A routine visit yielded some very interesting and odd sightings such as leftover Age of Extinction toys. The most notable is a Leader Optimus Prime at only 19.99$ cdn (16.12$ US). The walmart exclusive one step Stinger was also found which is as random as you can get, especially since this was never found in stores in Quebec, Canada (where these sightings are from), and had to be ordered online. The inclusion of Stinger leads to the conclusion that this is probably overstock from Walmart.
Age of Extinction Toys massively discounted at Winners (TJ Maxx in Canada)

Thread title is incorrect. Winners in Canada is still called Winners. There's one across the street where I live!
Winners is TJ Maxx in the USA, not Canada.

I didn't say they were shelf warmers, just said they were warming a shelf.
As in warming the bench.

Still, an odd phrase to use in this context seeing as how changing the syntax means something totally different in this fandom.

Wave 2 just showed up in my area (rejoice!), and I've seen wave 3 Legends class figures... crossing my fingers the Protectobots show up in the next month.

Megatronus, are you gonna double dip and get the takara one too? I only want to get either one but the current price of the takara one (the one I would rather have) is just too much for me due to its extra exclusivity factor. SO I might settle for Hasbro's.

I'm getting 2 sets of the Hasbro versions to open - one to display in combined mode, another to display in robot mode teams - and then the Takara versions for MISB (except I'm getting 2 Defensors so I can enjoy deluxe Groove). I'm a sucker for box sets, and Takara more often than not really nails the packaging.
Sigh.

Well to be fair, Takara's packaging for Superion is amazing and the window packaging with flap makes it one of the better items to display in MISB

For now, here is a slight discount (not enough to consider this a great deal) on some TRU exclusives. What is interesting is that this is not widespread, it just affects the insecticons and YOTG optimus:
