Yes, since like February. The news Flashwave actually dropped was that it is actually in stock at BBTS, not on pre-order.

I bet they get a lot of negative reviews from people thinking they're somehow getting the Target exclusive 10 pack at this price even though it's obviously the wrong photos.
Emerje
I already know of 2 people who are planning on trying to get a free 10-pack from Amazon or a refund without product return

I'm going to be waiting too, for some other reasons considering when Omega is coming out compared to some things happening elsewhere. Hopefully he's still available in the new year considering his late release

This makes me oddly warm and fulfilled in my cold, lightless spark.
Mwahahaha
But I actually dropped the News Notice late Friday Night, after cancelling my Amazon PreOrder. Although given the rate at how quickly BBTS rolls things out the door, Amazon's October release date might still have been faster.
I was actually half afraid by the time the News went live BBTS would have sold out.

Lore Keeper wrote:So, I jumped on the news as soon as I read this last night. I ordered Omega, then my excitement quickly turned to dread as I realized a big issue. In my rush, I forgot that the stored address is my old address! Their customer support isn't open until Monday, so now I'm praying I can get this fixed before a $160 toy gets sent to the wrong state!
Can't you just cancel it, change your address and re-order it, I'm pretty sure they don't work until early monday morning? Also, I think you can still edit the order details until it ships, give it a try

Lore Keeper, I wouldn't sweat it. The have pretty ridiculous work hours. Something like 11 AM to 3 PM, and they usually don't ship anything until at least 3 days after you hit the ship button. I bet you have ample time to get a message through to them.

Bot and ape modes are magnificent, but that jet mode. Dafok dey did?
A big square with wings and a nosecone. Like those TR "cassettes".
This sucker will buy Siege Apeface anyway, but this make the G1 original even more precious. Plus my desire for a MP Apeface is stronger than before.
BTW, the ape feet at the back, I tilt them back one click for them to act as proper extra tailfins.

The jet deco could use some tweaking, the cockpit area, but otherwise they got everything else mostly right, it seems.
Re-posting my Apeface chart --
There's a thread here titled "The TF you want but you know HasTak will NEVER make" and I must say that it doesn't apply to me. They're making everything that I've wanted, it's almost as though they're reading and working off my wishlist, maybe even in the order of the requests. I'm sure Snapdragon and the remaining Autobot Targetmasters will follow.
I loved looking at the battle scenes on the back of the packages.
Getting all the characters/toys I didn't have as a kid.

Siege have the bot mode.
And both have an acceptable ape mode.

Usually Amazon themselves don't get pictures (obviously the description says Road Patrol). Unfortunately THIS being a Target exclusive, its probably not a mater of *Hey you shipped me the wrong thing*, best case scenario, you would probably just get your $10 refunded, not really a chance of getting this actual item for $10...

You'll just get the off road patrol. You can see what people got in the images in the comments section.

But extra points for something like this --
BTW transformed him into his "individual" mode today for the first time. Not exactly sure what it's supposed to be (a space ship?) but was impressed with all the tabs.

Wait, you mean there’s not glitter on the Cybertronian battlefields?

That said, this set is fun, a lot of fun. The different colors really set it apart from what I see as the blandness and just plain boring nature of the Siege line.
I love it, couldn't recommend it more.

I wasnt saying it as a bad thing, part of me likes it, part of me doesn't and then there is the part of me that would totally be rolling around in glitter when ever I get the chance to do so. Thats why I dont have pritt stick in the house.
(If they ever do licenced botbots...)

For me too. Look more like candle wax than anything else. It's weird. Let's hope the in-hand pictures are better.
I still can't get over that garbage "jet" mode, but the PERFECT robot mode and that rocking ape mode more than compensate for that flaw.

Takara's stock photos of Jetfire had this effect too. Looked a lot darker than the figure actually is.

I've been noticing this a lot since brand unification, Takara's stock photos of general releases seem to be darker and not always good representations of the final product. Generally Takara does better stock photos in terms of showing off the figure, but Hasbro seems to do better at balancing the lighting to make it look closer to the final product

A bit annoyed with the robot arm clearly hanging on the monkey leg, but i guess it is G1 accurate, so that is where everyone wants it to be. Eh, oh well.

I think Apeface continues to look good, save for the white looking weird in that lighting and his ape neck being mistransformed by the looks of it. I'm still a bit hesitant to use Takara's stock photos as proof of final color schemes though, after the unpainted guns they showed with Magnus and Brunt.

We will have to wait for the in-hand pictures to she his real colors. Maybe that candle-wax white will not be so bad.
Also, after playing around with Siege Ratchet, I really want Crosswise and Ironhide. That mold is awesome in it's simplicity.

That is DEFINITELY a pearlescent white on Apeface. Only pearlescent plastic has that sheen. It should look just fine in person. I mean, it looks great on this guy:
As for the chunky jet mode... Since they were going for resemblance to the G1 design, there was no helping it on account of the twonk who designed the original giving him oblong beast limbs. A larger wingspan would probably help the looks, but price point strictures are a thing.,, All the same, Apeface is still a "Shut up and take my money" toy for me.
Speaking of "Shut up and take my money"...
Recently acquired Springer, and I find him a joy to look at and play with.
As far as I'm concerned regarding Springer: SIEGE Rules, Thrilling 30 drools!
Well, okay, the transforming rotor sword is nice. But occasionally lending that to SIEGE Springer is the ONLY thing keeping me from putting the T30 version (which I only bought as filler) up for trade.

What about Holo Mirage?Stargrave wrote:Shockwave stands in solidarity as the only Siege figure to not have red on him. I’m telling you Siege is like 70% red.
You're not. But it's actually to be expected with Spasma!Stormshot_Prime wrote:Anyone else notice that bizarre double sided Headmaster? Or am I just seeing things?
Part of the Horrorcons' design schtick was that their Headmaster partners formed both the robot head and the beast head. However, the need to be interchangeable with other Titan Masters means that SIEGE Spasma can't fit the full gorilla muzzle on his back, so he only has the optic band and plugs in to complete the gorilla head (much like Revolver does for TR Six Shot's wolf head, only even more important). This also keeps the gorilla head from being undersized.
