, (Stars, planets, etc.) while astrology is a pseudoscience dealing mostly in divination.

Constellations are used to determine positions in the sky in astronomy, for instance, Alpha Centauri is located in the Centaurus sign, Betelgeuse is in Orion, and right now Jupiter has just passed Libra, heading towards Virgo.

Saban will probably make another two of them women, as is tradition.

They haven't messed with genders since Wild Force aired in 2002, even in cases like Dino Charge where there's been room for another lady on the team. I'm not holding my breath that Saban, should they choose to adapt this over Zyuohger, will do it this time.

Anyway the failure of a reasonable gender ratio lies on Toei's shoulders, and it's not confined to Sentai, but I'm not going to let this devolve into a rant about gender roles in toei toku, so I'll leave it at general disappointment and go back to being eager for a female green ranger.

Please, cut out the identity politics. It's what's poisoning our western civilisation now. Fortunately, Super Sentai is Japanese and the Japanese care mostly about good characters and great stories.

I have enough of the "token representatives" over here. The show must have 50/50 males females. Must have an andicaped. Must have X minirities. Mu8st have a gay, must have a trans, must have an attack helicopter. For fok's milksake, our entertainment industry is now one big emo TUMBLR blog.

I don't mind a show having a character that is "special". As long that it feel natural and is not shoved down my throat. When I watch a show and I don't notice the "token characters", it mean that it worked and there is no problems. Unfortunately, too many times, I have the impression of watching a "zoo". It's laughable... Like the upcoming Star Wars Rogue One. I will go watch it with an open mind but if there is just ONE character who shout that it's proud to be "non binary", I'll storm out of the theatre.

I'll stop ranting by saying I just hope Japanese shows and anime don't see any money pandering to SJW and special snowflakes. Let just them keep producing great content without caring about the cancer that is identity politics.

Unless the team is ENTIRELY female... and sexy... Love'em sexy super heroine teams. My favorite being the magical girl variant. Kick asses but in a very feminine, flowery way. Sailor Moon being the best of the bunch. Seriously, legs lovers, go watch some Sailor Moon!
