Transformers Prime Episode 23, "One Shall Fall" US Air Date

"One Shall Fall"... and yet, no one does.

While it is a little better to hear just the second half of that overused line, it's still overused!

Also, wouldn't it make MORE Sense if this one was called "One shall stand" and the NEXT one was Called "One shall Fall"?
Just some food for thought. I think they need new lines...though in the fifth episode, or fouth, can't remember exactly wich, when Ratchet Say, "Than by all means Optimus, Light our Darkest Hour", Gave me chills, for two reasons.
1. It was used APPROPRIATELY, not just because its a famous line
2. It sounded like he was heralding something that happended in an older time...

Depends on what goes on in the next episode. Like ,if someone actually DOES fall, then it would fit better. Still, going that route would just make this line even MORE overused.

EXACTLY! Ratchet's use of that line in that context was perfect! It wasn't forced, it wasn't one that has been run into the ground, and it wasn't used in the same way as it was originally. It was a unique and creative take of a classic line that flowed smoothly and wasn't shoved down our throats.

"One shall stand, one shall fall" needs to take a break. If it can be retired, great. Let it have an honorable end. But it needs to make room for more creativity. Why, I'd even not mind if they changed it to the Japanese version of that line ("Either I die or you die") instead.

Shame, I wanted to see what all the hubbub was about, but the video was removed due to HASBRO crackin' the whip.

Every time a bot named Optimus reads from the Covenant of Primus, something monumentally bad happens. Would someone get that book away from him already?!

I have a suspicious feeling that 24 and 25 will both be cliffhangers to lead up to the conclusion in 26. Or even 26 might end on a (milder) cliffhanger to better kick off the events of season 2's first episode, 27.

What relation do cliffhangers have with anime?

The Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory, Zone, Beast Wars II, Beast Wars Neo, RiD, Armada, Energon, and Cybertron were all anime, and yet they didn't have that many cliffhangers (can't say much for BWII and Neo, since I haven't much of them yet).

Plus, unless Hasbro Studios suddenly stops making Prime and gives the reigns to someone like Toei or TMS, they cannot just "turn" Prime into an anime.

today was supposed to be a new episode, the teletoon commercial even said as much but they ended up airing a rerun. i'm wondering if they're purposely gonna wait and try and even the schedual out with america so we're more in synch. it sucks if thats the case since the last was "to be continued" but yeah, how annoying. lol

What I am curious the most about is what is Megatron trying to do and what does he mean it was hear all along.

If it is Unicron how can Unicron be hidden on the Earth, Unicron is the size of a planet.

When I look closer at the picture of the Glowing Purple Eyes it is hard to tell if is Galvatron or Unicron himself.

That would mean or could mean that if it is Galvatron then Galvatron would be a seperated being not an upgraded Megatron not unless he somehow upgrades later.

From what I am getting Megatron has been seeing the future somehow.

I hate that this Optimus Prime can not fight good like with previous Primes could the most hardcore of all the Primes is ROTF Movie-verse Prime.

I hope sense they mentioned certain characters they will be in Prime later on such as Perceptor and The Fallen were both mentioned.

Cant wait for Season 2 this November.

The Covenant was already reintroduced in Exodus.

some are thinking that Earth is Unicron. I myself don't want to think this until further info comes out.

WATCH the episode. Optimus is VERY hardcore in this episode.
