Courtesy of Autobase Aichi on Facebook, we're getting a nice look at some of the Transformers licensed products on display over at the Japanese garage kit Wonder Festival 2015 - and we're mirroring images for you below, starting with the offerings of Prime One Studio!
Take a look below at some of their recent non-transforming statues, such as DOTM Bumblebee, AoE Grimlock and Optimus, and some of their upcoming work, such as AoE Drift, an unpainted Galvatron and the updated Silver Knight Optimus, along with plenty of movieverse busts, from Ironhide, to Brawl to Starscream.
IDW Transformers artist, currently regular on The Transformers, Andrew Griffith has dropped by Seibertron.com to let us know he will attending two events (for now) this year! For the first time, he'll be showing up in Chicago for C2E2 this April, and in May, he will be travelling to Puerto Rico Comic Con. Check out some of his sketch work below!
Big news to start the week out right! As I'm sure you've already seen, we finally have the first clear image of Devastator posted, which you can see here.
The following news is based on rumors, but the sources behimd all of it are known for their accuracy and honesty, so the info's quite solid. (That being said, please take all of this with the smallest grain of salt because Hasbro's plans are subject to change at any time.)
Fellow Seibertronian, Shajaki, found new information he compiled from fellow fansites TFW2005 and Cybertron.ca. The data he's provided has been truncated so we can get right to the point.
TFW2005 boards member Mr. Chaos reports that a friend of his has uncovered new Generations Combiner Wars figure names in the Walmart computer database.
Among those names, he's uncovered the following:
Voyager Cyclonus. Apparently, he will be the wave-mate of Protectobot Hot Spot, both feature similar coding (Hot Spot is B2397, and Cyclonus is B2398), and are one digit off in UPC (Hot Spot is 63050929832, and Cyclonus is 63050929833).
Optimus Maximus, a white redeco, will be in wave 4 (his code is B2727, with the UPC 63050932502).
Mr. Chaos confirms the names and UPCs of the Protectobot wave, which seems will all be available together in one wave, wave 3. (This will be the first time a full team combiner has been released in one wave, and will hopefully be a continuing trend for the future of the line.)
Wave 4 is supposed to consist of the Autobot "Masquerade homage" figures - those being Sunstreaker, Ironhide, Prowl, and Mirage.
No wave numbers provided, but Legends Blackjack, Huffer, Groove, Warpath, Viper, Rodimus, and Skywarp are also coming up in the system.
As we already know, Blackjack and Huffer are wave 2 and have begun seeing release in various Asian parts of the world.
It seems that the Transformers Battle Tactics game has been giving hints about Cyclonus all this time. In game images provided by down shift of Cybertron.ca we can see shared design details in common with Silverbolt's toy, that is supposedly the basis for the upcoming Cyclonus figure.
Not to be outdone, it seems Viper is Powerglide's recolor and strongly resembles the Rattler aircraft from GI Joe. We had originally reported on the possibility of these figures, here, courtesy of fellow Seibertronian staffer Va'al.
Some big news, big things to come, but that's not all! Fellow fan Venksta, of Renderform fame, has uncovered and shared some info with the fandom as well:
It's expected that we'll see reveals of these figures and more at this year's Toy Fair in New York City, the second week of February. Seibertron staffers, including Seibertron himself, will be on site to bring us news on the fly as the event unfolds, so remember...
Keep your optics tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest in news amd updates, plus the best galleries around!
We've received news from IDW Transformers artist Livio Ramondelli that, after visiting Japan twice with colleague Andrew Griffith, he will now be attending the Middle East Film and Comic-Con, coming up this April in Dubai! Check out their site here, and find out more below.

From our source that provided the picture of the highly anticipated Combiner Wars Devastator earlier, we now have a second blurry/distant look at Devastator that shows a little bit more of the robot mode. We cropped the photo to help all of us get a slightly closer look. This photo is from the same anonymous user who provided us with the first picture we posted earlier today at this news story.

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis have update their future events schedule, and our favourite transforming robots are taking over the exhibition space again! In honour of the arrival of animated series Transformers: Robots in Disguise, the Museum is hosting a collection showcasing different characters and their evolution from 1984 to the present day. It also seems to coincide with the currently expected air date of the series in the US - could this give us a more precise estimate? Check out their information below!

It’s that time of year again, where Va’al enters the UK Toy Fair and reports back on all of the Tranformers goodness he can find. While there isn’t quite as much news out of the UK Toy Fair this year as last, there are still a few exciting products to tell you about.
From the Toy Fair 2015: Hasbro Press release:
Beginning in March, the newest animated series, TRANSFORMERS: Robots in Disguise will begin a brand new chapter for the TRANSFORMERS brand with all new storytelling and gameplay. The new series, airing on Cartoon Network, is filled with humour, fun, adventure, and animated ina cooler, lighter, brighter style that kids are going to love.
Transformers: Robots in Disguise Optimus Prime One Step
This isn’t just a one-step changer, it’s a huge one-step changer. Standing at over 11 inches tall, this Optimus Prime figure converts from robot to truck mode and back again, in one motion. The transformation is simple; just pull the trailer apart to go from vehicle to robot, then push the chest and swing the cab down to convert back. In addition, with the Transformers: Robots in Disguise app downloaded to your mobile device, you can scan the shield to unlock a character, weapons, etc. The Optimus Prime One Step is expected to be available from Autumn 2015.
Transformers: Rescue Bots High Tide Rescue Rig
High Tide, a new Rescue Bot recruit in the Transformers: Rescue Bots programming, is introduced here in toy form. The High Tide Rescue Rig includes a mini-sub that converts automatically from vehicle mode to bot mode. High Tide can also command his Rescue Rig ship by placing the figure inside of the center hatch, then raising the levers to reveal him in the commander’s seat. To convert him to vehicle mode, press the levers down and twist the hull – now High Tide is converted to mini-sub mode. The playset also includes a crane with rescue equipment, front storage hatch, and capture cage with trap door. The Rescue Rig is compatible with the Rescue Bots Rescan figures and mini-figures to ignite the imagination.
Also spotted were the super Bumblebee one step changer (similar in size to Stomp & Chomp Grimlock), a Bumblebee blaster gun that looks like a car, and a Decepticon Hunter sword.
That’s all we’ve got for confirmed news for now, but read on for rumors and speculation from an anonymous, but reliable, source.
**The following is rumor and should not be considered speculation until officially confirmed.**
Rumor has it that besides the already much-speculated upcoming releases of Takara Masterpiece Tracks and Masterpiece Ironhide, that we could see Tank Megatron, Ratchet, Shockwave, Blitzwing, and Galvatron.
That’s it for now… but if more news breaks at the UK Toy Fair, you’ll read it here first!
Were you unable to make the SacAnime convention at the beginning of January, or did you miss your chance to hear from Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime (and many many more?). Fear not, as YouTube reviewer Sean Long was not only present, but has also shared recordings of the two panels featuring the veteran voice actor (around 50 minutes each), and an interview with the man himself! They touched upon personal stories, his opinion on Transformers toys past and present, favourite Optimus lines, potential successors, and future projects, from Rescue Bots, Robots in Disguise, and NASA. Find them below for the full viewing.
To refresh your memory about Cullen and his importance to the franchise, check out fellow Seibertronian and voice actor jON3.0's introduction to the man behind the mask, also mirrored below, highlighting the life, career and achievements of one of the human Transformers icons alive.
