Those shots of Primal on Snarl are REALLY disturbing...

I agree about Ryan and look forward to the day I can buy him a beer, but still, are all those his?
I have a 2 room collection myself, and boxes up to the ceilings in each. But the collor variants, the exclusives, the test shots...
Well, I'd just love to see a panaramic of what his shelves look like!

I picked up Reptillion that day, and never regretted it. Still one of my favourite repaints, much better than the original.

Heh heh ... those pics didn't seem to turn out quite as well as I had hoped. I think it had more to do with the lack of poseability in Primal's arms than anything. Oh well ... I left them in there for the sake of size comparison.

Liege Evilmus wrote:So I need to ask man, how many figures are in your collection?
I actually don't know! I just know that I own every figure that's been released in the U.S. minus a few odd exclusives such as the Kmart Armada Prime/Jetfire giftset, the TRU Vector Prime/Starscream giftset, Botcon Nightracer, Botcon Breakdown and a couple of others.
Given how many figures I owned back in 2001 (around 550), knowing how much I've put into this collection since then, knowing how many figures I've yet to photograph and knowing exactly what I don't own, I estimate that I own around 1800 - 2000 figures. I know that's such a stretch but I own a lot of doubles, a lot of repaints, all of the U.S. Mini-Cons and U.S. Micromasters and a lot of things that I often forget that I own (opening up the boxes that contain my sealed figures that I haven't done galleries of yet always is a surprise to me).
I have used well over 100% of the ad revenue this website generates every month to dump right back into my collection so that I can provide everyone with more content and more galleries. I have bought so many figures I've never wanted simply so that I can share galleries of these figures with everyone. I receive so many nice compliments about the galleries that it just encourages me to work even harder to bring you guys the best and the most unique content available anywhere on the 'net for the Transformers.

Thanks guys! I'm really glad that you are enjoying all of the hard work. I think there are about a dozen galleries of figures that I don't own or own but didn't take the photos of. I'm slowly trying to replace whatever galleries that I didn't take so that I can say that 100% of these galleries are mine instead of saying that 99% of the galleries are from my collection. It's a point of pride with me.
Most of my figures are unfortunately stored in boxes for the boxed (MOC, MIB, MOSC, MISB) figures and most of my loose figures are stored by series in zip lock freezer bags in rubbermaid tubs. I have a few of my favorite figures on a bookshelf next to my desktop in my living room and some on top of my entertainment center above my TV. Nothing too exciting ... I'm looking to move into a bigger apartment or a condo toward the end of the year so that I can dedicate a room to my collection at last and get them out of my bedroom.
Looking forward to that beer!

I agree! It's definitely one of the few repaints that are by far better than the original.

Thanks for posting these!
Actually, I'm pretty exhausted right now. I finished up 13 Beast Wars related galleries on Thursday night. I worked on them from 7pm to 2am and still managed to get up for work at 7am. I worked on cropping the current set of galleries last night until late in the morning last night and only got about 4 hours of sleep again. Basically, I'm missing a night of sleep right now from the past week. Looking forward to sleeping in this morning.

No noticable difference between BW Snarl and BW2 Kid, eh?

Not that I could see. They appear to be identical, much to my surprise. I imagine the same is going to happen with Claw Jaw when I do his galleries.

You'll get that beer and a tray of wings to boot, you earned it in my book and then some!
Top that with the fact that you reinvest the revenue from this site right back into your collection to enhance what you have going on here, realy makes me happy that this is my site of choice. It's not corporate or anything like that, it's by a fan for the fans!
That I can tip my hat to.
I have to say, I ebjoy these galleries. Weither I own the figure already, or get envious and jump on Ebay right after I'm done looking, they are very enjoyable, and also a great tool for collectors.
Case in point, I got my Beast Wars Snarl in a Ebay auction. This figure has a secondary port in his underbelly. I scoured the internet for pics of this bot to see what it was for with no conclusive results. Hence, I've never been sure if I was missing a part or not. First page of your gallery for this figure, you show said underbelly, and that nothing goes in that extra port...
Thanks, now I know(and I am not going to finish that phrase)!
I look forward to many more galleries to come, I look forward to remaining a part of this community, I also look forward to finish unpacking as I just moved myself and sharing some pics of my own collection with you all!
But in the mean while heres some from my old place that I have on file.
ENJOY

Oddly enough, Tasmanian Kid comes packaged with the tail in the other hole. I had never noticed the 2nd hole until I removed TK out of the package. The 2nd hole doesn't appear to do anything special so I just left the tail in the anatomically correct place that it should be located at.

Congrats on your move. I can't wait to move out of my current place. Thanks for the compliments about the site. It is very encouraging to read comments like yours. It's like a refill on Energon!
Thanks for sharing some fun pics of your collection with us. I found some old pictures of my collection from the fall of 2001 before I moved to Chicago. It's amazing to see how big my collection is now versus how it was back in 2001. This was back when everything used to fit into a small closet.

collection003.jpg - Figures on top of my entertainment center back in '04 shortly before Botcon 2004.
collection004.jpg - Some of my favorite figures on the bookshelf next to my desktop computer at home. There's more figures on the shelf now and most of the ones in this picture are still there.
collection005.jpg, collection006.jpg and collection007.jpg - Some of the figures in these images have since been opened for the galleries. But they've been replaced with many other figures that I haven't opened yet such as several G2 figures, Universe figures, and many others. Some of the boxes are the ones now against my wall and have been replaced with smaller boxes that fit better in my closet.
collection008.jpg - My collection used to be refined to 7 tubs at this point. It's now around 15 tubs. The wall that's in this picture has the tubs stacked 3 high with boxed Transformers stacked on top of them now and with several large old school styled Dell computer monitor boxes in the back corner stacked almost as high as the ceiling in my bedroom now.
