New Photos of MP Skywarp and U.S. MP Starscream

I think Skywarp actually looks better than Starscream there. Although all three of them together, counting the first release as Thundercracker, look great.

Why doesn't Skywarp have a platform? He is displayed using the one with Starscreams name on it?

because it's not a production model yet? just a prototype or pre-production model.

I'm liking the colors on all of them though..

I think that Skywarp is just a fan-made repaint. That's why it's on a Starscream base.

Explain his purple lower arms. it would be neigh impossible to give his arms and hands that plastic look with a proper color and still be able to pose it.

Where can we order the Anime Starscream in the UK?

I have GOT to get me one of those.

A couple of people on the TFW2005 boards made it sound like this particular G1 colored MP Starscream is actually a Takara release - not the Hasbro version. Something about Takara's version not having battle damage paint whereas the Hasbro one does.

So... does anyone know if Takara is indeed also (re)releasing MP SS in G1 colors?

takara will release a G1 SS minus the "wear". look in the news archive for last week to find it. It also includes a link to a pre-order sit.

no, these will not be released outside the US, so pre-order it through BBTS or something. I did it or, if you're lucky, get one of your friends to buy it for you and save $40.

Can anyone confirm that Hasbro is putting out yet another 'battle damaged' masterpiece? (i.e. this beat up starscream. )

If so, can anyone also explain what their malfunction is with doing so? And what the heck is the US retail for this thing supposed to be?

What happened to Takara's refusal to do the MP Starscream mold in anime correct colors? They were adamant in that position at one point.... ?

is there an ACTUAL release date for starscream?

Ohhh can not wait... I have Skywarp on Pre order...when US Starscream comes out I will be getting 2....

again, check the news from last week and before, all the pictures indicate that wal*mart starscream will have "wear" (not battle damage!)

From left to right on my shelf.. it will be..

MP-03 SS (Drone), MP-05 Skywarp, US Wal-Mart Exclusive Starscream, A blank Space for Thundercracker.., MP-03 SS (Drone)...

In the Center with his fist held high will be MP-04 Megatron!!! I may even place the Reissue Soundwave's laser Beak on his arm for effect.. hmm... with a little bit of clear tape..

Since G1 Skywarp was my first transformer, I'm really looking forward to getting the MP version. Wow, if they do release Thundercracker, guess I'll have 4 versions. Time to hang another shelf.

But he makes such a good generic Seeker for SS to lead. If they do TC release, I actually might consider picking up 4 more MP SSs. 3 for generic seekers and one to have repainted as Sunstorm. Kinda like I have set up with my PVCs.

I know-just running out of real estate, especially since I still haven't found room for Leader NW Prime and Camo Brawl and with Skywarp and Anime SS coming soon. Too many big Tformers!

Get both, the visual differences should already be there and you can show the weathered US version in fighter mode and the clean JAP version in robot mode.

I'd love to if my wallet could handle the strain After ordering my MP Skywarp I can only afford one Starscream and I'd like to get the version with the highest quality. Hopefully there will be more details on both versions in the next month or so.

Now that's what I'm talkin' about right there!

So here is my thing. I own the current incarnation of Starscream. I want the anime colored one (of course). I will get the Skywarp one as well I have no use for the Mp SS now that AC SS is coming...sorry but its true. So I might as well just go ahead and convernt him to TC. Now has someone posted instructions on how to convert your original MP SS to Thundercracker. I see that people are selling a book on how to do this on EBAY for $30.00 bucks. I figured out how to turn Alt Skids into ironhide myself (looks amazing) but I have never done something as complicated as MP SS. Anyone?

I like how they all have a base that says "Starscream". It's like that game show "To Tell The Truth". Guess which Starscream is the real one. And I agree, the original MP SS looks like Thundercracker, and they look good together if you think of them as the original 3 seekers, and not 1 Skywarp and 2 Starscreams. But he's not perfect. I'm definately getting the WalMart G1 MP Starscream. If they do a proper Thundercracker repaint, I would get him and Skywarp too.

Skywarp looks better than the first time we saw pics. I like the added silver. I'm still not to keen on the second face though.........oh well, it's MP Skywarp!

Screw this Walmart exclusive. Just make it available even at Target, bastids! You know the hoarders ands scalpers will take this out before the public sees it.

anyway, I was a bit ticked off that when I finally decided to pre-order it, they removed the "collectors grade" checkbox. so I'm now left over to the goodwill of Hanky or whoever bought my box.

I am glad I have Skywarp on preorder! But I so want to get Anime Screamer! I just wish Wal-Mart would now give us an oportunity on their website to preorder him
