Shout! Factory has uploaded a trailer for the Transformers Prime: Darkness Rising - DVD. The 5-part original miniseries has been seamlessly edited together for the first time as a movie presentation, and will be available on December 6th 2011. The disc will also feature bonus content including animatics and a special look at concept designs for the characters and backgrounds. This title is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.

Again, not digging the DVD quality, and if the DVDs are 4:3 like this video, that's just sad. I'm interested to see how good this editing is though.

Our friends at Shout! Factory dropped by to let us know they have uploaded three new promo clips for the December 6th release of Transformers Prime: Darkness Rising on DVD. The 5-part original miniseries has been seamlessly edited together for the first time as a movie presentation, and will feature bonus content including animatics and a special look at concept designs for the characters and backgrounds. Darkness Rising is a much better movie than what the Master of Disaster gave us on the silver screen...

I normally would wait for the box set, but due to that I needed a second part to a Christmas present to a beloved Transformer fan who has not seen Transformers: Prime, I took the chance of purchasing this for her to get her to finally watch it. I've been trying to get her into TF: Prime for some time now and this may be the way.

Everywhere I went yesterday had a spot cleared out for it on the shelf but they didn't have any out, When I asked if they had any in stock all I got were either blank stares or they scanned the bar code on the price tag in front of its spot and they didn't even have it in stock yet.
