Seibertron.com is proud to present our newest gallery: Masterpiece MP-11SW Skywarp
Skywarp is based off of the MP-11 mold, which permanently replaced the MP-03 mold, which was used the last time Skywarp received a Masterpiece release, back when Walmart carried them. You can see the differences between the MP-03 and MP-11 molds by clicking this link here, and then check out the full gallery of Takara-Tomy's newest high quality release by clicking on any of the mirrored images below.

Apparently, it turns out that Chinese and Japanese are not actually the same thing.

Just want to know if it's a limited run that has this problem or if all MP-11SW Skywarps have this problem.

lets have a contest of all the Sky-warps in existence of who can push someone down a flight of stairs the fastest

Unfortunately, I won't even be ordering this for another two weeks. If no one shows up with one in the time it takes for me to get I'll be glad to help out in any way I can.

I know just the person to ask about this, and have sent him a PM to see if he could give his two cents on the matter.Seibertron wrote:Any of the rest of you have this version of Skywarp? I got your message.
I have 4, but I've only opened 1. It has the same little bubble there. I would have never noticed it had I not seen this picture. Doesn't bother me. Must be common to all of them.

Just a question - please don't get upset. Why do you have 4?

My two arrive Wednesday or Thursday, so... I'll also confirm. But it seems to be pretty consistent given the responses here.

Ah. At different times I've gotten two of something for display purposes, but that ship sailed when I got into Masterpiece.

That's usually why I have multiples of anything (because I sell figures). But with Skywarp it's because he's my favorite character. I usually buy 3 or 4 of each of him.

I may get a TRU Magnus if he's colored more like the G1 toy, but I'd still find it hard to go through with...and I'd be going off plan with my budget for the year. Yeah, I have one of those. I kind of feel like I have to. The price points are exorbitant, but I definitely think in most cases you get what you pay for.
Still, for a favorite character the temptation to buy more than one is there. I almost did it with Prowl, but I resisted successfully.

I would have thought with the teasers for the 3rd party Apollyon (ie. no-Megatron) MP scaled figure, that this would have been the kick up the arse Takara needed. But still silence from them!!
I will just have to keep on waiting I guess.....

Let Soundwave lead. He was a better leader in Marvel UK G1 than Megatron ever was.koolkollectibleskhai wrote:You know what these guys are missing? That's right Takara, their frickin leader!! Why Takara has taken so long and still not announced or released a new MP Megatron is beyond me.

Good thing I didn't read much Marvel UK.

Either way, Megatron was just as poor a leader as he was in Marvel U.S. and the cartoon in Marvel UK.sol magnus wrote:Good thing I didn't read much Marvel UK.

That's your opinion, which you are entitled to. It has nothing to do with his (and my) desire for an MP-10 scaled Takara Megatron.
Posted by Sabrblade on March 8th, 2015 @ 11:29pm CDT
I just meant let Soundwave lead for now, until a new Megs gets made, as Soundwave's qualified to be the acting-leader in the (hopefully) temporary absence of his true leader.sol magnus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Either way, Megatron was just as poor a leader as he was in Marvel U.S. and the cartoon in Marvel UK.sol magnus wrote:Good thing I didn't read much Marvel UK.

To be fair, he's currently leading on my Decepticon shelf at present, so there's that.

And Takara just keeps putting out more awesomeness every year! They ended 2014 on a high with Bumblebee and Ultra Magnus, and 2015 is off to a controversial start with MP-23 Exhaust. But with MP-24 Star Saber and MP-25 Tracks on the way, and potentially Ironhide, Ratchet, and a big Decepticon on the way, this line is just going from strength to strength!!
