With the overall positive fan appreciation for the very different covers drawn by Hutchison, he was asked to continue to draw covers for the ALL HAIL MEGATRON: CODA issues as retailer incentives after the initial 12 issue series was completed.
Now, with ALL HAIL looking to be released this summer as THE COMPLETE ALL HAIL MEGATRON collection compiling all issues together in one hard back version, Trevor Hutchison was asked to come back and draw the wrap-around cover for it.
IDW Publishing kindly forwarded a draft of what we can expect to see on the shelf this June.

Bah, me too now, thanks for mentioning that.
This was a kickass series. Love the part with Reflector making a mess with human flesh.

Sweet! Looks like another great hardcover from IDW. It will go next to my copies of The Art of Jim Starlin, The Rocketeer Deluxe Hardcover, Shockrockets, all 3 of John Byrne's Next Men, and the upcoming The Art of George Perez.

Couldn't disagree more. But...
Is this hardcover including issues 1-12? The cover doesn't look like the book will be too thick. Does it feature the CODA issues? What about the Spotlights which were labelled as part of the AHM series?

I would assume that's a yes, on all counts, but I'm not on IDW's bankroll, so I don't know exactly what is in it.

From what I know, this book includes EVERYTHING! 492 Pages - All 4 volumes including Coda and the Spotlights, plus sketches etc. The image you see above is an early concept image I sent to the editors, so it may be misleading. The spine of the book is actually much thicker.
Cheers - Trevor (Hutch)

Hey, Trevor.
Thanks for the info. Honestly, I'd only buy this for your covers and the Coda story that Nick wrote. The rest of the series was a huge waste of time and potential for me. But it's nice to know I wouldn't need to buy more books or anything after getting this one.
So yeah, just in case... your work rocks

I've already started download the individual instalments separately, however if they are available as a complete series then I think I'll just wait and download that instead.

No, he does not take on that alt mode until ongoing. This is only a collection of the AHM series.

Oh ok. Would you recommend buying this? I don't read comics for the most part, but I have enjoyed the Movie prequels/tie-ins and I like what I have seen of the Ongoing previews posted here. Also is the Ongoing series available in a set like this yet?
