Leader Class Starscream & Voyager Bonecrusher

Isn't Bonecrusher a Voyager class figure anyway, or am I mistaken?

Mistaken, but not by much. He's a Deluxe class figure. Personally I thought he deserved at least to be a Voyager. Deluxe just doesn't seem right for him.

Well this is good news, however the likelihood of myself getting Takara figures is slim, so looks like I'll have to stick with the American versions.

I'd be happy to get these guys if they made it across the Pacific/Eurasia. The current Bonecrusher and Starscream seem a bit small for the vehicles they're supposed to be. With some 6 versions of Prime and Megatron already on the go I don't think it's outwith the realms of possibility for these fellas to appear in a later wave.

Unfortunately, I know I won't be able to resist voyager Starscream and deluxe Bonecrusher in the meantime...

Voyager class is too small and doesn't have enough detail. A Leader Starscream should look great!

Brawl and Bonecrusher are my two favourite movie bots, and it'll be great to have large toys of these two instead of the small deluxe figures.

Don't get me wrong, the deluxe Bonecrusher is great, but a voyager sized one would kick so much ass!

Probably very good. The only thing they might change is the die-cast if any, and they might get rid of certain paint apps like they tend to do. I hope they do release them here, I'll get that Voyager Bonecrusher no matter what, but it would be nice if I didn't have to sell a kidney to afford it.

I wanna see it before I say I want it. Movie StarScream isn't something I'm to intrested in.

I just love HLJ! $35 and $65 Australian. I might be able to get these Japanese versions cheaper than the Hasbro versions that turn up in my local shops!
I payed about $50 for Classics Voyagers locally, so $35 before postage sounds like a very good price.

Now this is interesting! I would love to get my hands on that leader class Starscream! Considering the size of a leader class figure and the die cast parts, does anyone think it might be on par with some of the Masterpiece figures (but cost a bit less)?

A leader class SS? no mater waht you say, but I'll get that! It's a cool design even if I don't like it as SS.

Of the movie figures, Starscream is the one I'm least sold on. I can't imagine that a forty dollar figure will change my mind much.

I stick to the cheaper figures anyway unless something really cool catches my eye and I've never really understood the appeal of diecast parts (yay! it's a metal toe and pelvis!), so this probably isn't for me anyway. Still, that Bonecrusher sounds kinda cool.

ill just get the hasbro versions.

Perhaps some of these leaders will shelfwarm long enough for a good sale on Leaders to come around. Maybe then I can get a Leader-class XTREEM Rice-Rig, he'll look good near my 20th Prime.

Unless Hasbro releases the larger figures, I won't be buying. I've nothing against Takara, I just hate Die-Cast with a passion. HATE it.

Plus, I'm not a big fan on imports anymore. After waiting 18 friggin' days for an Airmail item, I just can't do it anymore. My patience gets the better of me.

That Takara die-cast Starscream is already mine. I just need to see the first pre-order.

Can't you guys read? THERE IS NO LEADER STARSCREAM. Look at the specs, it's just the Voyager version.

I preordered both with HLJ and canceled my deluxe Bonecrusher preorder with BBTS...

Deluxe Starscream really looks terrible; and if there's any appeal in the figure, it's in what he looks like on-screen. He doesn't, in my opinion, look like a monkey on screen - he actually looks really really cool. The toy just makes him out to be a bulky, blocky monkey, and some of the early sketches/poses didn't help...

If leader class SS has:

1) No bulky kibble in jet mode underbelly
2) real hands and better looking weapons
3) more detail

Then I'm game.

Bonecrusher is so obviously a Voyager-must-be that I preordered him to.

At this rate, I might just get the whole movie set from HLJ and be done with it...

Wonder what the japanese packaging is gonna look like? If the deluxes come in boxes; it would be really cool. After all; the movie figures should have boxes so we can cherish them forever more...

OMFG I WANT A VOYAGER BONECRUSHER! At least he'll be closer to scale than his Deluxe counterpart.

I think that Bonecrusher,Blackout,Starscream should all be leader class and scorponok a scout class and barricade should stay deluxe class.

Yeah, I don't care about scale amongst figures enough to complain about it, but something needs to be done with Blackout. He's way too small.

well... i dont mind the Deluxes though, and Leader/Voyagers would be great. but when i buy figs, i buy with intent of finding the cheaper fig, to not use up my money, until i can generate some income from work etc.

anyways... would gladly like Voyager Bonercrusher, and a Leader Starscream, although i would never get them, due to economy reasons.
