Yeah looks like Hasbro finally realised that it doesn't matter what colour a turd is, it's still a turd.
So add a fancy looking accessory to distract the buyer from the turdliness.

As for Prime...why is he GREEN? I could understand if they were doing Toxitron, but that's too dark a shade...

Shame he isn't deco'd to look more like the original Sharkticons. Or Galvatron, for that matter.
I have to agree with Burn on Optimus: a recolored turd with an extra accessory is still a turd.

Always wanted an Optimus that swapped out his red from green (while leaving most of his blue and gray in place).

I was hoping for more "organic" colors for Megatron, like teal, grey and blue, but I´m still getting it.

Could be the plan, and though sometimes purchases are based on accessories (how many do you think are going to buy the Platinum Ultra Magnus for the Forge of Solus Prime?) it isn't always enough. Honestly though, from the pic I don't think he looks that bad. Regardless, the shield is still pretty cool.

Honestly, I think the mold looks pretty good for the size class, and I've heard much the same from those who have it. That deco is just...weird. XD

I don't entirely get it either though: something about making a four-panel comic (manga) out of the foreign meme/trope?

Ok, a yonkoma is a Japanese 4-panel gag comic, and gaijin (aka Reaction Guys) is an internet meme, in which a collection of guys are shown something, and upon a small change to that something their reaction changes completely. Like you guys:
Panel 1: BH Megatron prototype, non-final colors, no paint
Panel 2: Reaction Guys are not impressed to say the least.
Panel 3: BH Megatron stock image or in-hand photoa, aka final deco
Panel 4: Reaction Guys are ecstatic with excitement.
The reverse can also happen in such comics

That recolored Prime looks horrendous, though the shield is okay.

Will break up the Sea of Red.
I like the BH Optimus toy,
so I don't mind getting another color
of it.
Odd choice of color that it is.
Is there a reason for the the green?
The Megatron looks nice too.I want one of
those too

He's a mean, green, fightin' machine. What more reasons are needed, there?DISCHARGE wrote:Is there a reason for the the green?

NO, I DEFY YOU!
I still don't like it, so there.
He's below BH Dreadwing on my purchase list. I might change my mind when I see a better image, but for now I'm still down on the mold.

So..he's a plant? He should be a triple changer then.
What kind of plant would Optimus transform into I wonder..
I guess I was thinking some jungle deco or something.
Not to be a plantruckthing.
People throw their arms up with truck/monkey
I can imagine dislike with transforming plants that
look like vehicles/beasts/weapons and humanoid robots.
Weird. Kids today..huh Dont get me wrong. They can make
any plot seem cool with enough action.
I just dont watch the show much so, hmm..
I dont know. ha
Takara did make those dancing flowers..
