Kabaya Gum Series 5 Packaging Images Confirm Rodimus Prime Upgrade Bonus Parts

I like how Kabaya is trying to force cross sales by having pieces of Rodimus' trailer come with each figure. I am curious as to how Victory Lio will combine with Star Saber as I don't see any visible attachment points on Saber.

All i wanted was victory leo for my star saber (which is still my only kabaya TF) ... but now seems like i have to get all, just so i don't feel that I have extra pieces.

why in the hell doesnt hasbro bring these over? Cut back on the useless repaint/slight remolds and give use cool little things like this. Back in the day you couldnt walk past a candy isle/section without seeing stuff like this. You dont even have to do the candy thing just package them like they do the dogtags and sell it in the card section.

Yeah... if hasbro does it it would start costing way more than it needs to. But it would be cool. Then again my country has a ban on gum, so no chances of getting it either way.

True enough, but there's a problem. Parents will see these and think "Oh, there's a toy robot in there, I should buy that for my child." Or "My offspring is brilliant, such a simple model wiould be easy for him/her!"

And then little davey dumb@ss swallows a torso piece and chokes to death because his parents overestimate.
Somehow, Lego-type toys manage to induce a moment of clarity in parents.

Thats why they can print the words "model kit - contains small pieces, assembly required" Really, when parents see the word assembly required on a toy box, it goes back on the shelf unless their kid have built one before. They're trying to eliminate the possibility that their kid ends up bugging them to fix it.

Although legos is well-established enough so parents know they are buying a building-block set. I NEVER get Legos by accident as a present, although i rather legos then the books and thumbdrives i keep getting.

Well all i can say is these guys looks really cool ,i always like smaller versions of figures .

I'm hoping someone can help me, I assembled Victory Lio today and noticed that there weren't any instructions to combine him with Star Saber. I checked the boxes for Rodimus and Inferno and they didn't have it. Do I have to look online for them or does my box have a printing error?

Pretty sure they're meant to combine. I did it with mine. There was a slight worry of stress marks on the clips used to connect Victory Leo to Star Saber's feet, but so far so good. Victory Leo seems clearly designed to connect. Star Saber is less apparent just to look at him, but it works.

We're constatly seeing Victory Leo and Starsaber in some form... How about a reissue?

That would be amazing...and insanely expensive!
