Just havin fun, it's Soundwave.

Yeah. That's definitely Soundwave. Cool for Soundwave fans I guess, bad for Acousticwave sales.

What's really crazy is that during the Hasbro Panel Q&A at BotCon a fan asked when we would get Breakdown and they acted like they had no idea what he was talking about.
Posted by worldsgreatest on May 25th, 2012 @ 9:51am CDT
I remember Twincast talking about Breakdown not being on display but I didn't know someone straight up asked about him. Eesh. Glad I preordered the AM version.

The guy had to explain, "you know the Takara version we've seen on the internet".

MP-10. Lambor's voyager sized.Joetx wrote:Any idea which MP OP is the MP Lambor being compared to, MP 1/4 or MP 10?

I really like the metallic looking paint on Knock Out, but yeah, still hating the Micron ports (even the engine block on this one).
Posted by Sabrblade on May 25th, 2012 @ 1:36pm CDT
They better release then both, and Jet Vehicon (another that was hinted to me as be Takara-only ).Sodan-1 wrote:If Hasbro doesn't release Breakdown and Unicron as rumoured then I officially lose all confidence in them. I'm sure I'd get the odd figure when they get lucky but I no longer expect them to come through for me.

Too big or too small? Cuz that's just the right size to go with MP-10.Flux Convoy wrote:Still pissed about MP Sideswipe being voyager sized. That's effing retarded.

Not according to the official scale guide.Flux Convoy wrote:Way too small. No MP figure should be that small. If he's just the right size then Rodimus is wildly out of scale. Sideswipe should be about chest level with Prime.

About 100.00 each, already sold out at BBTS. TFsource still has United Black OP avaialable. Captured Prey still has both.

"Steve"? If you're referring to the Arms Microns:
Zamu (Breakdown): Rhinoceros
Gra (Knock Out): fiddler crab
Noji (Vehicon): wild boar (the triangular piece is his nose)

Of course Rodimus is way out of scale. And Grimlock. And Megatron. The decision to make the robot modes of MPs in-scale with each other came after they made MP Hot Rod.Flux Convoy wrote:Way too small. No MP figure should be that small. Alt/BT Sideswipe isn't G1 accurate. And if you're THAT concerned about the price tag, wait till MP-12's domestic release for like $35-40.Flux Convoy wrote:So what exactly are you trying to say. Rodimus isn't radically out of scale? A MP Sideswipe SHOULD be as small as a voyager? You can't possibly tell me that's an acceptable size for the money and believe it. If that's the case, we already got Alternators/BT Sideswipe to fill that gap. I don't need Sideswipe to fit in the GD trailer that I'm storing in the first place. What I need in such a figure is a nicely sized representation of him that boils down all the essentials into one good toy. Also, bear in mind how often that official scale guide is rendered moot in the show.
I don't get how you think that just because the cartoon had so many inaccuracies, the toys should too. Wouldn't it be great if there could at least be some effort to correct the animation errors through some way, even if we're never allowed to remake the G1 cartoon?
I'm pretty sure that Sideswipe's car mode just happened to be the right scale for it, rather than them trying to scale both modes just right.craggy wrote:scaling Sideswipe's car mode to fit the Prime trailer surely makes a mockery of the "scaling robot modes" idea, non?

Someone find me a Bumblebee. We need to sacrifice it to the Toy Release Gods. Surely that will appease them.

As orangeitis said, the decision to make the MPs in scale with each otehr came after the MP Rodimus Convoy toy was made. Though, As Rodicmus Convoy, the toy IS in scale since both Convoy and Rodimus Convoy were the same height. It's only as Hot Rodimus that he's out of scale.Flux Convoy wrote:So what exactly are you trying to say. Rodimus isn't radically out of scale?
It is when they're trying for show-accurate sizes.Flux Convoy wrote:A MP Sideswipe SHOULD be as small as a voyager?
The size is fine. It's the price that's outrageous.Flux Convoy wrote:You can't possibly tell me that's an acceptable size for the money and believe it.
He's not G1-accurate, nor does he fit in the Masterpiece toyline.Flux Convoy wrote:If that's the case, we already got Alternators/BT Sideswipe to fill that gap.
If you don't want it, don't buy it.Flux Convoy wrote:I don't need Sideswipe to fit in the GD trailer that I'm storing in the first place. What I need in such a figure is a nicely sized representation of him that boils down all the essentials into one good toy.

It's funny how some mistransformations could actually be considered show-accurate. If/when we get an MP Brawn, he should be able to do that.

Might be a another Micron-gimmick-based remold of some sort.Hotrodimust wrote:Has anyone noticed that the front of knock out in car mode is different and I'm not just talking about the AM port the whole tip of the hood and lights look different. I just custom painted this guy and the space from the end of the light to the wheel well isn't that big and the hood hangs further past his waist in robot mode. I'm not home to compair but I'm pretty sure

Ya maybe when I get home I'm gonna check it out because if it's different I'm gonna have to get this version to. Also the jet vehicon looks like they just changed the arms and leg panel to make it a jet. The whole center still looks like a car. But breakdown looks amazing I'm so glad I pre-ordered him
