Fellow Seibertronians, a short clip from the upcoming sixth episode of the new season of Transformers: Robots in Disguise has been uploaded to YouTube. The synopsis has been left below, although, it doesn't seem to have any link to the preview, which involves 'Bee, Strongarm and Grimlock attempting to capture a Mini-con that has the ability to blind opponents. Resident voice actor and podcaster jON3.0 has sent us some big news for the Hasbro Studios animated series, as it appears Transformers: Robots in Disguise and Rescue Bots have been nominated for a number of categories for the 43rd Daytime Emmy Award, as you can see below! Building on the following of Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Hasbro has partnered again with the SuperAwesome platform to release digital content with interactive, multimedia experience across the globe, as reported by Toynews-online.Biz. Find out more in the full piece below!
Hasbro will release full length episodic Transformers Robots in Disguise content on the platform every two weeks.
Following content partnerships for the My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop brands, Hasbro has once again teamed up with digital kids engagement platform SuperAwesome to deliver Transformers branded content.
SuperAwesome’s platform reaches over a quarter of a billion kids each month around the world and is used by hundreds of brands for safe digital advertising and branded content delivery to the under-13 audience.
As part of this campaign, Hasbro will release full length episodic Transformers Robots in Disguise content on the platform every two weeks.
Kids can also enter competitions, meet the bots, play games, download Transformers content, and choose a side in the Autobots v Decepticons battle.
The branded Transformers content will also appear on an integrated ‘Drive in Cinema’ section on the Bin Weevils virtual world, dedicated to the Transformers brand.
“As one of the most innovative companies in the toy market, we’re extremely excited to be working with Hasbro on this Transformers content partnership," said Dylan Collins, SuperAwesome CEO.
"Hasbro realise that kids need to engage with content in multiple locations and devices and this is the perfect way to achieve that objective.”
This latest activity complements the companies’ existing partnerships as Hasbro is also using SuperAwesome’s Kids Web Services platform to power its My Little Pony Friendship Club site in the UK, Italy and France.
Craig Wilkins, marketing director, Hasbro UK & Ireland, added: “Transformers has always been a hugely popular brand for kids across the country, capturing audience’s imaginations for over 30 years.
"SuperAwesome is the perfect partner to bring this exciting brand to life for an increasingly digital generation and introduce Transformers on a unique, interactive level.”
Thanks to fellow Seibertronians SurviveFan23 and Sabrblade we have new information regarding the long awaited season 4 of Transformers Rescue Bots, soon to be the longest running Transformers cartoon in history. This episode seems to feature the already unveiled, but much anticipated, Crazybolt, and his fellow lizard-bot, Slicedice, who was seen briefly in the season 2 preview. This is a complete 68 page animators bible for the first Transformers cartoon episode More Than Meets The Eye (Arrival From Cybertron in the UK) I obtained this from a former Marvel USA employee over 15 years ago. The pages are a strange size, larger than a normal letter size and longer, I’ve not seen paper this size anywhere else. It includes the animation design for every 1984 character plus humans, the Ark and Shockwave. It also includes designs for how each character should be shown to Transform. Some robot names are incorrect or switched as this was put together during the early stages of Transformers creation. There are also pages to show the height comparisons between robots and how robots mouths should move. It’s very rare to find a full intact set such as this. I’ve deliberately only shown parts of each page to preserve the exclusivity of the images. I am starting bidding at just 5 bucks a page! No reserve! If you need any more information just ask. "The Spacebridge" has an e-bay auction up for one the greatest Transformers Movie Memorabilia you could ever imagine: a full 1000 page set of the Storyboards used in making the movie. Here is a description:
This is an original production used set of storyboards for the 1986 Transformers Animated Movie. I have owned these for over 20 years, I obtained them from a former Sunbow staff member. This is the only known set of movie storyboards in existence that were actually used in the production of the movie. Other sets known to exist were reference sets, this one was actually used in the making of the film. I am only selling these as I have another signed set that belonged to one of the writers. The storyboards are over 500 pages long, each page double sided. The storyboards were created to plan out the design of every shot in the film. This set is marked FINAL Jan 29th 1986. It includes the entire film and some deleted scenes. (It does not include ALL the known deleted scenes as some had already been cut by this point) The set does have some handwritten notes, mainly in red ink on some pages that were made during production.
