First exclusives at Target. 100 mile roundtrip. Now they might be at Best Buy? At least the good thing is it's in the same plaza as that Target. That and I don't like my Voy Megatron so I'll be saving on that.

Me like that Ratchet very much. I know the mold sucks, and looks next to nothing like the movie model, but at least the new metallic colours will look good, especially since I've passed on every movie Ratchet figure so far, and don't have any rendition of that character in my movie collection yet.

Best Buy actually had some exclusive "Legend Class" figures when the Transformers Video game came out. You got one free with a preorder... I used to work for Best Buy (lil bro still does) so its no surprise that my local store dropped the ball and ended up with a ton left over. My lil bro (29yo) picked up the a few that were left for a penny each.

Best Buy has done some cool stuff like this is the past... BUT, a word of warning. There are many geeks/nerds/fan boys, whatever you want to call us that work at Best Buy, and too often they stash stuff away. I'll be surprised if each Best Buy gets more than 20 units of these exclusives in (thats 10 each guys and gals).

If my bro can get me one I MIGHT have him grab me one, but to be honest, metallic repaints dont do much for me... I never even bothered with the "metallic" Robovision Prime, and I go for COOL over exclusive anyday. If my lil bro can hook me up, maybe I'll get a few to sell off on here...no promises though.

It would be awesome if it happens. Nothing new, since that's what I think happened with the FF8 figures I was talking about after my quote from First-Aid, but good cross promotion. I just don't remember if the FF8 figures were exclusives like the Megatron and Ratchet figures would be in this case.

TFs at Best Buy, thats pretty intresting, I may have to look into the rarity of these exclusives. I'm sure they'll be joining the DVD release, so I just may look into these keepsakes.

Then again, anytime BestBuy does a toy cross over promo, they normaly just warm the shelves. To this day everytime I walk into one, I still see bobblehead nsync losers staring at me.

If you can find TF toys in Kohl's, I'm not surprised to find them at Best Buy. Muhahaha, more stores to run now.

i got a movie scout here in Portugal. And all the others scouts are also present here.

Best Buy? Last time i was there (last night) There were no toys. So why are they deciding to carry 2 TF toys? What i see is that they will be over priced and hard to find. Thanks hasbro for making things hard again. I dont get the point. The only thing that would make sence is that they will be released with the movie to try and get more people to buy it at best buy than walmart or FYE.

I suppose these will be like those mini-busts Best Buy offered last year in support of Superman Returns on DVD. They were offered for like $10 each if you bought any Superman DVD.

Well it wouldn't be the first time we saw toys or Movie items sold at best Buy, remember the Master Replicas Lightsabers?? That was a cool release to coincide with the DVD for Revenge of the Sith. I for one love Best Buy and will be there the day they arrive for purchase of both and the DVD extended 2 disk special edition. I'm not into HD or Blueray..too much too soon, even if I wanted to I'd have to upgrade the TV to flatscreen and get a matching surround sound system, which isn't a priority...

But those figures, both of them will be Mine!!!

Well... That's going to be odd. I've seen figurines, like sets that go along with DVD's there but never toys.

I'm happy with my current Ratchet, and if I hadn't JUST BOUGHT that voyager Megs, I'd get that.

We'll see, though, I am weak willed after all .....

Now I can use my BestBuy giftcard.

I'll probably buy the megatron just because im not happy with the other deco but since i customize my own figures i might have to pass up ratchet since hes only shiny

After finding out that the megatron metal castes are rusting i dont think i want to buy anything metal for a while. At least when it comes to commercial products.

My thoughts exactly. So maybe they'll be released around mid-October if the DVD comes out on the 16th. I guess I might actually splurge and get Metal Megatron, as long as he doesn't rust. (Ha! Sorry saw the post above.)

I hopped in my car and drove to Best Buy.

Depends on your Best Buy, but some Best Buys already have put
them out on the shelves... Galleria Houston Best Buy has them
out already. It really does depend on your Best Buy though.

I stopped by another smaller Best Buy and they didn't have
them yet.


I was planning only to buy Ratchet, but after seeing Megatron
in person, he looks immaculate... the paint application on this
Voyager Megs is beautiful and the ice actually looks like
ice... I couldn't resist so I bought both Megs and Ratchet.
