They should have done Prime then stopped.
The Prime gun is cool, TFORMERS has a post showing how it changes, it's pretty hot!

A small part of me went "aww, they're both left hands so I can't wear them both at once" when I saw that. A less silly part of me then replied "but if you did wear two at once, how would you change them?"
There are no easy answers. I like the missiles clipped onto the sides in weapon mode. The kid on the packaging seems dead impressed!

That's technically not a barrel roll. I might have to get one for my brother, who loves Star Fox.

Not that impresive, espcilly since the alt mode looks nothing like any incarnation of Starscream, at least the prime one had the G1 stripes and the movie flames to make it regognisable as Prime, this is just a grey jet with an odd shaped canopy.

Yes
Megatron.
It'll be based on G1, wow look, a gun.... that transforms into a gun!!!!!!...

Double Barrels, eh? I like it... I'll be getting both this aand the Prime gun. They did a good job with this one... I like how the huge jet-mode missiles form the barrels for gun mode, and the darts are stored under the wings like bombs.

Hold up!
This is for the Left Hand, wasn't the Prime one for the Right Hand?
I know reloading would be impossible, but TF-blaster-akimbo would be pretty badass.

So are they going to make a megatron into a *gasp* gun or that still not allowed?

No, I don't want him, terriable, monster, ugly, awful figure for the character. It's a win for worst Starscream design ever, in my opinion. To those who know this guy well, you can't even call it Starscream. It's almost an insult to Starscream. Good thing is, it's a free country, and I don't have to like it or buy it. So, to each their own.( I see Prime selling so, so, so, much more)

When I see packaging like this, I'm always left wondering about the kid they photographed. Has the image been altered to the point he's barely recognisable? Does he get made fun of for it? Or is he just some kid who works in a Hasbro factory?
What are his hopes and dreams? I ask you.

Good news: This is a jet that turns into a hand with a gun. No robot mode. So unless you think either the jet or the gun is ugly, you shouldn't have to hate it: it's one less instance of movie Evangeliscream's robot mode design being used.
(While we're on the subject, though, ny two cents.... The desesign would have worked for Thundercraker, but for Starscream it just doesn't fit... Too bulky, and not pretty enough. Starscream should have had a sleek, terrifying, otherworldy sort of beauty, to keep with the "looks alien" theme but still cature his personality. If you've played Duel Masters, think Light Civ... It would fit his cold-hearted vanity.)
