Toys "R" Us in Japan has started their exclusive Hot Rodimus campaign today. The first 30 customers who buy THS-02 G1 Convoy will receive a Worlds Smallest Transformers Hot Rodimus, which is the same as the one released in 2004, without the color instruction slip.

We have received an email upated from the people running Toronto TransformersCon reguarding their convention exclusive. Here is what the email had to say:
"The Toronto TransformersCon Exclusive Hard Hero "Stealth" Cyclonus Bust has been revealed. This bust is limited to 100 pieces and was the last Transformers bust produced by Hard Hero. TransformersCon was able to track down this previously unreleased item so both attendees and non-attendees could complete their collection. You can order this item by clicking here. Toronto TransformersCon with Transformers Movie Producer Don Murphy is April 29th 2006."

Welcome to the latest installment of the Iacon One newsletter. New update to the Iacon One Datatrax, otherwise, it's a quiet week... or is it?? There's a lot going on behind the scenes. Among other announcements, pre-registration is almost at hand!
DATATRAX ENTRY #2
What is Datatrax? We've set aside a portion of the Iacon One web site for a look at some fun artifacts / information of interest to fans, rarely seen before, some of which will be on display in their original form at the Iacon One event in July. We'll also be doing some 'behind the scenes' blogging about the event as plans progress.
The latest addition to the Datatrax is unused character art for... Transformers Universe Menasor! Who, you ask? This redeco was originally planned for the Transformers Universe toyline, but never released. But now you can get a look at what might have been... (recognize the toy?)

BotCon '06 will be held in Lexington, KY, September 28-Oct 1. We will be at the Hyatt Regency Lexington and the adjoining Lexington Center. Hyatt will have us loaded into their system for reservations by the end of the week.

We have received an update in our forums about the upcoming Iacon One convention. Here it is:
"Hi everyone,
Quick update from the Iacon One team - we're still working on pre-registration details but we'll have that up as soon as possible. In the meantime we have some hotel information to pass along, to help you get started with your travel plans...
HOTEL INFORMATION
Located adjacent to the convention center, the Hilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Center is the perfect place to stay while enjoying the festivities at Iacon One.
Special rates are available on Friday and Saturday nights for Iacon One attendees: the room rate is $89 (plus tax) per room, per night, for single/double occupancy, or $99 (plus tax) per room, per night, for triple/quad occupancy.
To make reservations, call the Hilton at 260-420-1100, and be sure to tell them you are attending "Iacon One". These rates will only be available until June 7, 2006, and space is limited, so make your lodging arrangements early!

The news letter of the
MechaCon 2.0, which will be held on August 11th-13th, has been send. Amoungst the updates comes the news that Scott McNeil, voice actor from several of the more recent Transformers series, has been confirmed for the convention. The following has been taken from the news letter. More info can be found on their

Scott is a fan favorite as he has provided some of the best known voices from
