I am hoping we will get more cardboard backdrops in the future.

The SIEGE Prowl set could use a couple more parts: A triangular piece that plugs into the hole on top of his gun, and a larger, notched triangular piece that connects to the underside.

A tad late seeing this thread but thought i would show off Siege Starscream and Soundwave. I really like the addition to Starscream, making it look more like the Tetrajet, rather than a Viper off of Battlestar Galactica.

So I applied most of the stickers to Prowl. Have to say not bad! For Laserbeak, not too bad, may add some paint to his blasters to highlight them. I need to take a better photo of Laserbeak, i will add that tomorrow. Overall not bad! In addition, I added the stickers to Ravage but he is in cassette mode inside Soundwave.

Re: the Galaxy Upgrade set, G1ish Cel-shaded windows instead of white overlays for the windshield frames (and the frames of the faux windshields on the solder armor) = fail (and honestly, those feel esp. out of place on that mold). The Skyfire, Red Alert, and Greenlight sets look great, the you-know-what on the first two notwithstanding. The Aimless and Pteraxodon set is cool, adds some delightful touches.

Ironically, Red Wing is not only the best version of the Seeker mold in my opinion, but also wears the tetra fin thing better too (not that I needed one for my seekers, I prefer the battleship Galactica look).

I'm kinda iffy on Cell shades windows. I like them, but I also like regular windows so...

But Galaxy Upgrade Prime doesn't suit them at all. It would be like putting them on a Bayformer.

The rest of the sets are pretty sweet, especially Jetfire.

Cell shaded devestator may be worth giving a go, haven't combined mine yet (I've not decided how or where they are being displayed yet) but the stickers may set it out from my NBK.

When Toyhax had a 40% off sale earlier, I grabbed the Fort Max and Trypticon sets, among others. I'll post pics when they've arrived and I've applied them. Seems the discount decreased after this update, but that makes sense - they've added some neat new things

Exactly. Personally, I think that instead of the hideously out-of-place cel-sjaded windows they should have done stickers to color the cab and faux-cab window frames, and a behind-the-"glass" sticker for the chest windows that showed Cybertron Optimus' matrix compartment. They really phoned that set in.

My big order arrived today! Started with Fort Max and *man* do those things need instructions. I think I did alright with the pictures on the webpage, but the numbering on later sets (pyro had it I think?) was sorely missed. Spent more time comparing window quantities and sizes than actually applying the darn things.
Didn't help that with the SDCC version half the sticker spaces were already covered by Hasbro's relatively unimpressive offerings... which I mostly left in peace since they were "premium exclusive" details

Anyone have thoughts on the Metroplex set? I'm thinking about purchasing it, but I'm unsure how many of the details are actually new versus how many just cover the Hasbro stickers

Probably a late response @Latebrus-K to your post. I personally have not bought that set, kind of settled for the stickers he came with from Hasbro. Thought they are not bad, i guess it depends on what you prefer.

Having read some thoughts about the set for the Galaxy Upgrade OP, i decided to buy them along with the set for Ironhide. I am good with both, to me they had alittle touch to them. I have the set for Cog but haven’t applied them yet, with the Jetfire set coming soon. Can’t wait for that one!

Here he is with all stickers applied. Have to say this really enhances Jetfire, adding detail and color over all that white. I was planning on getting this set regardless but was able to snag it for 40% off. For my personal taste it looks awesome.

I decided to buy the stickers for Shockwave and Springer. My opinion, it makes them look a lot better, breaking up the solid colors and adding some detail.

I agree with you about Shockwave, those actually look quite nice.
But I think the only sticker on Springer's sheet even quasi worth a damn is the chest one, although even that is tainted by being yellow. The greebling stickers are just as horrendously clashing and hideous and gratuitous on the SIEGE toy as they were on the original, maybe even a little moreso (Blurr and Hot Rod have the same problem). And the less said about the window stickers, the better.

Also, kill the Galaxy Upgrade Optimus sheet with fire.

On a more positive note, I like the Super Zeo Megazord sheet. It would be perfect if they made a replacement crown to go with it, but it's still a delight to have that available.

Anyone reading this should take a look at the first link for Sideswipe. There’s a reason they said “and beyond.”

I like Reprolabels/Toyhax, but i wish they would make more toy stages and offered those trimmed stages again. These 12" tall are great for Billy bookcases in width and depth but they are a little too tall. They really need to offer the trimmed versions again that are 11" for a much better fit.

Decided to purchase the set for “Refraktor”. Doesn’t look too bad, making it look more like a camera, more so for the lens parts. Anyways still not a bad set to get, if that is your preference.

Something alittle different. I was able to find a decent G1 Powermaster Optimus Prime at the TFCON in DC. Only obviously thing wrong with it was it didn’t have any stickers. I bought the set from Reprolabels and just finished applying the stickers. Glad I bought this set, cannot complain how it looks now. I do recommend this set if you are wanting to spruce up your Powermaster OP.

I ran into a dude Saturday night who somehow got a Powermaster Prime for $60 complete, was pretty awesome to see.

That is sweet on your stickers you are expecting to get. That will definitely make them a lot better. I had also bought a set of wings for my G1 Grotesque, so when I get home, I will get that set.

Have some toyhax fun, using up some of the new insignia pieces to help improve some bots. Debating adding Bot symbols to TR Megatron too, not sure on him yet

The Mirage sheet needs to be withdrawn for alteration (and preferably given an alternate version). As-is, it's just plain not up to snuff. For one thing, it's missing something it seriously needs: A corrective Autobot sigil for the vehicle nose just in case the factory botched it (as seen below).

I was really hoping the SIEGE Mirage sheet would account for the possibility of that error, but alas.

There are more flaws beyond that oversight (some of which I realized as I was typing):
* The "CITANES" and "26" stickers for the sides are just plain half-assed. There is absolutely no excuse for not having "CITANES 26" or "26 CITANES" as all one label in the blue area, especially when HasTak managed it on the factory decals. On top of that, having the 26 on the engine details looks really stupid, especially in robot mode.
* The shoulder stickers are completely wrong; they should be split into two parts and not be on the shoulders at all. Here's a G1 Mirage for reference:

** The silver decals with the red dots and black lines should be above his chest, to either side of the faux-parts JS-11 nose
** The purple vent decals should be modified to go on the actual molded vents on the SIEGE figures chest that correspond to the decal from the G1 toy.
* The forearm stickers would be better off omitted, or else widened to cover the molded stripes neighboring them. As-is, they just look.. off.
* Given the intent to make it look more G1, the cockpit sidewalls should actually be white, not blue like the rest of the body. The dancing girl decal should also be a separate label, so that people can pick which side to put it on, if they want it at all.

IMO, it could also do with coming in a "stripped-down" version for people who don't mind SIEGE Mirage's clear blue plastic. Because if you're fine with the transparent plastic, that renders almost half the sticker mass pointless.

EDIT: I also see that they still haven't updated Tor to have the thruster decal as an optional. Saddening, but it might be that they're having trouble sourcing an original or good pic thereof and thus it's beyond their control. What is in their control is that they have not yet redone the Galaxy Upgrade Optimus set (which is half-garbage IMO: '80s cartoon-style cel shaded windows do not belong on a Cybertron-based figure, and the stickers for the lightbar halves are completely wrong. They should be covering the lightbar halves entirely in blue to make up for them not being painted, and there should be corresponding stickers for the faux-parts cab halves. Instead of the abomination window stickers, it should have some stickers for detailing the leg guns. IMO the only window sticker that would actually work on that figure, is a sticker mounted behind the glazing that depicted Cybertron Optimus' Matrix compartment. The cel-shaded ones just make it look like more of a cheesy bootleg of the original than it already does).

So that this post isn't completely negative: I look forward to when they get around to doing a Clampdown conversion set for Red Alert. SIEGE Red Alert's red wheels and cartoon-color head notwithstanding, decals are the only difference between the two deco-wise so Clampdown is an ideal candidate for such a conversion.

Also, I think it would be really neat and helpful if they made duplicates of Sideswipe's launcher and rocket to go with the Red Alert sheet, and a duplicate of Red Alert's gun to go along with the Sideswipe sheet. that and a secondary set of taillight stickers for each that's drawn to fit the SIEGE figures' sculpted taillight detail, but that's me

We need more toy stages and the trimmed need to come back. I really want to deck my IKEA Billy's and Detolf's out with these, but we need more variations, some for Star Wars, LOTR etc and a better fit.

So, awhile back when I was stationed in Virginia I had ordered the sticker set for Titans Return Galvatron. Now that I am back home in Missouri, i decided to dig through my totes and find him and finally apply the stickers to him, along with the upgrade for his head.

For myself, I am very happy about the head piece being more realistic, rather than the flip up piece he comes with. Overall, not a bad sticker set and upgrade if that is something you have been wanting to do with your TR Galvatron.

The latest two sets I purchased was, for ER Grapple and ER Zarak. Me personally a major improvement for both but hey, stickers can do that to most anything out there. Nevertheless, I really like how Grapple looks now in both modes. For ER Zarak, definitely helps out with his chest, giving it some detail. As far the the visor option for the Scorponok head, i love the look. I have not purchased the actual set for Scorponok yet but looking forward to.

What happened to the site? The background has been dropped for an almost eye-searing stark white, and it seems like the G1 Bots and Cons have been jumbled up (I at least think they had been in alphabetical order before).

Definitely weird, i was just on the site a day ago and the background was fine. Looks like for the G1 bots, the order has been reversed. To my knowledge it was originally in alphabetical order like all their lines.

Who knows!
