On a side note: No disrespect to the reviewer, but putting a fan made coke commercial at the beginning of your review was a bit too much. I think Im gonna start taking pictures of Old English 800 and Colt 45 bottles on my signature again...LOL

Youre basically putting a cartoon accurate head and guns on a body that DOES NOT resemble the cartoon body at all. So why bother ??? I dont think they made this new set to appease fan criticism. I think this was their plan all along to double up their money with minimal effort. If they had offered a 10 dollar discount to anyone who bought the first version, I would have bought it.

I'm cool with them getting repaints out of their molds. It's a tried and true method to generate revenue Hasbro's been doing it for years, it fuels future projects. At least it's a remold and not just a straight redeco.
I fully agree about the Coke commercial.

So as that applies to these guys... a retool on Hothead is appreciated. Makes it feel like you're getting a better value on the repaint. So thanks there!
I can't knock repaints... it seems like the 2nd or 3rd paint job is where they get things right, many times... a G1 accurate paint scheme, inspired nods to the comics and obscure characters, missing seekers we've been pining for... or simply a second chance to buy a mold for those who came on board late.
Seriously, whatever it takes to "pay for the mold." Keep the repaints rolling out.

It loosely resembles the IDW version of Hardhead if you are familiar with him at all.

If the real purpose is providing information to others, video is the less efficient method in every case when it comes to static items. But it's undoubtedly easier to set-up a video camera, ramble on and edit a bit than to try to craft a text and attempt to take substantive photos. And if someone actually writes a real script to a video review, then I can only wonder why they're wasting their time as well as mine by opting for linear medium like video as opposed to something more accessible (data-wise). I suppose much like "die-cast construction, it's a lost art."
In case you haven't guessed, I don't like video reviews, AT ALL.
To all video reviewers:
I thank you for your time and effort, but truly believe that your labours could be put to far better use if disseminating information is your intent.
That is all.

What's more, Hasbro is going to release their own version (eventually), and I'll probably be picking that up just because I'm a bit of a completest for CHUGHUR.

A paid sponsor ??? How much money does it really cost to set a digital camera on a tripod to shoot a five minute home video with no transforming ???
I mean no disrespect, Im just being honest. Of course if coke is paying for the figure then thats a good deal

I have both releases now and I will still buy the Hasbro one if released. The more the merrier in my book.

Looking at that list, I think Gentei was the letter left out. Anything missing, guys?
Classics, Henkei, Universe (2.0), Gentei, Generations, United, Reveal the Shield = CHUGGUR
Mind you, I just keep calling them Classics, unless someone gets bent out of shape.

And CHUG is still stupid. Besides the simple fact that the fandom doesn't need a one-size-fits-all term, it's also awkward and likely to go out of date real quick (not to mention a racial slur). Classicverse, Neo-G1, G3 or whatever make so much more sense if you really need a catch-all term.
And on second thought, I'd like to propose to the mods that the term CHUG be banned and replaced with asterisks, much like other four letter words here on the boards.
