Disheartening news for those of us who pick up the Hasbro Generation 1 re-issues has surfaced, thanks to Joshbot of the 2005 boards. He had emailed Hasbro about the lack of G1 re-issues and after a couple of weeks got the following reply:

Thank you for contacting Hasbro, Inc.

The are no plans for additional Generation 1 reissues at this time.

We appreciate your interest.
