It is...what you should hope for is that it gets even distribution unlike Starscream where some stores (and states) got none while others were flooded with the damn things leading to their going on clearence and the scalpers able to buy them for $35 or less and turn around and sell them on eBay at a $50 markup.

i jusy noticed something not big difernce but this us version of skywarp has the icons on his wings facing up but the takara version in bot mode has the decepticon logo facin upside down

Your right, Now he won't match the previously released Starscream.

Crazy! I thought they were doing Thundercracker instead. Weird. Strangely this doesn't look quite as good as the Takara version, but I may end up buying this one if I can get it for the right price.

1 year later....I just picked up for $30 at the Walmart in Tanten, Mass. They had 4 of'm and they were half price.

I picked this guy up too..I had been holding off waiting for the price to go down but alas i caved in..Dear god I wish I hadn't. I ened up having to take the 1st back to walmart since the nose cone snapped right off and one of the chest thrusters fell off whoile removing some of the twist ties ( total about 15) The second one had similar nose cone issues and the base had chips all over it..All in the figure is awesome but he QC on thois figure is atrocious..buyers remorse has set in..Ah well i figured since I have 3 of them now I might as well repaint em!

Yeah, i'm not gonna open mine. I was tempted, but naaaah...If i break him, then its a pain to fix'm. I have a broken transmetal BW megatron that i'm still pretty distraught over.

I could'nt afford him at $60, so when i saw the discount lastnight, i was pretty thrilled over it.
