Wait they're doing a stylized Windblade? Might have to drop for that. Also I agree with you 100%. I'd love to see Megatron get a mace or flail more often especially, and of all the things movie Bumblebee could contribute to Bumblebee overall, the war hammer feels like a good fit.

Yeah they teased some design artwork of her a few months ago. No prototype reveal yet, but I imagine it will be soon.

Devastator has had colored images, and we were told to expect pre-orders here soon. and Hound has a prototype, so i imagine we might see him in the coming months as well. Skywarp has also been confirmed to be coming.

I love how robotkingdom slaps their name on all photos as if they’re only sent to them. They’re advertisement photos sent to most retailer and sites.

Man I looked high and low for other retailers with non-labeled pics but they were the only ones I could find. Just out of curiosity if you see them pop up elsewhere can you let me know? That was driving me bonkers earlier.

They're just... absolutely egregious. Coming from a builder of Gunpla, cleaning your nubs is one of the most important steps in making your models look amazing. Big white stress marks and excess pieces of sprue don't help with the look.

Image

I know I'm being blunt but I'm really not trying to be rude. I just wanna have the gallery look amazing and really make the kits shine.

Thank you for your suggestions. Had I actually put the kits together myself, I probably would have done that. However, the kits were assembled sets that Bluefin Distribution sent to me for review purposes (which I'm assuming Flame Toys assembled themselves and then sent the sets to Bluefin Distribution. If they didn't send me assembled samples, I probably would never have done the galleries because of how long it takes to build sets like this ... heck, I never even got around to doing galleries of the recent Kabaya Transformers because of how long it took to build Deszaras, and those are pretty simple compared to the Flame Toys kits).

The only "customizations" I did to these figures was super glue parts on so that they would quit falling off (such as the horns on Bumblebee, Bumblebee's yellow chest, the vents on the side of Thundercracker's head, and the back pieces to which the wings attach on Thundercracker. I will try to keep my eyes out for small flaws like that on the assembled sets they send me in the future.

One would assume that a company that send assembled copies for review purpose would have taken some extra care in building the things.

On the other hand though, most buyers will be complete casuals and would never think about painting or cleaning the kits of nubs. So in a way, the pictures were "honest". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Guess I'm a complete casual then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think I prefer them to look great without paint, because then I am not disappointed in the way they look after all the time I spent building it. Also, shouldn't a person start painting these things once they get one of the bigger, more expensive kits like Tarn or Drift? Because I think those need the paint more than these simple figures.

An amateur would give at least a clear finish for that extra shine, with paint highlights. The pro would go the extra mile by adding dirt, battle damage, and special effects.

If I find one of these kits on sale, I may try it out. But I'm sure the thing may end up completely ruined. T__T

Flame toys is keeping things sizzling hot this summer with their upcoming release of Transformers Shattered Glass Attack Mode Optimus Prime! Although not an entirely new mold this repaint of Furai Model Optimus Prime Attack Mode absolutely captures the image of the unhinged warlord mirror universe version of Optimus Prime. You know, the dark version of Optimus that's not Nemesis Prime for once.

Originally debuting as part of an April Fool's joke to Transformer fans that saw many a bot's color scheme, faction, and archetype flipped for fun, the character has developed and grown into the one formerly known as Optronix who amassed his sadistic hordes of Autobots to destroy the noble Decepticons.

Translated from the Japanese Tweet:

"Unlike the regular version, the mask is painted on each runner. The state of luxury will be completed as shown in the photo, but you can further improve the detail by sticking the attached sticker. The crack in the chest window was reproduced by printing on the print."

Enjoy the images and as always stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!

Continuing on with our San Diego ComicCon coverage, we have the latest Flame Toys Furai Model Kits and Kuro Kara Kuri Figures on display!

The Kuro Kara Kuri kits include the currently for sale Shattered Glass Drift, the soon to be released Star Saber and the recently revealed Optimus Prime. Drift is a red repaint of his original Kuro Kara Kuri Figure, representing his Shattered Glass IDW body, a look inspired somewhat by Deadpool. Star Saber is directly based on his IDW self, and will combine with Victory Leo, who will be released later on in the line. Optimus is a stylization based on his IDW self but with some Japanese flare and energy pulses.

The Furai model kits include both currently released figures as well as upcoming figures. Among the already released figures are Starscream, Thundercracker, Attack Mode Optimus Prime, Nemesis Prime (attack and IDW versions), and Bumblebee. Among the soon to be released figures are their version of Devastator, Drift, G1 Optimus Prime, Shattered Glass Optimus Prime, and IDW Autobot Megatron. The kits have proven to be a popular trend with the fandom, and we are hoping to see some more kits this weekend, including their Hound and Windblade, both of whom have been teased prior.

The more I look at these guys, the more I think of them are "reverse traps". Most of these bots are actual FEMBOTS trying to pas themselves as boys with their very feminine curves.

Like in Final Fantasy 9.

Following the conclusion of San Diego Comic Con, the various exclusives of the convention are being scattered around for distribution to those who could not make it. Most are set to show up on Hasbro Pulse, with an expected date for the Transformers exclusives to be September 4. However, one exclusive is now currently available for your purchase: the Flame Toys IDW Nemesis Prime model kit!

The Nemesis Prime kit is an exclusive evil Decepticon redeco of the IDW Optimus Prime model kit, and is now available for $40 on Bluefin. The set is only a limited stock, so if you have interest in an IDW Nemesis styled Prime, you don't have long to jump and make sure you get one!

This Nemesis Prime also follows a trend started last year as the Attack Mode Nemesis Prime was also exclusive to a convention last year, in that case the New York Comic Con.

Let us know what you think of this kit below, and tell us how much you are enjoying the Furai model kits as a whole as well!

Just, wow. If you're a lover or just a peripheral fan of the Flame toys then buckle up because these are some amazing designs from Flame Toys of Kuro Kara Kuri Rodimus And Furai Model Optimus Primal, Lio Convoy, Big Convoy, and Optimus Primal! Also shown in a black silhouette is God Power Jet Armor! Seemingly with two modes this appears to be an add on piece to armor up previous Flame Toys Optimus Primes.

These were just recently posted to the Flame Toys Twitter account and show what few could argue are delicious fan service details. Windblade gives an impression of Sarah Stone's art from her IDW self titled series. Lio Convoy has his shoulder cape and a sword reminiscent of Alpha Trion's. Optimus Primal has all of his glorious guns drawn and ready for battle. And Big Convoy, well, he just looks big and mean and ready to stomp through an army of Predacons.

We've included the tweets that headed each image which gives additional tidbits such as artist names and status of production.

Enjoy the images and as always share your views with the Seibertron crew in the forums. And Stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!

It's for the Kuro Kara Kuri figure line, not the Furai Model line.

Shame that the only update on Windblade is that they're still making Windblade.

Also looks like they're toning down the pelvic thrusts, which is good.

Holy shirt.

My body is ready for the Beasts. All 3 of them look incredible! Lio Convoy has the most interesting look, but I am stoked for another Big Convoy!

Excited to see what the Windblade will look like when done.

That jet kit looks awesome, it'll be great to see how it looks on the Kuro Prime.

Rodimus is also looking really good! They need to do that design in the Furai kit set too.

Still waiting on the Hound they teased a prototype of last year, hopefully he comes before these guys. But I am ready for all the kits they have. I have 2 waiting in my Stack and 2 more that should be coming in stock very soon

Bad distribution in your area, or you unfortunately missed out?
Either way, it always suck to rely on the secondary market to get ordinary figures.

Flame Toys is burning down the house with news and reveals today and the latest announcement from their Twitter page is the arrival of Kura Kara Kuri Star Saber! They do not specify a release date and note this is just a sample, but we are given a view of the packaging and what the robot looks like inside the box.

From Flame Toys' Twitter Post:
"[KuroKaraKuri] StarSaber - The product sample finally arrived at our office! We hope it to be the one worth waiting for and will ship it to you as soon as possible!!"

Hot on the heals of its recent package gallery, Flame Toys has posted a short gallery for Kuro Kara Kuri Star Saber. The photos reflect the final figure just in time for its August release after paint issues prevented its original May date. And what a paint job it is! It's a gorgeous figure with the gallery showing off the accessories, articulation, and working lights. In addition we also got a second gallery. Thanks to a tip from user Grimlock we're treated to a gallery by Weibo member NOTRAB. Enjoy the galleries and let us know if you're dropping the $400 or so to buy this.

Flame Toys is definitely taking the name cue and making the summer sizzle with their recent assault of incredible reveals. This time they've posted some new images on their Facebook page of their IDW Autobot Version Furai Megatron! This time we get an obscured look at what his packaging will look like. Anyone who enjoyed this character's evolution during the latter half of IDW's previous Transformers run is sure to feel an irresistible pull towards this model. Whether you love or hate where Megatron ended up his choice to join the Autobots is undeniable as a milestone of the character throughout all of his incarnations and is beautifully represented here. Per the post "Let's little bit review [Furai Model] Megatron (IDW Autobot ver). It will be shipped soon too."

From our previous article back in June which listed the product information:
"Flame Toys Megatron Furai Model Kit · MSRP $50.00 · Available July 2019

The Flame Toys Megatron Furai model depicts the powerful leader of the Decepticons with a modernized design as seen in IDW’s Transformers comic series. Standing just over 6 inches tall, Megatron features his signature fusion arm cannon and offers exemplary articulation with over 40 moveable joints. Constructed from differently colored ABS plastic injection runner parts and simple a snap-together assembly, the kit is ideally designed for both beginners as well as more advanced builders. The Flame Toys Megatron Furai model kit will debut in July; MSRP for the kit will be $50.00."

Did Megatron deserve redemption or was his fate sealed as the worst murderer the galaxy had ever seen? Is this at the top of your Flame Toys want list? Let us know in the forums and as always stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!

Not sure about the chest stickers yet, but we'll see in hand. I'm eager to get the next round of kits. TC and Bee are awaiting some glasses and Megatron before they ship out!
