Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, -WonkoTheSane- has clued us in to a new set of images of forthcoming Transformers Earthrise Deluxe Class Bluestreak! The images have appeared in the Netherlands version of Amazon so the listing is in Dutch. The price given is €24,27 and the release date is given as 1st September 2020.
As you can see, the incorrect render is included and appears on the back of the box. The render uses the Smokescreen version of the mold while the correct version of the toy uses the Earthrise Prowl head which already greatly resembled cartoon Bluestreak's head.
There is still no official confirmation on how Bluestreak will be released, with rumours circulating that at least in the USA, he'd be a Walgreens exclusive like last years Siege Ratchet.
What do you think of this release? Are you getting Bluestreak? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

I got an email from Amazon today saying my coneheads are delayed 3 weeks!
And Pulse charged my account for Scorponok last week and still nothing.

yeah of course he would. My problem is that Pulse now won't even recognize my email and password so I can't check on my order.AcademyofDrX wrote:I got charged by Pulse for Scorponok and he hasn't shipped, but Sky Lynx is en route, and I think he would agree that's more important.

Well looks like they are trying to make good on getting them out by 9/1, which is good to see. I got both at Target last month
But hopefully this means the wave 2 deluxes scheduled for 9/1 will also be spotted soon as well, or at the very least shipping form Pulse.

Wish the inside of his lower legs were painted, but I'll plan on getting him.

Silverstreak, Bluestreak, potahto, potayto...
Regardless, I have a Silverstreak shrine and it's all because I picked up MP Silverstreak at Toys R Us at the time they bothered having MPs in Quebec. I'll have to get the Alternator at some point. Better yet, the Binaltech, for that premium feel.

Render aside, Bluestreak looks really, really good, easily the best of this mold. He's quickly convincing me to get the 2-pack for Prowl.
Since none of the Datsuns are going to be selects figures this time around, I'm hoping that means there's room for a selects blue Bluestreak.

Those are my general thoughts on sunstreaker.
I dunno, I think Sunstreaker looks pretty solid. But I had really low expectations for him to begin with, and he's already surpassed those, so my perspective is probably a bit different.

It's limited for forgetting to switch out alternate heads and other parts, no real biggie, really.

Should also be remembered that a lot of Hasbro's design staff is working from home so there's probably not a lot of direct oversight from team managers making mistakes slip through easier.
Still not nearly as bad as T30 Nightbeat having the entirely wrong mold (TF2010 Jazz mold) on his package and art all the way up to his release (T30 Bumblebee mold), for the better IMO.

The img tags don't work unless they're aimed at the image directly, not the window showing them (in other words, the link has to end in .jpg or any other image format). "Copy Image Location" is not the best way to do that, sadly.
The seat is surprising, to be honest.

Interestingly, they've always shown on my end so I never realized. I went back and added them as inline attachments. I really dig the seat. I enjoyed the titan masters and power masters so this is definitely cool.

The alts driving compartments too small compared to other vehicle modes and seeing as I don't like the mini bots it would be cool if he could store normal sized g1/mp cassettes or even forget the gimmick. Failing that some kind of attachment upgrade to clip on the earthrise toy might work.
I wouldn't count on there being someone to replace Weijang. "We should copy the model of that company that just got shut down, I'm sure it'll be fine for us."
You can just say you're not getting Doubledealer because the scale is too small for you, you don't have to create an imaginary toy created by an imaginary company to cater to your personal arbitrary desires.

Not really, when some forumer might know of an upscaled Doubledealer or add on kit.

I am really envious of everyone with Sky Lynx taking pics of OP or Arcee riding him like a stallion. I ordered mine along with ER Starscream from Megalopolis.toys and they must be hit bad by Covid or something. First order shipped quick, second has been hanging out for a while.
ER Arcee has been delayed on Pulse, I wonder what the chances of seeing her in Target before Pulse ships? I got the T30 and I just don't like her legs. The ER version still has thin legs but I do like the plastic they use on current figures better so I'm hoping she feels a little more stable. Plus she'll have 5mm hands.

He is rumored to be a Walgreens exclusive, which would account for the higher price listed here ($35.99).

The first store yielded me a Sky Lynx.
The second and third had nothing I wanted.
The fourth yielded me both the Seeker 2-pack and the Clones 2-pack.
That was good hunting.
Though, none of them had even an empty spot on the shelf reserved for Scorponok.

Yeah most stores aren't actually stocking him

Most of the Targets in my area do have the shelf space tagged for Scorponok, but they have no stock. Even the one store in my area that shows one as in stock can't find it anywhere in the store! Luckily, I was able to order one last night when they briefly came in stock again!
Good haul with finding Sky Lynx, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Pounce, and Wingspan, Sabr! I got a Sky Lynx from Target the other week. It took a ridiculous amount of effort, checking "in-stock" notices about a dozen times over until I was finally able to order them, but I got the Seeker 2-pack and Clone 2-pack via Target.com.
Here's hoping that the Wave 2 Deluxes show up soon!

Erh...
If this result in a EB-Games exclusive here in Canada, at least it will be obtainable at the normal price.

Fastrack is the only Weaponizer in Earthrise (the gimmick was superseded by the modulator gimmick of Ironworks and Airwave), acting as an extra to Titan Class Scorponok, the same way that Cog, Sixgun and Brunt interacted with their respective Titans.

There's no reason it won't. Look like your standard 5mm port. If the bot's arm is strong enough to support the weight, it should be able to handle the Fastrack paddle.

I've gotten everything from WFC so far, triple dipping on Ironworks, Soundbarrier and Slitherfang, and 2x on Greasepit. I left out Hoist and Grapple since they really just feature a connector not really a part of a base (Hoist easily could attach to Sky Lynx if I wanted).

Now to have the room to display them both in base mode together...

Why not both? Is it a mold-collecting thing? So that means you won't be getting Inferno either, since you got Grapple?Notimus Crime wrote:Yeah, I think I'm going to skip out on Hoist in favor of getting Trailbreaker. It's not a mold collecting thing, it's just that I have to be a bit picky about where my money goes. I don't have a job (I'm too busy with college, going for mechanical engineering), so the majority of my spending money comes from the $8 I earn from doing chores every week. Hoist just doesn't grab me nearly as much as Trailbreaker does, and I'm already planning to spend a lot on transformers as it is (probably more than I'm going to be able to actually get, if I'm being honest). I may get Inferno, but it depends on how he looks and who else is coming out around the same time.

You don't? From a toy aspect, I love my Datsuns as much as the F-15s. I think it probably goes to how they were presented in "fiction". I quote it because some of it was commercials.
I think the difference between the jets and the other mold sharing figures is they've always been kind of a package deal. Prowl and Bluestreak teamed up once on the show, but weren't really associated together in any meaningful way, and they didn't really do anything with them and Smokescreen either - same with Cliffjumper and Bumblebee (Hubcap and Bumper are afterthoughts).

That particular body type was used as a crowdfiller in the original cartoon, right from the very first scenes. So kids saw that design a lot. Plus, compare how many turned into land vehicles to the amount of aircraft.
