I have multiple copies of each movie already. Guess I'll have even more copies soon enough. I wish they'd re-release the IMAX version of ROTF. My original copy got scratched years ago.

This isn't unusual for them with Generations, as they had the clearance tags out for the TR Leaders in December, and now no longer stock that size. They are still (re)stocking Legends, Deluxe and Voyager at this time, but not Titanmasters and Leaders, most likely because they shelfwarmed too long, and are not profitable enough for them.

Those two size classes are still coming into the country through Hasbro Australia to other Retailers... just not Kmart anymore.

Why? It's a solid figure and you helped the brand by buying it at retail cost. He cost a lot more than $40 to produce so they're taking a loss sending out t the remainder of their inventory to small chains to get rid of their inventory. Do you even have a Ollies near you, if so go out and buy them up then sell them on eBay for $60-80 and you'll make a profit and your "loss" for buying Max a year ago.

It seems very cheap for that much plastic but it's just not in any sort of shape or form that I'd want to buy it in.

Which Ollies was this found at?

The most interesting thing I've ever found at Ollies was when they had cases after cases of Gen Roadbusters sitting around (after I'd already bought a "cheap" one online and then found it in several other stores...). Beyond that just the rts-less repacks of the legends from that line. If I had the slightest luck in finding stuff, I get over to Ollies stat, but I know I'll never have that kinda luck.

Not sure the profit is worth it. Even if you sell for 100, that's 40 COGS + 10 ebay fee + 10? shipping. Even in that ideal scenario were talking $40 profit and I didn't consider taxes, other expenses, bad buyer, etc.

If anyone wants to do me a solid. Havnt picked up a transformer for months since wife's health problems but she saw this and said if I could work it out with someone she'd be fine with it.

As I knew, my Ollies had jack squat. No transformers at all, least of all FM. There's an hour out of my life (thanks solely to traffic, normally it'd be 15-20 mins) I'm never getting back.

I'm glad to hear people are finding these at multiple locations. I'd never even heard of this store but thanks to this article and a quick google search I now know there are three in a reasonable distance from me. I'll give them a call in the morning.

I pass by an Ollie's on the way home from work. Looks like I know where I'll be when they open at 9AM.

The closest Ollie's is 1809.23 miles from me.

You can call around to nearby Ollie's. Just provide them with the SKU# 158543 (the first six numbers of the one's under the barcode). The Maxi I found hadn't been put on the floor yet. They had 3 cases at the Randallstown Maryland store. I showed him a pic of the orange sticker from the Seibertron post and they located them easy peasy. Got one for me and one for m'boy. Happy hunting!!!

Wow. This is like the Metroplex super sale at Costco years ago... dammit. Didn't get to pick up Fort Max last year, and now the only place I could afford one is nowhere near me...Murphy's Law strikes again...

2 Ollie's (that I know of) in the norfolk/va beach area of VA, both just opened several cases today. Not a model I would normally buy, but for that price, I couldn't say no.

I think the Fort Max Ollies Discount deal is limited to the location(s) it was sighted in where the specific overstock is at. Not every chain seems to have it. I say that because I checked mine out today (just up in North Canton, OH) just to see what they had and there's nothing really to shake a stick at in terms of TFs or anything I was personally interested in toys wise. That said I might go back and grab some cookware because adult reasons. Somewhat disappointing on that note, but I'm probably going to keep an eye on it from here on out given the rollover of stuff they have in there.

Fort Max is... the Underbase!

I just picked up four of these! One for myself, my son and two of my friends. Amazing deal. Felt like I was stealing them. Four figures for just $10 more than the original price of one.
