Yeap.

The only United tempting me is Jazz and possibly Scourge, depending on the paint job.

Same here, the only united figures I'm getting this time are Jazz, Tracks and Scourge, still waiting on pictures of Laser Prime and Wheeljack.

That toke me by surprise too. Blurr's alt mode looks the same but his robot mode looks...oh idk...SUPER BLUE than before?

- Perceptor is missing the orange transparent plastic, is a different shade of red, and is missing the chrome on the knobs.
- Wreck-Gar is bright red/yellow instead of Hasbro's dark red/brown.
- Blurr is darker and more heavily saturated. The grill is different, the shoulders are different. The white is light blue. The guns look black, not brownish-gray.
- Kup is metallic.

The Robot mode is Nice Though!

-visor
-wheels
-tail lights
-back window
-front red lip
-chrome grill
Would have put martini water slide decals on the doors if i could figure out how to apply them well enough without them ripping
I plan to do this to all the toys, and I think in the case of perceptor it will go a long way

yes because little kids will all see a microscope on the shelf and pick it other a motorcycle or a jet. If you want a microscope buy the G1 toy.

Kind of regret putting them side by side now. I like the more expensive United figures better

As for Kup, I'm splurging on the Takara 3-packs. One version of Kup - battle damaged, though it is - is ok with me, though I really like shiny paint.

Kup also has a painted grill/abs.
The only one I'm uncertain about getting is Kup because I will be getting the eHobby release. That's the only reason I'm uncertain though. These figures look better than the Hasbro versions.

United Perceptor's abs are painted/chromed as well, just like the G1 version. It's better than the Hasbro version, just not $20 better.

Wreck-Gar's a tough one. I know they've gone for a more G1 accurate scheme that emphasises his 'junk' origins, but the overall effect kind of makes me nauseous.
The whole painted wheel issue is a tad trivial I know, and a nice set of shiny black alloys do look great on the right car, but Hasbro's wheels do look really cheap. I think I'll have to wait for Seibertron's comparison shots so I can truely judge the differences in colours for Kup and Blurr.

All four of these figures look incredible. I just hope a 3rd party makes a G1 accurate, non-crappy head for Blurr to replace the piece of crap he has at the moment and the fix only flaw on what is an otherwise superb figure.
Sorry if anyone has already mentioned this idea, but does anyone else think that we might get a Shockwave repaint (with some remolding of course) out of Lugnut?
The different vehicle mode doesn't matter (same with RTS/United Soundwave, Perceptor, Rumble, Frenzy etc) and he is already the correct size and has a cyclops thing going on.

My god I hope not! The ONLY Shockwave I see in Lugnut is his cyclops eye and even that would probably get replaced by a new head.
