Thanks to fellow Seibertronian, hushed we now know that Power of the Primes Voyager Class Starscream is 25% off on Amazon. This figure was originally listed for 24.99 but now costs 18.67. This figure includes the Seeker enigma, two prime armor accessories (which are essentially combiner feet) and he also comes equipped with his signature null-rays. Power of the Primes Starscream is very similar to Combiner Wars Starscream in a lot of ways. If you would like to check out a pictorial reveiw of this figure, click here. Probably will. I'm glad I didn't buy it full price at Walmart the two times I've seen him there, I feel kinda bad for whoever did. I got mine off Amazon for $19.66, I think anything over $20 is too much. He's currently $18.47 so the price is still sliding down and that is the Amazon price, not a third-party seller's price. Doesn't help that he doesn't have a team to go with him, All of the Dinobots are selling high, especially Grimlock starting at $43 and Slash at $19 (neither one available through Amazon directly). I know a lot of people don't like Grimlock, but having a team really helped him sell compared to Starscream.

Well, he does have Darkwing and Dreadwind. Been thinking about getting C.W. Jet Blast Off for a third member, and perhaps C.W. Vortex for the fourth one (I have U.W. Bruticus), although another jet would be better. (Ideally though a Deluxe Skywarp and Thundercracker, even though those characters should be the same size as Screamer)

Don't think I've ordered anything from that site since 2016.

Navigating through it to reach a specific type of TF line use to be so simple. But that's not really that big of a deal since they don't ever having anything worth a crap until 3 months after everywhere else on the planet gets second shipments of something "new" anyway.

You'd think that with TRU going belly up soon that "Hasbro" would step their game up suply and demand especially with exclusives (lord knows how much we hate searching for exclusives at Walgreens). H3ll, why don't they just step in and buy TRU???

Ordering from HTS has been a nightmare since I discovered it in 2012. Half the time I have to order as a new customer for it to process, and even then they never have a good supply of Transformers. Most of the time you are better off ordering from a 3rd party site like BBTS or TFSource. But if I visit the Philippines with my wife the shelves are covered from top to bottom with all the toys of the line, even TR Ramhorn and the TR Boxsets that were hard to find. As an american company they do not seem to give priority to it's home country in terms of stock.

Still really not enough of a discount for me to get him. Maybe if he ever drops to $10 & by some miracle Takara produces a Hydra & Buster 2 pack that I could team with Dreadwind & Blackwing to complete a set of limbs for a combiner......still a maybe.

I've been making customs out of those shelf-warming Starscreams (with a Skywarp, my prototype, coming up soon) but sadly, those online discount are cancelled-out by shipping making it roughly what I'd buy in stores anyway. What a shame.

Just paid £35 for the Walmart clones set delivered, sucks to be uk. Still a few TR figures to pick up but I'm getting there and at least POTP only has one paint scheme/not a lot of exclusives announced so far so it should help if/when I start to get them. Fingers crossed on not having to get three exclusives from three different retailers to complete pairings.

I just sent a customer service e-mail to HTS. There has to be a better way. There is no way to know if an item is in stock or not other than checking daily. Even if you log in, and put them in your "wish list" there is no notification that I am aware of... :BANG_HEAD:

Sometimes they will mark something as out of stock like they have with POTP Grimlock, but the way they have had Elita-1 & Hun-Gurr listed there for at least a week or two now without having them in stock, it's like they're teasing us. They need to have "Coming Soon" visible on the search screen before you click on them & add an email notification option to make that site a bit more consumer friendly.

I often order from KapowToys. They are slightly cheaper even with shipping than most Dutch shops. And they do have occasional great deals. I'm sure you know them

Now POTP Windcharger is $7.03 on Amazon, but he is an add-on item, which I think means you can't order him by himself, but you can add him to an order to get you to the $25 free shipping threshold. So if anyone out there wants Starscream, Windcharger, and a Prime Master, that should get you to the free shipping minimum if you don't have Prime....Amazon Prime that is.

Heuuuuungh, now I finally comprehend the pain of Australian living. Even taking into account the addition of sales tax, that price comes out to less than a PotP Deluxe would cost me anywhere in this country.

(I usually try not to exclusively complain in my posts, but when I'm already really really excited to pick up Elita-1 and know I'll have to wait another couple months, every tiny jab hurts just that little bit more...

Wanna feel really frustrated? I literally found and bought these two figures at my local Walmart (2 miles away) not an hour before I saw them on HTS, and now I have to wait until they're shipped so I can decide on which of the figures to keep in package and which to return. The agony of choice.... :-(

I really wish that Hasbro would run their own online store, rather than contracting through someone else. Kind of defeats the point of buying from "Hasbro Toy Shop" when you still aren't buying direct. I wonder if TRU going under might spur Hasbro and Mattel to launch outlet stores...

ok so earlier when I checked they had everything PotP in stock except Elita-1 & Hun-Gurr. Now when I check they have nothing in stock for PotP. I mean I have all the ones I want so far except Hun-Gurr...but is it just HTS being glitch again, or are they really completely wiped out?

It's terrible how those sold out before 8am. Either they had very low inventory, or the scalpers cleaned up. Absolutely terrible either way.

I want pink feet for my elita combiner. Mine came with black feet (tfsource) Can anyone confirm that the pink feet actually exist ? Or is that just the promotional art and the color got changed in production?

Great news. The feet ARE pink... just under black paint now. You can use 90+% alcohol to remove the paint. That's exactly what I'm doing ... as soon as I find one. sigh.

The Amazon Starscream got down to $16.17 as far as I can tell. It was going down a few cents at a time (a few time an hour I think) since this past weekend.

It is now back up to $16.55 since it got down to $16.17 this morning. For those who are interested, this might be the time to get it discounted.

Yeah, I get where you are coming from. The pistols are way too small, and the feet look less like girl feet and more like monster feet.

Maybe a third party will make us some Victorion style feet in pink.

Well I got a response from HTS. It was everything I would expect, from a bot or monkey. Not sure if it was an actual human responding:

We apologize, but no, we don’t have a notification procedure for our consumers when items go into stock.

Thank you for shopping with us and have a nice day.

That's nice and all...but I guess I really wont be doing any shopping if they don't have anything in stock for more than 2 hours in the middle of the FREAKIN NIGHT!

Oh and I love that they want you to review products. Now I was one of the fortunate ones that did snag TR Ramhorn because he was available for slightly more then 2 hours in the middle of the day, I'm sure you are all enjoying my quite extensive review of him right now, weighing it in the balance if you want to purchase this item or not... :roll:

That doesn't tick me off as much as when you have to luck out & be online at whatever random time they put exclusives on sale in the afternoon that sell out in 10 minutes. I was fortunate to get 2 out of the 3 I wanted last year, but still kinda bummed out that I missed out on Primitive Optimus.

Well if you look now on HTS Elita and Hun Gurr aren't just out of stock, they actually deleted them off the site. Even POTP Grimlock is still there, even though he's been out of stock for ages. They have the inmates running the asylum over there I think.

Yeah, I got the feeling that the original animators might have wanted to make Optimus's female Autobot Leader counterpart have something from his design to serve as a visual representation of her leadership position, and so chose to give Elita One her own "shoulder stacks" like the ones Prime had. 8-)
