Color Image CM's Corp Excel Suit Spike and Daniel with Grand Galvatron Prototype and Master Sword Floppy Disk

Hot dog! That looks beautiful! Why haven't I heard of this before?!

There's not just a Grand Galvatron (Oh god that was one of the dumbest yet awesomenest things ever) there is also a weird floppy disc hanging from a chain, right next to Galvy.
Looks kinda familiar.

Those are looking great! Was very happy with Minerva and have Ginrai on the way, and I'll be picking these up too.

Good eye! I didn't even notice it, that's the giant floppy disk that Fort Max stored the Master Sword data on.

You really gotta live Spike/Daniel to want to buy huge a exo suit. I can understand something that scales with an exsisting line, but a huge stand alone figure that can beat the crap out of MP-10 ???

How many human fans are there really in the TF fandom ?

YES! Takara/Hasbro has given us our new Masterpiece Decepticon Leader Figure!!! It's better than Meg's, Galvy, or even Unicron, it's Gwando Garvatronu !!! (I love the Japanese accent. Ever heard what McDonalds sounds like in Japanese? ^^ If not, try looking it up on YouTube).

Anyway, to be honest? I'm passing. I don't care too much about the exo-suit. Spike and Daniel basically being statues? Pass.

The Daniel/Spike exo suits, though? I can't help but wonder if someone is going to lose their shirt on this investment. If they nailed the scale (to be in line with MP), I could see it selling decently... but as it is now?

At first glance I thought it was a giant Cop-Tur Gobot....but its not.

Wow this new pictures looks really awesome, I really like the fact that Spike and Daniel look just like they did in Headmasters !!! too bad the suit is way to big, and I do not collect any MP figures yet so I will have to wait a while for this set, Headmasters was a really nice series, I just finished watching it a few weeks ago and now I'm watching Supergod MasterForce

On the other side as for Galvatron,,,,,too bad His dreams of becoming Grand Galvatron were never fulfilled, lol, thanks to Sixshot and the Headmasters

CM's Corp has released new color images of their upcoming Excel Suit with Spike and Daniel figures, and this time we get treated to many pictures. The images show all the figures up close and personal as well as the alt mode and the arms transformed for weapon mode. The site lists a release date sometime in 2014 with price still to be announced.

But does it change into Arcee's head?

I don't want the damned suit. I would've loved a Spike and Danile by themselves a'la Minerva from before.

I don't care that they don't scale with anything else it's the fact it's out of scale with itself that bothers me. The exosuits were just that, a suit. It didn't make Spike or Daniel twice as tall as they were without it on. It was a human sized suit that gave the increased strength and could transform.

It might be a little off-scale, but not by much.





Besides, if this really was a true Iron Man-style suit of armor, what do you think would happen to Daniel's legs when it folds up?

The alt mode looks really cool. Too bad it's way out of scale with anything else. I'd love to have an MP-scale one, even if the suit wasn't removeable.

It's a little-known fact that the designer of the suit was none other than Dr. Kintobor

I'm stoked they even made the thing. The size doesn't bother me much because if the suit were to be really created, chances are it would have increased in size thru progression as tech advanced. If Iron Man can upgrade his suits can't this have been upgraded. Kind of like a Pacific Rim type thing.

I try not to worry about this. I know the comic explained that the Nebulans and Humans who became Head/Power/Boogie-Masters were altered through surgeries but the toon has them in their Exo-suits, that when they take the helmets off seem to be only slightly bulkier than normal clothes, and then transform into robot heads that are big enough for them to have a lazyboy and cup-holder inside. Even when the robots' heads aren't that big compared to the scale of the humans out of the suits.

Regardless, I think this looks good, but no place for it in my collection. I have the Impossible Toys versions of Spike and Daniel in their Exo-suits and would love (LOVE) GI Joes of these guys and a few other human-sized characters from the franchise, but these are not for me.

How many hardcore Spike and Daniel fans are there out there ? I can probably count them on one hand. At least the Minerva doll had "assets" which helped move a few units.

CM Corp have posted a trio of new images that give us a look at the Grand Galvatron and Master Sword floppy disk accessories that will accompany their upcoming Spike and Daniel Excel Suit set. For those unfamiliar with these, both originate from the Japanese Transformers: Headmasters series. Grand Galvatron was a scheme Galavatron devised in which he would incorporate the Earth and most of the Decepticon forces into a planet sized body for himself. The Master Sword floppy disk contained data on the Master Sword, which Fortress Maximus was forced to hand over to the Decepticons. Check out the images mirrored below.

Grand Galvatron finally realized in plastic... I'm not sure whether to be happy... or horrified.

Just goes to show how the Japanese companies can actually do risky projects such as this and hope to get a decent profit....the Japanese collector market indeed is great.

I mean... Galvatron trying to become Unicron? nope. just. nope.

Floppy disks...sure brings back some old memories. 1.44 MB of it.

Just to clarify, though this was Galvatron's plan, he never got the chance to actually become this form, as he was killed off before any actual efforts of realizing this plan of his could be made.

So our accessories are basically 2 action figures, a yellow drink coaster and a Decepti-tumor? Cool! I'm in!

Seriously though, I like the level of detail they went to on the figures and the Exo-suits and the Disk definitely is a good touch. Reminds me just how old I really am and how long it's been since that part of the series came out. I really like the detail on the Grand Galvatron but I would have loved to have seen a slightly different color for that. It's just a shame that I'm flat broke or soon enough will be after the last minute Christmas shopping I have yet to do.

I kind of want that big dumb fat Galvatron. It so stupid it's funny.
