It look like a modern take on Skybite and this bot is just standing there, wondering what's goin on!
Anyway, he look awesome enough to be a sure purchase. I wonder if a 3rd party company already have a few alternate heads in devlopment for that mold.

Speaking of odd smells, that face makes me think he was in the furthest back seat of a car where there are no adjustable windows and someone just cut the cheese. I make that face every time.

Even has his funky little fish gun to go along with it.

Heckfire wrote:EDIT: What's particularly amusing is the pure epic fanwankery this remold presents me with. To explain: in my collection/fanfic, the initial blue 2007 Bayformer Megs serves as Cryotek, mutated by near-fatal injury from Megs and millions of years soaking in angolmois/Nucleon (undecided yet) into a sparkeater (originally a sparkDRINKer, after the name to Cybertron Metroplex's weapon, but MTMTE compelled me to rename it), with PRID Megs representing him pre-mutation.
And now, we have a blue-faced, carnivorous version of the PRID mould.
It's...it's almost beautiful in its symmetry.
That's enough internet for me today.

Oh dear....
The new 'Con symbol sucks. I get it's meant to be the basic symbol with some beastly mandibles, but it just looks like a 'Bot's punched it so hard it's cracked and dangling at the hinges.
Although I suppose it does match the new slack-jawed Megatron head. They really screwed up the Photoshopping on this one. The base figure is still pretty cool though.

Oh man, that would be great. I feel anything is possible for the 30th anniversary.

We are getting Generations Beast Megatron, so I could see more Beast Wars homages coming down the pipe.

Are you even sure about that? All we saw was a prototype with the alternate head mold, that doesn't necessarily mean an upcoming release. Remember the Ratchet and Rumble prototypes with the alternate heads?

Ye- ...No. Well, I don't remember. What prototypes are we talking about?

These two:
Prime Ratchet alternate head (aka "Gears")
Prime Rumble alternate head (for AM Rumble & Frenzy):

Oooh, those. I thought we were talking about some prototypes of the Universe/Reveal the Shield molds of Ratchet and Rumble that I didn't know about.
In that case, carry on, the stupid question has been answered.

Sharkticon Megs as Depth Charge though? I could see that. The head on the actual one is different enough from the standard Megs (even Prime Megs) head that I can see it as a different character already. Maybe just pop TFPrime Depth Charge's Dreadwing's head off and fit it on this body? I don't have both the molds (no Skyquake in my shops yet) to test it with, but if the balls/sockets are a match it'd be fine for a custom I think. Not sure on Depth Charge having the big teeth-y front though...maybe Skybyte would be a better pick?

Well guys, we donĀ“t know for sure but, as I said, everything can be possible in the 30th anniversary!

It won't be a Megatron for me, but I still like it.
Posted by Metrosuplex on June 11th, 2013 @ 11:06am CDT
But a Depthcharge using this mold would be pretty nice...
Nemesis Destron wrote:Just call him Piranatron or Megabite...'nuff said!
Love the names, hate your ending! Every time I read "'nuff said" it either sounds like the person is a Marvel dork, or that he's obnoxiously ending conversations abruptly and trying to be cool about it. Just my two cents, but 'nuff said' and 'excelsior' is something only Stan Lee should be robo-repeating.

Well well well... I never knew "'nuff said" came from a Marvel Comic thingy. We learn something everyday.
Back on topic, I LOVE that Sharkticon Megatron. If I ever see him in store, I'd pay the full 35$ for it. Then I'll make a "Terror from the Sea" display. With him, Sky-Bite, Energon and Botcon Sharkticon, plus the Seacons Combiner. Can't wait!

Anyone else notice the odd faction emblem on him?

It's a shark-themed symbol. The bottom part has been cut open to give it a jagged shark's maw.Heckfire wrote:Anyone else notice the odd faction emblem on him?
