Our good friend Jim Sorenson has updated his blog, Disciples of Boltox, with the newest entry out of the Ark Addendum. This one features the Generation One Season One Episode - Roll For It. Check out a little snippet of his work and what he has to say about it below.

The backgrounds of Roll For It are very typical of the first season. Lots of rolling desert-scapes, the occasional stand-alone structure like a science lab or a hydrothermal generator.

It's a pretty nice science lab, and when I get to part IV we'll go to the various cool gizmos inside. I rather appreciate both the water tower, the telescope and all the various antennae on the roof. It certainly feels sciency!

Thanks to Japanese online store Hobby Search, we get a preview of the Hobby magazine, Figure King - Issue 144. Inside the magazine is a two-page spread of Animated Ironhide (aka Bulkhead) and Bumblebee. The pages show off the glossy Animated figures and their transformations, of which we are very familiar with. Ironhide is designated as an Autobot Guardsman, while Bumblebee is an Autobot Speedster. In a grim and unfortunate development, Japanese voice actor Daisuke Gouri has has passed away. He was found at around 3:00PM, collapsed face down on the street with blood dripping from his wrist in the Nakano ward.

Gouri was famous for his roles in Japanese Anime, such as Gundam, Dragon Ball and voiced Soundwave (Revenge of The Fallen), Dinoking (Victory), and other characters from Victory, Zone, and Super God Masterforce. Daisuke Gouri, was 57.
