In contrast to the repaints we saw recently in KSI Sentry and Shadow Raider, all three of these toys appear to be entirely new molds. A Bumblebee, seemingly designed after his appearance in The Last Knight's World War II flashback (a toy which many fans will surely be excited to see!), heads up the roster. Following him is a figure of Sideswipe - possibly (though not guaranteed) painted up all in silver like Studio Series Jazz before him. Finally, a highly impressive Deluxe Barricade figure rounds out the line-up, seemingly taking several cues from his Movie Masterpiece incarnation.
Check out the images below, and share your impressions and excitement by posting in the Energon Pub Forums! And as always, keep an eye on Seibertron.com for more breaking Transformers news!
UPDATE: The same TF fan also took a picture of a fourth deluxe figure revealed at the show. It is another dread, possibly Crankcase.

These robots modes looks like they wouldn't be able to fit inside their vehicle but they do.
Makes me excited to see how they transform.

Sideswipe looks freaking gorgeous. The paint. . . The paint! And he comes with both his guns and his swords. . . Man, SS Sideswipe could have been a skip since I like the DOTM one, but I will be getting this one for sure!
Barricade looks pretty good, he does have a better chest and arms than the DOTM deluxe. Not a priority, but he does look cool.
Anyone know what vehicle that is Bee turns into? I don’t recognize it immediately.
EDIT: You can also see a weathered version of 76 Camaro Bee in the reflection of a couple of the pictures, maybe that’ll be released too sometime?

It's also super exciting to see a toy of a body Bee only had in a flashback. It's pretty awesome that they are willing to go to that depth for the toys

Agreed, though I'm also just hoping we get an actual decent deluxe Hotrod.

Now all we need is Bonecrusher and that's the entire first movie cast completed (if you want to count RotF Megs as the same character, which I'll be fine with if they don't make his jet form from the first movie)!

Will have to get a better look at Sideswipe and Barricade before I decide anything on them, already have other versions of both. They look good, though, like that 'Swipe gets his swords AND guns this time (and not one of those stupid Mech Tech things, LOL) and a deluxe Barricade finally gets his flail.

Personally, these make the most sense to me make next for the studio series, and the ones that I'm hoping for the most, but I'm probably forgetting someone though (a Bumblebee movie Blitzwing would be pretty awesome too, it could confirm whether he's a triple changer or not, has that been confirmed?)
Man, crazy how what was revealed was nothing anyone guessed or hoped for, but its still cool reveals regardless. I like movie toy engineering and these are almost all new molds (except for what I am about to post). Very refreshing from last time.

I thought the deluxe we got was more than decent. Fun transformation, and 2 great looking modes.

The Tweet claims it's a new head, but that's definitely the same non-retooled Crowbar head.

I never thought we'd actually get a WWII Bumblebee (I actually thought it was some kind of Hound when I first glanced at it) but damn they listened to those of us who wished for such a thing and it looks fantastic.
Sideswipe and Barricade. Man... They look superb. I love Sidearms Sideswipe but he's way too big for Studio scale and I was worried how a smaller one might turn out, well this one looks fantastic and fresh and new and well-armed so bought! Barricade, I thought I'd be content with his fine DotM deluxe but this one looks somehow better! Like his MPM scaled down with magic. On the DotM figure he doesn't have proper rear windows, they're just solid black and end up o nback of his thighs, here they're definitely transparent and end up inside his forearms. Bigger hands too.
Crankcase yeah I may get him too. I get they're doingt he Dread squad and I'm cool with that. I still haven't yet got Crowbar (and confused this looks just like him?) but I have and love TLK Berserker (should I move him up to my Studio shelf?) But yeah Bee, Swipe and Barry are definitely the priorities and super damn exciting!
I too would love another got at Hot Rod. His stylish robot mode just wasn't done very well on the AoE Lockdown retool. It's fine as a figure but Hot Rod looks way cooler than that figure.

Shhhh, don't put ideas into Hasbro's head about re-releasing all the TLK figures into the Studio line (though would be nice to have backdrops for all). They've just been super amazing with these new nolds here, let's not spoil it.

-Sideswipe: Eh, maybe? Movie Sideswipe has always had a more appealing design to me than I think every other Sideswipe I've seen just because he isn't a basic blocky generic robot man, but his face always throws me off. I'll have to see more/better pictures of him. Also, I can't really tell, where are his blades attached? Are they attached to the wheels/arms like older Sideswipes, or do they plug in like SS Prime's swords, or are the swords and the guns each one connected piece?
-Barricade: Agh, his alt mode is perfect, and I like his big claw hands, but his Movie 1-3 face is just so bad-looking to me...if this doesn't look better in-person/in better pictures, I'll just get a TLK Barricade instead, I guess. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he exists, but the issue I have with him is one I've always had with his design, not just with this figure.
-Yet-Unnamed Dread: ....sorry, no. I have Crowbar, and he's alright, but you can't just slap some faux gold paint on his dreads and hands and say it's a different guy, nice try.

Carnivius_Prime wrote:@Nemesis_Primal: weird, I always thought movie Sideswipe and Barricade had two of the coolest head designs in any TF franchise. Swipe looking very sleek and badass, and Barry looking like pure evil. As they should.
I'll agree with you on the sleekness, but I have issues with determining where the mouths are on some of the movie head designs, just because they have so many little details/moving parts. That's really the only issue I have with Sideswipe's. As for Barricade, I find his face to be just really unnecessarily busy/detailed, if that makes any sense? His mouth is a whole different color that isn't present anywhere else on the design, for...reasons, I guess, and it's kinda overly jagged.
That's just me though, to each their own. You rock out with your SS Barricade, I'm glad you like him for what he is, I just need a bit more convincing before I make a concrete decision on him.
If someone could maybe mention a release date for these guys though at this event, that would be amazing.

Yeah I'm no longer looking for the door panels for my DotM Barricade (that i got at car boot sale) that's missing his. He's now just a placeholder for Studio Barry.
I noticing Sideswipe is using his DotM car form. I hope this time he has floorboards even if they happen to be what makes his swords. Heck if it turns out there's a way to make his RotF roof so the car is a convertible than even better

Because their two different toy sizes?
Masterpiece Barricade wouldn't go with Studio Series.
Why have Seige Optimus and Sideswipe when there is mps of them?

MPM-Barry still likely a larger more complex and accurate representation of the character for collectors with Studio being the smaller more affordable simpler figure for general play or display.

Eh yeah but it's fine. One of those things that won't look so bad in person anyways and rarely view him from directly side on or behind and movie Bees do tend to be rather backpacky especially at Deluxe size where there's only so many joints you can put into the figure.

And they covered it up with explosion effects instead just blurring them out, like that Animaniacs where Adam and Eve's naughty bits were always obscured by something in the foreground. Classy.
Let that backdrop be the symbol of Michael Bay's legacy: An example of explosions as the best possible solution to our problems.

Aside from more shots of WW2 Bumblebee, Barricade and Sideswipe, we also get shots of a 5th deluxe being revealed at this event: rusty deco Bumblebee. This toy is very similar to the Chinese exclusive previously revealed to be limited to 300 figures.
Enjoy all the images below and let us kow what you think. The Hasbro panel for Fan Expo will be tomorrow so it is unsure if we will be getting any other reveals before then.

lol, they've already been doing it with Bumblebee, Crowbar and Thundercracker which take from previously existing TLK molds to varying extents. Glad to see 3 new molds here though.

Yes, three. I know that. Don't be giving them ideas to release 'most' as you said.
Argh... this's one of my specific transformer figure pet peeves... Bumblebee's little lower wings not being folded down. Bugged me in the early pics of the gold repaint and bugged me in that commercial for the TLK figure last year.
Trying to work out how Barricade's chest is formed here. Certainly different for a deluxe class Barry. Also kinda hoping the bumper parts can be tilted to be a bit more accurate but overall the figure looks a big improvement over the very fine DotM toy and certainly the 2007 figure.

SS Sideswipe, damn is he good. It destroys all previous Sideswipes. there is little to no kibble minus a bit of the backpack, but still It's beautiful. The fact that he comes with guns and swords is amazing.
Barricade I'll be buying for sure as he is easily my favorite movie decepticon and says one of my favorite lines in the film: "ARE YOU LADIES MAN 217!!!???" I'm glad he got his proper weapon this time and Barricade looks stunning overall. The proportions are perfect on this guy too which I love. It's a bit dissapointing that we didn't get frenzy to go with him, but I still love what we got.
The fourth guy is... who even is this? People are saying it's Crankcase but this looks nothing like him, and it sure as hell isn't Hatchet so who even is this, and why does he exist? I will almost 100% pass on this guy, as he just seems like a waste of a slot.
Still waiting to see that new Prime and Bonecrusher.

It looks like the side door windows do fold away onto the insides of the forearms for robot mode, but the "collar wings" for robot mode are still present with fake kibble side mirrors. Take a look at the newer close-up pictures:

Yeah. I mean, I actually quite like the KSI Sentry and Shadow Raider versions of the Stinger and Lockdown molds but it did feel like perhaps they were running out of steam. But coming back with much desired fan favourites like Barricade and Sideswipe is amazing and to produce a new WWII Bumblebee from basically scratch feels like an extra level of awesome that's very encouraging.
