I keep asking myself "Where's the kibble!?" when I look at the new TF:Prime toys. Very impressed.

I'll most likely still get it, but so far, I'm liking the Deluxe more.

WTF Hasbro?!
You make it look that amazing, you even give him a nice metalic dark gray plastic for the metal parts in his stomach and then you go and ruin it all buy using the milky gray plastic for his legs, chest and weapons?
For efs sake.....

I know, right?

The figure would have looked awesome but for the skipped paint apps. This whole missing paint thing has gotten WAY out of hand.

I suggest that this be a major subject at the next BotCon Hasbro panel. It's blatent cheapness as well as laziness. Japan can get paint, but we in the US and Europe can't?

(Plus I'll bet you dollars to lugnuts that the sword blade in the figure's left hand is made of "garbage plastic" (aka PVC) and will be deformed out of shape right out of the box)

i think the voyager is perfect (mold-wise) .. but i agree with you guys about the missing paint, i'll probably paint them myself, but that's not the point. it should be there already.

while bringing this issue up at botcon SHOULD be done.. no one will do it. but if someone does, they'll just say that they want to keep the figures affordable for people.. however to me, it seems like the prices steadily keep going up while quality steadily goes down. it sucks.

I guess I'm spoiled from seeing it up close at NYCC, part of me was thinking about it not being the final paint job. Lots of wishful thing, I guess. but honestly it still looks awesome without the paint.

Looking at those pics I'd guess that the sword is made out of that stuff. It seems to already be slightly warped.

Ah like it

As far as the paint goes, at this point I'd just settle for a confirmed release date. Preferably sooner rather than later.

Taking all previously mentioned things into consideration, I am rather conflicted as to which one to get. I guess I will wait to see what the Voyager Megatron looks like.

Same place it always goes, the Hasbro void of test shots and promo pics. Toys almost never get released with initially-planned paint apps intact anymore. It wouldn't be so bad if they'd choose a better shade of silver plastic instead of that off-white crap they're so fond of using.

Really digging him so far. my only complaint is that this line likes to hide the faces behind battle masks. I mean, in the show he barely has it on. other than that this is a very well designed fig, much like the rest of the line

The Voyager blows the Deluxe out of the water. The paint apps might not be that great, the the proportions are way better and there's no giant backpack.
