New Transformers Generations Selects Combiner Teased

Thanks to Seibertronians Powered Convoy and Sabrblade, we have been pointed to Takara Tomy's Twitter account which shows a silhouette of King Poseidon, the next Generations Selects relea.... wait.




King Poseidon was just released, and this silhouette has the words "Next Transformers Generations Selects" across it.... this is likely meant to tease King Poseidon's Japanese repaint in the Beast Wars II cartoon, that of God Neptune. In that series, unlike King Poseidon, God Neptune was formed from five sentient Seacons, Halfshell (Turtler redeco), Coelagon (Gulf redeco), Terrormander (Kraken redeco), Sea Phantom (Overbite redeco), and the group's only female member, Scylla, a Tentakil redeco.

There wasn't a Lobclaw redeco in the group, which may be remedied, as the silhouette does show Lobclaw's lobster head as the combiner's right arm.

Greetings Seibertronians! Thanks to the work of fellow Seibertron users, Jtprime17, and Hellscream9999, we've been directed to a listing posted on TFW2005 by a user there called UtahRobotinDisguise, of an unknown supplier starting to solicit three new Generations Selects toys, Exhaust, Greasepit and Hubcap. Fans may remember these from a list of rumoured toys (that also featured Rotostorm among others).

Potential War for Cybertron: Earthrise Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker Listed

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian Cassette Dan, we have some interesting news to bring to you. According to a listing at UK online retailer Zavvi, a Deluxe Earthrise Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker are coming in October 2020. If these listings turn out to be correct, they'd likely be coming out in Wave 3 of Earthrise. This seems very likely, given that site sponsor BigBadToyStore has two "Secret" figures listed for that wave, alongside Fasttrack and Runamuck.

While this should be taken as a rumor, pending official confirmation of these two figures, it seems likely, given that Trailbreaker toys are usual retools/repaints of Hoist toys, and Hoist has a toy in the current Wave 1 of Earthrise. Whether a potential Sunstreaker would be a retool of Wheeljack, as many have speculated, or his own mold remains to be seen.

These are always fun. Below is a list of new toys found on the Toysrus system. They also have a SKU next to them. There are some interesting tidbits here aside from new characters. For isntance, WFC Smokescreen and Arcee have an individual code while there is also a code for the Earthrise deluxes in general. We do have individual listings for Greasepit, which would be another modular base. It being an individual listing means it would probably be an exclusive redeco of some kind. Same goes with Thrust, Exhaust (redeco of Wheeljack) and Hubcap. We also have a Clone 2 pack, another micromaster pack and a voyager seeker 2 pack. There is also a SDCC Gi Joe and Transformers set as well as another set simply called Repugnus' Revenge. These were all found by Zircon72.

Two Transformers BotBots Series 5 Teams Possibly Revealed

While Botbots Series 4 is only recently hitting shelves and online retail, listings for Series 5 have already started to appear at Entertainment Earth. While you may have just clicked that and noticed its "wave 4" verbiage, eagle-eyed Seibertronian TF-fan kev777 gave us a heads up that this listing appears to really be for Series 5, as its described contents are for two teams not yet released in previous assortments. TF-fan kev777 explains what to look for below:

Botbots is no stranger to food-themed teams, with Series 1 teams like the Greaser Gang and the latest Series 4 team the Los Deliciosos, so there are plenty of repaint and retool opportunities in the existing group to support another food-themed set.

Possible MP Rattrap Hint in New Year's Message from Takara Tomy

2020 is the year of the rat and Takara Tomy has posted a message on Twitter wishing everyone a happy new year (even though that particular new year starts the 25th). Their message also has an image of Rattrap and while that is very little to go on, Takara is known to give hints and clues like this for upcoming toys. Their hint for Cheetor was just the silhouette of a Cheetah acting as a button on their site. And Beast Wars Megatron was just mentioned in passing as something to aspire to one day. Well, all those have come to pass and Rattrap would make perfect sense for the next entry into the Beast Wars masterpiece figures. Or we should make nothing of it, you decide.
