Would it hurt to be a little open minded at all? Oh...my mistake, it seems that you let your mind wander and it never came back.... tsk....

Kids will want a "Transformer", as in a changing robot with the design style of a Transformer(actual) or a Power Ranger. The kid will look in the Transformer section and say "Eeeww." and walk a few steps over to the Power Rangers.

Or more than likely they'll see Starscream on the box and go "Sweet! Mom will you buy this for me?"
You have to be seeing by now that you're pretty much the only one here. Or anywhere for that matter that thinks like you do. Other people say things about a design or toy that they don't like. You automatically say it's crap and horrible without ever giving a halfway valid and coherent reason. I'll be blunt. It makes you look insanely moronic and it probably makes others on here in your age group cringe each time you post.

Your sentence states that the box art will make kids not buy Power Ranger toys.

Yeah hes got a point. I think you meant
" discourage thousands of kids from buying SC and they will spend their allowance on a Power Ranger instead." or something to that effect.

Anyways, Bluebullet has a right to his opinion and to say everyone here has no views similar to his is just assanine and wrong...ahem.. moderator.. ahem...
Still, i think that if Takara/Tomy were to produce this figure in style and up to par for a masterpiece Starscream movie version, which would include maybe the large fuel tanks and a missile pack under the wing which combines and then forms the arms.. that would look much better then the huge ass Missile arm combo that sticks out like a sore thumb underneath the wing.. ugly and not realistic, and that is what they are going for in these movie designs rrriiiiggghhhtttt???
HAVE SOME IMAGINATION GUYS!!! YOUR A FREAKIN TOY COMPANY WITH PROFESSIONAL DESIGNERS...!!!
Man i wish i could win the lottery get some shars of Hasbro and make a difference.. because we all know that only money talks in this rotten world, and if your ever gonna get things that you want, then it takes money...
Or just drink LOTS of alcahol and you'll feel like a millionare after awhile..LOL

Are you saying that because some people are Mods that they are less entitled to state their opinions?
I'm all for freedom of speech and all, but there's a difference between "freedom of speech" and "acting like a jerk". Not that I'm accusing anyone in particular, I'm just saying I've seen that a lot lately.

thats a swell way to have an opinion or attack, as a mod, I rest my case..
on the stupid thing people say.... yeah lately its been crazy so i agree with you there, but some ones gotta give a little support to the underdog once and awhile.. i generally vote for the underdog, cause he gets out numbered very quickly, and why would I come to this or any forum to talk to people who think exactly like I do..??? that would be insanely boring and no fun at all..
Its not about freedom of speech which is awesome, its more about a difference of opinion..which I think is great for people to have. keeps us from being sheep..

It's not just you. Starscream has snake eyes!

Looks like I'm finally starting to warm up to his design... it's definately... different. I don't think anyone will deny that!
I actually really like that head sculpt, and I'm glad the final figure has the black paint of his head-crest and the black lines on his cheek instead of the pink ones on the prototype.

skywarp-2 wrote:Actually i'm not sold on the whole Starscream design either, but its not because of the bugish face sculpt. it's simply because of the way in which Hasbro has brought the movie design to toy form, and urrggghh... why do we always have to have window packaging.. learn a few things from japanese packaging, will you hasbro..!!! Geez!!

But to get back on topic, I wish i could win the lotto too. That way i could buy hasbro and hire Trans-Fans to make the TF toys.
Oh and take over the world.

I mean if you're gonna call this guy Starscream, slap a bit of red on him.
Either way, ole Screamer's not too high on my list of toys from the movie to buy. Which is okay, because I'm fine with my Classics Starscream.
