US Megatron re-issue?

Now here´s an interesting rumor. We all know that if Megatron was to be reissued in the US, it would require some changes. However, according to a source at Hasbro, an altered G1 Megatron may make it´s way to Toys R Us in the not so distant future. More on this as soon as it´s available.

UPDATE!

At Botcon 2002 Hasbro´s reps were asked about the possibility of the G1 Megatron reissue. After a slides of a horrible pink/orange Megatron the audience was told that even THAT was not up to current toy safety standards. So, it looks like this reissue´s chances are DEAD.
